Apartment holiday rentals in Portsea

Had a lovely few days in Gosport for a sailing course staying at the Creamery. Karen was really responsive helpful and friendly. The property was lovely and everything seemed new clean and fresh. Easy to self check in with the lockbox but Karen was happy to meet us there even though we arrived quite late. There are shops etc within walking distance and we didn't need to use the car at all. You can walk down to the waterfront and catch the ferry across to Portsmouth. Even though we were close to town it felt quite peaceful. Thanks for a nice stay.

Thank you Ellie, Christian and Jo for a fantastic hospitality! I’ve booked the apartment for friends who came over from Poland to my wedding in Portsmouth. The apartment was very spacious (bigger than it looked in photos) and they absolutely loved it! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes sea views, walks by the seaside and a lively bar and restaurant area not far from the apartment, but far enough to avoid any noise.

Luke’s place was great. Stayed the night before a ferry crossing to France. All easy and simple and had everything that was needed. Thank you 🙏

Selected Julie's place based on location, basically on the seafront. Apartment was as described with views across the sea. Julie waited for us at the property to process check-in and provide a guide of the apartment. Bedrooms and bathrooms as described and per photos, clean and spacious, with a lovely open living/dining area. No complaints, hope to stay again soon.

Always a cosy and warm stay at spring gardens. Was especially nice getting in from the cold weather to the lovely warm flat. Would recommend to anyone exploring the area.

The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and just as described in the listing. It was the perfect home away from home with the host being incredibly welcoming and responsive. The location was ideal—close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. Great experience and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend

Portsmouth is a great place the flat was perfect for four of us which comprised of me and three 18 year old girls .everything you need is nearby or short walks and plenty to do your bassicly in the middle of it all . We had a great time and this was my first airbnb and was very impressed with the whole experience and great hosting I will be back

Stayed for two nights whilst visiting our son - good location (for us) and close to the beach. Parking was readily available outside the flat (permits supplied). Bed was very comfortable. WiFi worked well.

We visited Southsea for the Victorious Festival and stayed 1 night at Steven's apartment. The apartment is lovely, has everything you need and the location is brilliant. Steven is a friendly and very responsive host and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you again, Steven 😊

Great location in Gosport in walking distance to many interesting places. Great apartment for our needs with 2 kids and a parent visiting friends in the area.

Fabulous central location in Old Portsmouth with the front of the apartment looking directly onto the cathedral, rear, the sea. Lots to do in Old Portsmouth, the hot walls and seafront one minute walk. Central Southsea a short walk. Lovely face to face check in with Karen. Great having everything provided for breakfast! Loved it and will be back 😊 Loved it and will be back.

Just a little bit of confusion with check in - I got stuck in lots of traffic so arrived an hour later than initially planned. The number I was told to call wasn’t available and the other number I was on hold to for 8minutes. Luckily as I arrived at 1733 there ended up being a staff member that arrived and let me in.

Just great. A very short walk from Portsmouth Harbour station, an exceptionally clean and quiet apartment. Convenience store just outside which was very handy. We enjoyed trips to Ryde and Gosport and the location of the apartment made it very easy.

A great place to stay, both inside and out, especially if interested in the historic dockyards, as we were.

Well located flat - 15-20 mins walk to centre of Southsea and 10 mins from Old Southsea. Flat is very large and despite being for 2 people could easily be used for entertaining with a separate dining area and lounge. Emma always communicated quickly. Although no parking immediately outside it was relatively easy to find parking in a nearby street and Emma supplies parking passes for your stay.

Our host was very welcoming. She enabled us to make full uninhibited use of the facilities in her home. She paid attention to our potential needs and adapted to them in a considerate manner. Access to garden space and having a room facing it were beneficial, making the stay quiet. The parking space was a bonus and particularly important for us. We are familiar with the location; it proved to be better than we had anticipated. Local amenities were close by.

A fabulous place! I stayed with my wife and two children (4 and 2) and couldn’t recommend it more. The accommodation was perfect, it’s private, quiet, clean and has everything you need. A well organised pool house, with a kitchen and clean amenities you need. The pool and hot tub was a great addition that the children loved. The house is set in a quiet residential area that was perfect for exploring Winchester and Paultons/Peppa Pig World. Stephanie and her husband were attentive, polite and communicative if we needed anything. Made the 3 nights stay very easy, enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay, the access to the sister hotel’s facilities including indoor and outdoor pools was fabulous and it was very well situated between the beach and the high street right next to the beautiful chine. Loved the Isle with its beautiful botanical gardens, beaches and dinosaur fossils to explore!

What a lovely place and lovely hosts. The bed was so comfortable we slept more than usual, unless it was the lovely relaxing hot tub that tired us. The welcome food and treats and wine was very generous and very welcome. It was a very quiet and relaxing area. We stayed for 6 nights and would highly recommended

Was definitely the ‘Place to be’! Comfortable room in a central area of Southsea (Portsmouth) . 10 mins walk to the seafront and D-day museum and 15 mins walk Fratton train station. Close to supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Thank you so much for been so accommodating. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Southsea and would love to stay again!!

What a wonderful stay, there was lots of instructions so you know exactly how to use everything. The kitchen was well equipped and there was instructions on how to use the microwave/ oven. The location was brilliant, lots of things to do around and a quick walk to the beach. The host has really thought of everything. Highly recommend.

We had a great time at The Gate. The accommodation was well presented and located in a perfect location, very easy to get around and within minutes to the beach. This was particularly great as it is walking distance we managed to convince the kids for all of us to go for morning swims(the weather was great so that helped too). Emma(the host) provided all the information we required so everything was super easy to find in the house. Emma also recommended some fantastic places to eat and dine which we loved. We particularly loved the Travelling Tavern once again within minutes of the house which is great for families and has live music a few days of the week. All around a Great place to stay with a Great Host and a Great location to visit.
