Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Positano

We stayed here during our honeymoon, and it was perfect! Filippo and Stefania were very flexible and understanding when our trains had run late, and even left a very sweet welcome for our honeymoon! The location is perfect, right next to an entrance to the ruins, and the included breakfast to the cafe downstairs was delicious. 100% recommend if you’re staying in Pompei!

Wow, what a wonderful stay. The villa and grounds are gorgeous - pictures cant convey how beautiful and peaceful the villa is. Tucked away in a little village above…. Accessible by taxi, bus, or you can walk up from Positano. Much preferred this location to the crowds of the Amalfi coast. Great location as you are alrady at the top of the mountain and can easily walk to the path of the gods and hiking trails. Regarding service: Antonia and her husband were outstanding hosts, met us on arrival and treated us like family! Always available with suggestions for things to do and places to visit/eat during our time together. Speaking of food, the breakfast each morning was AMAZING….served outdoors on the patio overlooking the mountains/sea…. Each day provided varying selection of fruits, fresh squeezed juice, eggs, vegetables, meats, toast, coffee, cakes, sometimes a treat from their family restaurant down the road (best in ITALY, do not miss it)….OH, my mouth is watering.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this beautiful B&B. The room was tastefully decorated with thoughtful interiors and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly made the experience stand out, however, was the host Irma's hospitality and attention to detail. Irma was incredibly responsive and always available to answer our questions, offering us great local tips and the best transport options to explore the area. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious homemade breakfast with a variety of options that made us feel right at home. A special mention to the sweet gesture of sharing a homemade local delicacy—it was both heartwarming and delightful. It’s evident that she pours her heart into hosting. Her commitment to her property and her guests truly shows in every little detail. We’re grateful for the warm welcome and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable stay.

Alfonso made us feel like family the minute we walked in! He had helped arrange a car for us after we landed in Naples. Our ride to his place was seamless. His cute place is in the heart of Sorrento, super walkable and close to all the shops, restaurants, train station, scooter rentals, marina, etc. The B&B is on one of the top floors of Alfonso’s building. There is a shared kitchen supplied with coffee, milk, juices, fresh fruit, muffins eggs, etc that you can eat. Our room was basic but had the essentials, and the king size bed was so comfy and perfect to drop into after a long day of exploring the coast. There is terrace on the rooftop perfect for sharing a bottle of wine or sharing in the celebrations of the square - Napoli win the league championship while we were there and it was quite the celebration to watch from the terrace!! I realized I had forgotten to book a boat tour and Alfonso and his son too care of us, booking us with a great company on short notice. We will be back!!

One of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at in all of my travels. Let’s start with the fact that to check in, Sylvia’s mom the nice Italian grandmother is super friendly and will guide you. Next, the location is near the center but perfectly located so it’s in a quiet corner. From the port, once you take the funicular it’s a 4 minute walk. I loved the location as I could go to the center, anacapri and always go back and forth. As for the place, it was super clean and I mean very I checked every corner. The place is perfect, I was one person and you have everything as the photos: 2 beds, 2 floors, big bathroom, kitchen, etc. As for the host Sylvia, she would always ask how I was and recommend me local things to do which I really appreciated. The location is so convenient you have time to literally walk to all the main attractions: Viewpoints, funicular, Gardens of Augustus, etc. This Airbnb was super safe and I definitely recommend staying here as it is hard to find everything I got!

We only stayed for a night, however we did manage to do a lot on the day that we were in Pompeii. The check in was easy, Stefano was very friendly and super helpful, he told us how to get to our activities and also showed us a map of the best areas for restaurants. The room was very nicely decorated and throughly cleaned. We had a great time! Thank you.

I had the best time staying at Valentina's place. As a solo traveler I felt safe and welcomed. The apartment was clean, situated in very close proximity to the metro station in a well-kept apartment building. The host was kind, open to help and to answer all the questions. I can't wait to go back to Napoli and hopefully secure a room in Valentina's beautiful apartment.

We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime. The location is great due to the proximity to Pompeii and it was pleasantly quiet at night. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay at Davide’s place, the view was breathtaking, and he was such a friendly and helpful host. He organized our private transportation to the airport, responded very quickly to any messages, and was very flexible. The location is also a generational family farm so we were delighted to put our money towards this. Also, a small thing, but we absolutely loved the Davide’s little dog that ran around the farm. She was so sweet and we loved sitting on the patio watching her hunt for lizards!

Wow, best Airbnb experience. Fabio and Victoria were the best hosts - truly serene experience and Fabio/Victoria really make an effort to make you feel cared for. They went out of their way to show us a good time on several occasions, and it will always be remembered.

Our family of 4 had a great stay at Alessio’s place. The apartment had everything we needed and the view from our patio was amazing. The shared patio and the lemon trees in the background are gorgeous. Breakfast was delightful. The ladies in the kitchen were so nice and welcoming. Hot items available and coffee was made to order. You have to have dinner at Alessio’s restaurant downstairs, especially if you are seafood lover. They do seafood right! Homemade pasta was also some of the best.

