Waterfront holiday rentals in Positano

We had an incredible time staying at Andrea’s place. He was super helpful in meeting us and helping us bring luggage up to the apartment. The view was beyond beautiful and he went out of his way to make sure he showed us everything in the kitchen and all the amenities we could use. His family was very friendly and we loved the terrace. Being able to do laundry was a huge bonus. The location couldn’t have been better; we were right in the middle of the square and the apartment overlooks the port of Amalfi. Very easy for ferry access and getting something to eat. Would definitely recommend!!

We couldn’t have picked a better Airbnb! This place was in the perfect location in Marina Grande near Ferries, Bus and Train Lift up to Capri Center. We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute. We people watched from the front porch with stunning views and glasses of wine! We got to cook simple breakfast in the mornings and explore all of Capri! Everything in the island is breathtaking! Just do Capri and make sure to visit quaint Ana Capri which is quiet and charming with tons of artisan shops with amazing food! Also if you stay just book this place! The washing machine made it so easy for us to keep our wardrobe clean. Bed was comfortable and was fantastic! Enjoy everyone!!!

this was probably one of my all time fav airbnbs that i ever stayed at. luigi was amazing, the apartment was overlooking a beautiful garden and all you ever heard was the birds. 12/15 minute was from the train, 1 train stop only from sorrento downtown where all the shuttle boats are. the sunsets were glorious from the patio! i just loved it. would love to come back.

Great views from the balcony. Right on the water with a ton of restaurant options. Very spacious. A little difficult getting in and up the elevator but once we figured it out was very easy.

We had a very lovely stay at this apartment - the host was welcoming and patient because we arrived a bit late for our check-in on the first night. They gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling rosé along with some delicious biscuits, which was a really nice touch as well. The apartment is very beautiful, and we especially loved the balcony and living room area, with fabulous views of the coastline. You don't get a full sunset, as the sun sets behind the mountains, but it is still nice and for most of the evening the balcony is a sun trap. The were nice views, but the beach opposite the flat seemed a little bit dirty to be honest. But there are loads of beautiful beaches around the Amalfi Coast, and this apartment is well situated to explore places nearby. My only other critique is that we weren't shown how to use the air con units on arrival, so the apartment was very hot at night, and too noisy to open windows due to the busy main road. Other than that - really enjoyed!

Can’t recommend Federica’s place enough! Such a great spot & easy to get to Napoli, Amalfi coast, Capri, Pompeii… we enjoyed our stay throughly & Federica was so friendly & kind. She provided many options & recommendations to make our holiday the best experience.

Wir hatten eine super Zeit in dem kleinen Apartment mit Blick aufs Meer. Morgens aufzuwachen und vom Bett aufs Meer zu sehen ist wirklich toll. Iryna ist eine super Gastgeberin die schnell auf Fragen reagiert. Sie hat uns gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Supermärkte für die nähere Umgebung gegeben. Very nice and clean appartment and a host tha goes over and beyond; even hopping on a video call while at family event when we had a problem with the safe.

Casa Margherita was amazing for our large family! The location of the home was ideal for our group (4 adults and 2 children) - about 1/3 of the way up the La Scalinatella (one of the main sets of stairs). We were within a 10-15 minute walk of all shops, restaurants, and beaches in Positano. Margherita greeted us at the door with a warm smile, a glass of Prosecco, and a tour of the home. She provided excellent recommendations for restaurants, porter services, and allowed us to check in early after a long day of travel. She was responsive and was essential for an amazing family trip! Would love to stay again! 🌸🎉

Great spot near Sorrento! Clean, spacious, loved the views. A few restaurants within walking distance and a coffee shop we enjoyed in the mornings. The only downside is you have to take a taxi to get to your car every time you want to use it. Also the beach gets super busy during the daytime in summer, which is fun if you want to join in! And evenings and mornings are so peaceful and relaxing. Great stay.

Perfect peaceful spot by the beach — a hidden gem! Our family absolutely loved staying here. The location is unbeatable right by the beach, with a peaceful, serene atmosphere that felt like a true escape from the crowds of Amalfi and Positano. We were so glad we chose not to stay in the busier towns! The boat to Amalfi and Positano is literally right outside the apartment, making day trips so easy. There are beautiful restaurants nearby, and the fairy lights at night create such a magical ambience. The apartment itself is charming and a bit rustic, with just one bathroom, but the stunning location and experience more than make up for it. We felt very safe and well looked after, Salvatore is an excellent host who helped us with our big bags and checked in on us throughout our stay to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a truly relaxing coastal experience away from the crowds.

Maria è una host fantastica, molto gentile e disponibile. La casa è dotata di tutto quello che serve, lo spazio esterno è molto gradevole e funzionale per il rientro dal mare. La posizione è molto comoda, vicinissima al mare (a piedi), alla fermata dell’autobus, a negozi e ristoranti. Raccomando fortemente!

