Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Positano

Alessandra’s villa is gorgeous! The view was phenomenal and the place very clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend. Love to come back sometime. There is obviously lots of stairs to go anywhere in the area so might want to consider that when booking. Thank you Alessandra!

We loved Alfonso’s place! It was a truly beautiful property with the best terrace, we loved sitting out there and watching the sunset. The beds were very comfortable, everything was well stocked, and it was very spacious. The shower was wonderful and the view was amazing. A few stairs, but that is to be expected, and tricky water pressure in the toilet, but not a big deal. Alfonso was very kind to us and gave us great recommendations and tips as well as helping us get a boat cruise booked and answering our questions about the bus. Bus stop very close to airbnb makes it easy to get around the coast. We loved it and I would recommend this place to absolutely everybody, would love to be back!

A most relaxing and peaceful stay at Marks in Capri! We were given really good restaurant recommendations which we were able to try 4, and loved them all. An easy location to walk to town and catch a taxi or a bus. Saw much more of Capri on this visit due to our convenient and quiet location with a stunning view of the ocean and the gulls. Très bel appartement prêt de plusieurs bon restos à pied et dépanneurs. Très tranquille avec une belle terrasse sous les citronniers! Beau décor et paisible. Si vous décidez de faire le chemin montant les marches pour Ravello armé vous de bonne jambes et bons genoux car cela ne finit plus de monter et l’on doit penser par la suite à redescendre ! L’exercice d’une vie !

This is based on what my daughter told me, as it was her and her new husband who actually stayed at this AirBnB. I was involved as I helped book it, by using one of my AirBnB vouchers. They seemed delighted with it. They also intend to submit a review.

Erminia is an excellent host - friendly, responsive and helpful. She gave us helpful suggestions to organise a transfer from Naples airport which in hindsight was a great recommendation. The apartment is as per the photos - clean and has all the amenities. The best bit is the view from the balcony wow! It is important to know that to get the view you are high up which involves lots of steps. Erminia is gracious with her property and even provided us with extra eggs from her chickens. Thanks Erminia - we will be back!

Beautiful traditional apartment with breathtaking views. 10 minute walk into town centre which is pretty standard for Positano. Lovely host who helped with everything that was needed. Comfy bed, hot shower and secure safe on premises. Note that Positano is full of inclines and steps so be prepared. Porters are on hand for a fee to help with luggage if required. Overall loved it!!!

We felt extremely lucky to have found this spot. Maria was so kind and helpful routing us to her the location, giving us a tour of the apartment and garden, helping us with our laundry, and answering any questions we had. The pictures of the garden do not do it justice. It felt like we had our own private green oasis with the most amazing view. The place was perfect for cooking up dinner and eating outside. Maria even provided seat cushions, lounge cushions, and a table cloth.

From the moment we booked, Francescopaolo was in touch asking if we needed him to arrange ANYTHING prior to our arrival. He sent so much informative information and this was so helpful when deciding where to go and what to do. He is a wonderful man and will help you with anything you need. The location is perfect to get to the ferry that will take you to the other islands. The home is very secure and private. Luckily, there is an elevator for your luggage so you do not need to bring it up and down the stairs. The bathrooms are a little small however, this is to be expected in a home that was built over 700 years ago. The view from this home is absolutely breathtaking. The beauty of the terrace is exactly as it is pictured. In my opinion, it is one of the most beautiful terraces in Minori. Thank you francescopaolo for sharing your beautiful home. I look forward to returning in the future.

The property is in a simply beautiful setting, with amazing patios and a pool we made full use of. The host and staff were wonderful and helped us in every way possible. We loved our visit and the views!!!! Just 2 notes, if you have physical challenges you will struggle getting up and down the stairs between the street and property (there are many!). And if you want to spend a lot of time in the town of Amalfi, there is no easy way to travel back and forth. There is a bus that is exceptionally crowded without stops called out so very stressful. And taxis from the center to the property go off meter and can charge as much as 100-130 euro for the 15 minute drive when busy. There is a town shuttle in the peak period I’m told but it was not running during our stay. The staff however were wonderful and gave us rides when they could; Alessandrina assisted us with tour arrangements and was very helpful; and we loved Dina and her sister Enzah who lived on the property and helped us so much!

Nicola was an amazing host. He was extremely helpful making reservations and answering questions about the area. He made 3 dinner reservations, arranged our transport from the train station to the Airbnb and back, and a private boat ride for us. Upon arrival he recommended we rent a Vespa, and he arranged that as well. We were picked up from our Airbnb by a shuttle and taken directly to the Vespa rental location. Staying in Praiano vs Positano or Amalfi was the best decision we made. It was so peaceful and quiet. The restaurants Nicola recommended were amazing, getting around was very easy, and it was a quick Vespa ride to the rest of the amalfi coast. All of the other cities were overcrowded. Overall, I couldn’t imagine a better stay.

