If you’re looking for a trip to the Isle of Wight by hovercraft or ferry, to hit the shops and restaurants at Gunwharf Quays, a cultural experience at the DDay Museum and Historic Dockyard and much more, it’s all close by. Also convenient stop over for ferry to France or if taking a cruise. Sleeps 3 people plus I can accommodate a baby in a cot

Charming Small Home by the Sea

Hi, this is my first home in a superb location just off Castle Road, a 5min walk to both the beach and Southsea common. Some aspects of the house are still a little rough around the edges (walls need some love, not wonderfully furnished) but hopefully this would make a convenient stay for a few nights. Everything in the house is yours to use, I have one king sized bed but realistically you could sleep more if you were happy to supply an airbed.

I really enjoyed staying at Susan's. The street was nice and the house was beautiful and in a very convenient location. Susan was friendly and had some great tips about Southsea and Portsmouth to share. Everything in the area was either in walking distance or a quick bus ride. It was so nice that Susan had even made a shelf in the fridge for me, and a cupboard for food items - a really nice touch.

Ocean Suite- Once Upon A Tide in Southsea

We arrived later than expected at 10.00pm however Natalie was on-hand to advise us on where to park, as well as where to get the last drink! We also left very early for the early ferry to France, but we slept well in the comfortable bed.

Just a little bit of confusion with check in - I got stuck in lots of traffic so arrived an hour later than initially planned. The number I was told to call wasn’t available and the other number I was on hold to for 8minutes. Luckily as I arrived at 1733 there ended up being a staff member that arrived and let me in.