We can’t recommend Giuseppe’s place enough!! We absolutely loved our stay in Positano! The view from the room was incredible and we enjoyed the breakfasts on the terrace every morning! Giuseppe helped us with a lot of recommendations and arrangements and we are so thankful he did!! Also- tip to walk the roads to his house in order to skip some of the infamous Positano stairs! It was a lot easier and very pretty views! We had the best time and hope we can make it back one day!! Thank you, Soso!!

Where do I start... we had the absolute best time here. Chef Ivan and Rosaria are wonderful, kind and very welcoming, as are Toni and the little puppy Willy! They kindly gave us rides for a small fee to and from the train station and ferry area. The space is exactly as pictured - clean, bright room with a gorgeous tiled bathroom and panoramic views from the small bedroom window. The highlight was Casale Guarracino restaurant. The views from the restaurant garden and patio are stunning with a pretty sunset. The food will SPOIL you. The other reviews were right... it's not worth it to eat dinner anywhere else. The food here is divine and we regret having dinner anywhere else. Downtown Sorrento food was fine, but the Casale food was WAY better. We took a cooking class that was 10/10 and affordable relative to others in the area. They were accommodating of my partner's vegetarian diet too. We absolutely plan to come back again!

This is by far one of the best places I’ve stayed. I used Airbnb a lot and this was not only a private, clean, very nice and well located place, but the added value of having Alessia as a hostess, makes this experience a 100 times worth it. She had welcome cupcakes and a mini bar stocked with juices and water, the breakfast was amazing and she was always super responsive and had great suggestions to get around town. The local bus stops and metro stations were incredibly close (less than 5 minutes walking), and there is amazing restaurants super close by. I could not recommend this place enough. If I’m ever in Sorrento again, I would not stay anywhere else. Alessia and Marco are amazing and you should definitely stay with them.

What a magical place for our honeymoon! Roberta was amazing every step of the way from giving great local recs to responding very quickly when I had a question before or during our stay. The view outside on the terrace is one of the most breathtaking views you will ever see and it was very peaceful and private. If you are going down to the beach it is 320 steps on the stairs - very easy to navigate and maybe a 7-10 minute walk up if you are in moderate shape. We will be visiting again for one of our anniversaries down the road!!

Our favorite stay in all of Italy!! Costanzo and his family truly went above and beyond for us. Impeccable service, stunning views, and a beyond beautiful property. The room was spotless and the amenities were better than described. Costanzo helped us arrange lunch and dinner reservations as well, all of which were wonderful. We will be back and we will book a longer trip next time. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Our stay was awesome! It is in a great location, very walkable with lots of restaurants/ shops. It was very clean and there was even some free snacks. The host was flexible and let us check in early!

Leticia and Roberta went above and beyond for us. We are gluten free. So, Letizia made sure our breakfast was gluten free. Roberta even gave us recommendations of gluten free options in town. As for the space, wow. It is wonderfully laid out and very comfortable. She has done a masterful job of giving privacy at her place. The views of the city and mountains are beautiful and we loved having the windows open for amazing breezes to be let in. To be sure, there are stairs you have to climb to get up to her place so I would not recommend it if you can’t make it up several flights of Amalfi coast city stairs. But if you can make the trek, it is well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend all of our family and friends to do the same.

We had a great stay! The place was nice and very private, with free breakfast and parking—definite pluses. Agostino and his father were very helpful and welcoming. We also visited their family-owned restaurant, Ortiga Restaurant , and it’s a must-try—absolutely delicious food. Highly recommended!

I was able to have a friendly and warm experience in an Italian home. With thoughtful guidance both inside and outside the host, I stayed like my home for a comfortable two-night stay, and the furnishings in the room were well-equipped, so there was no inconvenience. I would highly recommend it if my friends visit Naples.

Giuseppe was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had. The room was private, clean, and quiet! He gave lots of local recommendations and his breakfast pastries and cappuccinos were delicious! I could not recommend staying here more.

Marvelous discovery in Capri, Angelo and Giulia have an amazing place to treat yourself to a wonderful vacation, beautiful and spot clean apartment with everything you would want for a vacation absolutely perfect !!!!they were also very helpful with the tips they gave us on what to do and how to do it to get around Capri on the cake and the icing on the cake was our breakfast pastries baked by Angelo himself… so congratulations and wish you all the luck!

The best Airbnb I have stayed at! It was so beautiful, peaceful with exceptional attention to every possible detail (iron, hair dryer, etc). I relaxed in the hammock in their beautiful gardens. The breakfast was delicious and huge! All fresh ingredients, served with pride. The hosts were always readily available to answer questions or book reservations. Antonino was kind enough to both pick me up at the bus stop, and deliver me to the train station so I didn’t have to walk with my bags. A quick 10 min walk to transport connects you with Sorrento, but Piano is a lovely little town too- with less tourists. I would love to return to Villa Maresca some day!

Pascal was an amazing host! His place was very clean and super cute. He was really friendly and gave us amazing recommendations. He even reserved a table at the restaurant for us! The breakfast was brought to our room every morning and was super delicious. The view from our room was really nice and we loved that we got to know his three dogs :)