We had an amazing 4 nights in this beautiful location, Melania’s place is situated in an idyllic area. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Melania gave us lots of suggestions of places to visit and where to eat and was very helpful. We would love to return again sometime in the future. This place is a real gem!

We had a wonderful stay at Ramona’s place. It’s very well located in the middle of everything and super quiet.! The apartment is recently renovated and felt like home. The rooftop has a wonderful view and is a great place to chill. Ramona was exceptionally helpful and responsive to all our queries. She recommended wonderful restaurants and always made sure we would have the best available table. I would highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

His exceptional assistance with the check-in and check-out process truly set the tone for our stay. He organized luggage carriers and arranged a chauffeur to ensure we arrived at the train station seamlessly. His attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction were greatly appreciated. We can't wait to return!

My sister and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Natale’s place. It was like being in a painting or a movie. The view from the terrace was stunning, and the house was well-maintained and authentic. We loved the large, arched wooden doors and windows through which we could see the sky, sea and flowers from inside. The house was spotless. The tile floors gleamed. We dined out, so we used the kitchen only for breakfast. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. The location near the Chiesa Nuova was perfect for us. It was a nice neighborhood. The house is about 100 stairs from two markets, the bar internationale and a couple of restaurants. Descending more stairs takes you to the heart of Positano where there are many shops and restaurants. Descending even more stairs takes you to the beaches. Women in our early 70s, we managed fine. Our host Natale and his on-site representative, Maria, were welcoming, responsive, and helpful in every way. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Annamaria was a very generous and helpful host. We got around the language barrier by using the translate app. She gave us helpful tips about good restaurants and bars and provided a map of the city with points of interests marked on it. The location was perfect, very central and with beautiful surroundings. The private balcony was lovely to sit out in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine or two! Annamaria arranged for someone to collect us from the airport when we arrived and a taxi on our last day. We stayed for 10 days and she arranged for the apartment to be cleaned half way through our stay. She also gave us a welcome gift of beautiful pastries! I would recommend staying in Annamaria’s apartment and would definitely like to stay there next time we visit Napoli.

Io e mio marito abbiamo trascorso una notte da Margherita a Marina grande. L'appartamento corrisponde fedelmente alle immagine e alla descrizione fatte su airbnb. L'accesso è molto semplice, Margherita è molto disponibile. Abbiamo trovato l'appartamento pulito e con tutti i comfort. Torneremo sicuramente.

We hadden een prachtige vakantie bij Laura en Vito, de beste gastvrouw en gastheer die je je kan voorstellen. Nog vóór aankomst kreeg ik nuttige info over de regio. Bij aankomst werden we opgehaald aan de luchthaven van Salerno. We hadden direct een leuke babbel en in het appartement kregen we nog allerlei tips om de streek te ontdekken, ook op culinair vlak :-). Vito is steeds bereikbaar en reageert onmiddellijk op je bericht. In de buurt heb je een bakker, fruithandel, supermarkt, delicatessenzaak, heel goeie restaurants en bars. Het appartement is heel ruim en net met een prachtig zicht op de zee. Een auto heb je hier niet nodig. De bus brengt je naar het station en de veerdienst of een wandeling van een half uurtje kan uiteraard ook. Aangezien we nog niet alles gezien hebben van deze mooie streek gaan we zeker nog eens terug. Grazie mille Laura e Vito!

Francesco was a great host. Very responsive with great recommendations. Wouldn’t go anywhere else if I came back to Naples.

Le logement est très bien situé et facile à trouver. Les lits sont confortables et la cuisine bien équipée. Raphaëlle répond très vite et est très convivial. Nous étions près des prises en charge pour les excursions. Très bon choix !

When so many places on or near the Amari Coast are over crowded Salvatore’s place is a perfect place to find peace and enjoy your vacation. There are plenty of restaurants and a mini market that has anything you need right there. Our family enjoyed the homemade gelato there in Nerano at least once a day. The air conditioning upstairs works great to keep you cool on a hot summers night and the kitchen was stocked with anything we needed. We were able to catch a ferry from the dock to Almalfi and Positano, this was similar to an excursion where it took you and allotted 3 hours and 2 hours at each destination, which was perfect to see it and then escape the crowds back to the quiet beaches in Nerano. The boat got you there in less than an hour where a car would take you 2-3+ hours. I would recommend this home to anyone planning a trip to that region of Italy.

We had a wonderful time at Roberta’s place. The location is incredible, and the house is spacious and has everything you might need. As other people have mentioned, you can hear the music from Il Pirata next door at night - for us this was only an issue on the Saturday night when they had a party. Roberta gave us lots of excellent recommendations, we will definitely be back!
