Beach apartment holiday rentals in Positano

We had the most wonderful stay at Giovanni Maria’s place. Our host was exceptional - so wonderfully kind and friendly, giving us so many wonderful recommendations and being the most fantastic host we have experienced. The apartment is huge, with three outside spaces overlooking the sea. It is very easy to walk to the beach and restaurants and the nearby train station meant we could easily reach Pompei, the amalfi ferry and the very lovely Vietri Sol Mare. A little piece of me will stay in the apartment - it was exceptional. We would love to come back one day.

We had a great stay in the heart of Sorrento. So fun to go right downstairs and have Sorrento at your fingertips. Costantino always had helpful suggestions and reached out several times to make sure we were having a wonderful stay. He’s a true pro!!

This was a wonderful stay! It was my first time ever visiting Praiano and this was the perfect place for my trip! Antonio was always very responsive and helpful, I asked him for local recommendations and he helped me right away. i’ve never met another host that was as nice and helpful as Antonio was! He made sure we had the perfect stay outside of just having a lovely airbnb to stay in. The place was so spacious, clean, and pretty! I loved sitting out in the balcony enjoying the views of the ocean. I felt very safe, lots of walkable restaurants/stores, and not a far walk to the main beach. We were greeted during check in and they even came to say goodbye during check out. Overall I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be staying here next time I come to Praiano/Positano.

Our stay was amazing and Salvatore was great! The living space and room was very spacious and comfortable. Check in/out was easy. The location was close to bus stops and easy to get to the Vatican and central Rome. Better than most the hotels in this price point. I would highly recommend. Thanks!

Wonderful stay with Leonardo! It was perfect, short walk from the dock to the flat with my backpack on. Great restaurants downstairs, perfect for exploring Procida.

When so many places on or near the Amari Coast are over crowded Salvatore’s place is a perfect place to find peace and enjoy your vacation. There are plenty of restaurants and a mini market that has anything you need right there. Our family enjoyed the homemade gelato there in Nerano at least once a day. The air conditioning upstairs works great to keep you cool on a hot summers night and the kitchen was stocked with anything we needed. We were able to catch a ferry from the dock to Almalfi and Positano, this was similar to an excursion where it took you and allotted 3 hours and 2 hours at each destination, which was perfect to see it and then escape the crowds back to the quiet beaches in Nerano. The boat got you there in less than an hour where a car would take you 2-3+ hours. I would recommend this home to anyone planning a trip to that region of Italy.

Anna Maria is probably the single best host I’ve had the pleasure of renting from. She is so kind and helpful - she helped us secure luggage transfer from the ferry dock in Amalfi, as well as an early cab to Salerno to catch our train on a Sunday morning, as the ferries didn’t run early enough. She met us when we got to Atrani and walked us through everything. The condo is very well appointed and the two bathrooms were a great benefit, as was the washing machine. It is within easy walking distance of the town square and she provided excellent recommendations for restaurants all along the coast. We spent most of our time in Atrani, as it is smaller and much less crowded. We simply loved our time there. Grazie mille, Anna Maria, for a most perfect stay!

Annamaria was a very generous and helpful host. We got around the language barrier by using the translate app. She gave us helpful tips about good restaurants and bars and provided a map of the city with points of interests marked on it. The location was perfect, very central and with beautiful surroundings. The private balcony was lovely to sit out in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine or two! Annamaria arranged for someone to collect us from the airport when we arrived and a taxi on our last day. We stayed for 10 days and she arranged for the apartment to be cleaned half way through our stay. She also gave us a welcome gift of beautiful pastries! I would recommend staying in Annamaria’s apartment and would definitely like to stay there next time we visit Napoli.

Great spot away from the busyness of Sorrento but only a train station away. It was a lovely, quiet, local way to see this beautiful part of Italy.

We had a pleasant long stay of a month at Paola's. Her apartment is comfortable, pleasant to live in and perfectly located: a few meters from the lungomare and very well served by transport. What can we say about Paola and her husband? Always available, warm and ready to help at any time. Their kindness really marked our stay. Not to mention the magnificent terrace, a real plus! We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful vacation with Laura and Vito, the best hostess and host you can imagine. Even before arrival, I received useful information about the region. Upon arrival, we were picked up at the airport of Salerno. We immediately had a nice chat and in the apartment we got all kinds of tips to discover the region, also on a culinary level :-). Vito is always available and responds immediately to your message. Nearby you have a bakery, fruit shop, supermarket, delicatessen, very good restaurants and bars. The apartment is very spacious and neat with a beautiful view of the sea. You don't need a car here. The bus will take you to the station and the ferry service, or a half-hour walk is also an option. Since we have not yet seen everything of this beautiful region, we will definitely return. Thank you very much Laura and Vito!