Where do I begin? Everything was PERFETTO! The home was absolutely gorgeous with views from two small terraces off of the bedroom and living room overlooking the cliff homes and the bay. The sunsets were breathtaking from 5 different outside terraces that cascaded down alongside the house from the pool down. The delicious homemade lemoncello left for us and the nice breakfast snacks were wonderful with our morning coffee. There is also a menu to have food delivered which was great after a long day of walking. Our host Antonino was fantastic! He stopped in to meet us, helped with suggestions, and helped carry our luggage to the car when leaving. The "supermercato" was cute and more like one of our corner stores but had everything we needed. This was by far our favorite stay during our holiday. Peaceful, quiet, and serene. If I get the chance, I will definitely stay here again. Antoni was accommodating, went out of his way, and was a super, super, super host! I cried happy tears!

First time in the Amalfi coast and staying at Mariagrazia’s villa was FANTASTIC! We also got to meet Annamaria and Tony as the other hosts, who were very friendly, considerate, easy to get along with, and extremely kind! Both were very responsive whenever needed and the ease of communication allowed us to book really good deals to visit Capri and Positano/Amalfi from the villa with Tony driving us to the port and back. Tony goes out of his way to be extremely accommodating and his willingness to drive us to bus stops/ports made it very easy to get around the area without needing a car. The villa itself is private, beautiful, and the views of Capri and of the sunset over the sea are stunning. Staying here we felt like one of the locals away from the noisiness of tourists. The hosts have great recommendations for local places to eat. We felt like we made a great friendship with Annamaria and Tony and we cannot wait to come back and stay here again, HIGHLY recommend booking this villa!

We had an amazing stay! Cleanest home we have ever rented. View is beautiful. The pool a huge plus! My daughter loved it! Mariano was an amazing host, very kind and accommodating. Fresh fruit, homemade olive oil and welcome snacks was an unexpected surprise as well as the stop at the grocery store right after pick up! The house is up the hill from town and tour companies will not pick up from there but Mariano’s well thought out Shuttle service made the commute easy! I definitely recommend this home if you are looking to be just far enough from the craziness of downtown but close enough to experience it all! Thank you Mariano it was a fantastic vacation!!!

Absolutely stunning view! Lino was so kind…he even took us on a little drive to point out nearby restaurants and grocery stores, which was incredibly helpful. The local restaurant he recommended was delicious (10 min walk), and the grocery store owners were so friendly and spoke great English (5min walk). A wonderful stay all around!

This place has everything you need and more. We felt so welcomed. The balcony had such a wonderful view and the town has such a relaxed feel. Marina makes you feel right at home and leaves so many snack and wonderful treats for the stay. It was a pleasure and a dream staying here.

Place was as advertised, very beautiful ocean view. Raffaele was communicative and helped organize a taxi to pick us from the airport and even was flexible when it came to a slightly later check out when our next destination had a later check in!

Muy buena opción para visitar Positano, bajando las escaleras de la calle del hospedaje hay una parada de bus que tiene el bus interno de Positano y otro para ir a amalfi y salerno, como así para sorrento (para los que salen de Positano hay que comprar los tickets abajo). Para ir caminando es bastante pendiente pero es muy lindo para ir disfrutando de las vistas, y si vas por la calle de los autos el recorrido no es pesado. El departamento cumple con todo lo anunciado (a nuestro gusto faltaba una pava para calentar agua, había una sola copa de vino y el horno eléctrico era un poco chico para 4 personas). Igualmente todo se compensa con la buena predisposición de Monica, quien siempre se mostro pendiente de nuestras necesidades y brindo soluciones rápidamente. Totalmente recomendable

We had a very lovely stay at this apartment - the host was welcoming and patient because we arrived a bit late for our check-in on the first night. They gave us a complimentary bottle of sparkling rosé along with some delicious biscuits, which was a really nice touch as well. The apartment is very beautiful, and we especially loved the balcony and living room area, with fabulous views of the coastline. You don't get a full sunset, as the sun sets behind the mountains, but it is still nice and for most of the evening the balcony is a sun trap. The were nice views, but the beach opposite the flat seemed a little bit dirty to be honest. But there are loads of beautiful beaches around the Amalfi Coast, and this apartment is well situated to explore places nearby. My only other critique is that we weren't shown how to use the air con units on arrival, so the apartment was very hot at night, and too noisy to open windows due to the busy main road. Other than that - really enjoyed!

Antonella was accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. She was very kind to me when I turned up with a sore foot! The place is lovely - in the midst of her and her family’s plot, with lemon groves and a stunning view. It is on the quiet side of Ravello, which was very peaceful at night. The accommodation is comfortable and clean. The second bedroom is an internal room with no external window, so slightly unusual but not a problem if you let it ventilate properly during the day. There are lots of steps everywhere. This should not surprise anyone who is booking a holiday to Ravello!

We absolutely loved our stay in Meta at Emanuele's place. He kindly greeted us upon check in and showed us around his beautiful apartment. The place was stunning. Exactly like the photos. And that view!! 😍❤️ He gave us some great tips on the area and recommendations on bars, restaurants and cafes. The bus stop was just a short walk away to bring us into Sorrento for some day trips. It would be a great place to relax on the beach when the weather gets warmer as there was a great little beach bar just underneath that was preparing for the summer months ahead with decking and sun loungers etc. We had a small issue with the shower which Emanuele very quickly and kindly rectified for us. We really enjoyed our stay here, off the beaten track and away from the madness of Sorrento and Positano. It is a great place to base yourself if you want somewhere quiet, but near public transport to take you to the tourist attractions. We just wish we had more time there!
