Offgrid Lake Vyrnwy Eryri NationalPark RSPBNature

BethanyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed at Jane’s wonderful Air BnB for a hen party weekend and had a fantastic time. Jane was proactive and very informative before the trip. It was a beautiful house with plenty of space for a hen party weekend - private, large kitchen and dining, plenty rooms and good music system. There was no service and limited wifi but that didn’t matter to us. Plenty of walks and activities around the lake to enjoy. Would highly recommend x

An absolute gem of a find. Stunning scenery right at the doorstep and a peaceful little spot. Stunning home not too busy and just right for a quiet couples getaway. Lisa was friendly and easy to communicate with and even offered local recommendations for things to do in the local area.

Dry Dock Cottage

SiobhanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The photos do not do the Drydock Cottage justice - it is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos and also a lot more spacious. The attention to detail and every element of the design that has gone into the conversion of this building is second to none. The location is also absolutely perfect - so peaceful, tucked away in gorgeous grounds with a view straight out onto the canal and across over the valley to the mountains beyond. I could have sat and watched the world go by, including the families of ducks, all day. The home made goodies were very welcoming and I loved every minute of my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for people looking to escape to somewhere unique and peaceful.

Rustic Stone Cottage with Cosy Wood Burning Stove

RobertRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Sharon’s place is a great place to be immersed in and surrounded by nature. The children loved playing by the beaver pond, fire pits and marshmallows, tree swing, kayaking on the pond, seeing left over cooked food be pecked up by the geese and hens and the most amazing experience watching beavers free to roam up close just a couple of metres away. The drought meant we needed to be careful with water which helped the kids to learn how precious water is and that it is not in unlimited supply. The cottage was also very cosy and practical and had a very effective wood burning stove and good heating so we stayed cosy when we needed to. Thank you for a memorable stay and the warm welcome and excellent communication.

'The Haven' An Exquisite 16th Century Stone Home

GemmaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Blaeneinion is probably the most beautiful Airbnb location we've ever stayed at. Sharon and Stee were extremely helpful and very welcoming. Accommodation was great - we stayed in the 16th Century Cottage. We would recommend to anyone who wants to take some time out of the rat race and be at one with nature. I think the word Shangri-la has come up in previous people's reviews and would 100% echo that!! We will definitely be booking again and will further explore the area surrounding the accommodation - I gather it's a huge area. The weather wasn't on our side, so we only visited the Osprey Centre (15 mins away), Aberystwyth (25-30 mins away), took an hours circular walk around the Blaeneinion location - absolutely incredible. On the way back home, we swung by the Hafren Forest (60 mins or so away). Thank you again to Sharon and Stee for making us so welcome!! One item to mention, don't be worried about the single lane road, it's a bit hairy, but well worth the drive when you arrive!!

Bullrush Barn: Canal Location, Brecon Beacons

I booked Rachel's place for my parents and another couple. They said that the accommodation was great. It was comfy and really well located. Being by the canal was a lovely spot and they enjoyed a boat trip and steam train ride locally.

Dragonfly Cottage: Canal,Mountains, Brecon Beacons

ShamiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We were family of 4, with teens. Cottage is cosy but ample space for us as we were there to explore the outdoors. It's very well located for exploring the Brecon Beacons - 25 min drive to parking lots for climbing Pen Y Fan, and approx 30 min to the Four Waterfall Walk for example. very quiet and peaceful place to stay. We were lucky with sunshine and had few hours sitting on the banks of the canal which was an unexpected bonus as it's a 1 min walk from front door. Best food by far was as at Three Horseshoes Inn - about 5 min drive away

Stunning Lakeside House with hot tub and fishing

CaraRating, 5 stars15 months ago
A beautiful home in an even more beautiful location. We were there over a long weekend of rain and wind but still plenty to do - rainy hot tub dips and squelchy dog walks! The lake and the boat are fantastic, the kids loved feeding the swans. The kitchen is so well equipped - very generous number of plates, cutlery, cups, glasses and all wonderful quality. My only constructive feedback would be - considering the price point - the bedding and towels were of less good quality. The air hockey table wasn't working which was a shame because the kids were really excited to play with it. All in all, a really lovely stay.