Francesco was a great host. Very responsive with great recommendations. Wouldn’t go anywhere else if I came back to Naples.

Carmen is a wonderful and friendly hostess. At check-in, she greeted us personally and with a nice conversation gave valuable tips for our vacation that corresponded to our imagination. With daily exchange of experiences and activities, she showed great interest and always offered us help if we needed it. The apartment was very nice, clean and modern. Although it was only a few minutes' walk to the center, it was still very quiet. On the large terrace, we could have a nice breakfast or even drink a glass of wine and enjoy great views. I can recommend Carmen with all my heart and with a clear conscience.

We had a beautiful stay at Alice’s place! The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and very comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The real highlight, though, was the large terrace—absolutely stunning views and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Francesco met us at check-in and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He answered all our questions and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed—such a genuinely nice person! We would absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay again!

This was our first time visiting Positano. We had an incredible stay at Francesca’s- the location views were breathtaking. Private beach was a huge bonus, a very short walk from apartment and steps down but well worth it. Highly recommend this apartment, would stay again if we’re lucky enough to travel here again!

Alberto's place was a perfect ending to our family trip to Italy! He was a great host and very communitive to helping out with anything we needed. Even before our trip he scheduled all our taxis to and from the Naples. He even helped carry our luggage up to the place. The first night we were exhausted from traveling and I asked him for any dinner recommendations since we did not have any plans. He was so gracious and got us a reservation at Il Tridente which was a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view. We could not thank him enough! The location of his Airbnb is perfect for staying in Positano. Centrally located atop the main shops and restaurants. Everything is easy walking distance to the Airbnb. The view off the balcony is stunning! We even had dinner one night on the balcony which made the stay really special and memorable. Alberto's place was quiet, comfortable, and spotless. We can not recommend his place enough to others and hope to stay here in the near future!

Milena was the best host a guest could ask for although calling her a "host" doesn’t do justice to how genuinely caring and thoughtful she is. From the moment my friend and I arrived, she made us feel completely welcome. It was clear she truly wanted us to have the best experience possible during our stay at her home. She was incredibly responsive to all our questions whether we needed restaurant recommendations or guidance on the best modes of transportation. Milena is a wealth of knowledge and always eager to help. She even went so far as to call restaurants on our behalf and arrange both transportation and reservations. What really stood out was that Milena accompanied us to dinner on two occasions, helping us navigate the menu (including ordering off-menu items) based on what was freshest or a specialty of the chef. She seemed to know everyone both nights, the restaurant owners came over to speak with us, and the whole experience felt incredibly personal and special. Must book her.

Absolutely loved staying here! Gorgeous views! The apartment itself was perfect! So cute and perfect for 3 people. It was also very close to a bunch of different restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

Ambras Villa was exactly as described and it is nice to be at the top and immersed in an Italian neighborhood where there are locals and people in their gardens right outside. I only wish we had an extra day because it felt rushed. Only feedback I have is at previous Airbnb locations I’ve stayed it’s more things left behind from travelers like seasonings and coffee grounds and just more homey but I think their culture is for less clutter. I needed a hair salon because my flat iron wasn’t “dual” anc the voltage fried it which is my fault, but they suggested a salon for me and got me in right away I appreciated that. The deck is amazing and we did enjoy our stay and the views. I know they say be prepared for all the steps but u really can’t fathom it until you walk it, alow extra time when going out so u can enjoy the walk up and down and not rush, and you must utilize the local luggage they suggest.

Vittorio was an amazing host! He met us to check in and provided local recommendations. His space was amazing and close to everything. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We had a wonderful time at Roberta’s place. The location is incredible, and the house is spacious and has everything you might need. As other people have mentioned, you can hear the music from Il Pirata next door at night - for us this was only an issue on the Saturday night when they had a party. Roberta gave us lots of excellent recommendations, we will definitely be back!
