My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

Thank you so much for such a warm and welcoming stay! From the moment we arrived, Guiseppe made us feel completely at home - meeting us in person and even helping with parking on a busy road was so kind and above and beyond. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches, from the treats left for us to the fresh fruit, it was a real taste of Sicilian hospitality! Guiseppe was always available and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The terrace was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. We also loved how close it was to the centre of Noto, just a short walk to great restaurants and the charming old town. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone.

Nice fishing village with many restaurants. Relatively expensive because very touristy. But that now applies to all of Italy. The apartment has everything you need, and the location is good. The free parking in front of the house was once occupied. Therefore, we had to pay for the large parking space that is right in front of the apartment and the sea. We paid €5 for half the day.

The place was wonderful. You come into the apartment and immediately feel comfortable. Above all, the view is an absolute hit and here can spend a romantic evening with wine and cheese. Even though the roads are a bit narrow for a car and you usually have to look for a parking spot, it's very helpful as the place is very high up. In the evening you like to take a small hike, but especially with suitcases, a car is worth it here. I highly recommend the RAPPA wine bar nearby. We will be back

the location is exceptional here - we walked 50m to the eastern side of the island to swim every morning, and were then able to enjoy the afternoon sun and sunset from the balcony in the afternoons. the apartment itself is nice but a little dated in decor and could have been more stocked. we would have liked to cook, for example, but there was nothing at all -- oil, salt, etc. neither was there washing machine detergent. you're paying for the location and access, however, and on that front it was perfect. check-in was easy, the pin and lockbox made it simpler to leave a key when exploring and swimming, and the host was very helpful and kind. we'd come back!

Everything as per the description but one point worth noting. The internet access was outstanding. Basically 800 mb down and 300 mb down. Absolutely fantastic connection is you're having a working vacation and need access to video meetings and large files.

This AirBNB is right in the heart of all that Ortigia has to offer, however it is tucked away one street from a main thoroughfare so you can be out and about in literally 60 seconds. Then, you have a beautiful sanctuary to come home to. The furnishing were great, and the architecture of the apartment made you feel like you were somewhere very special. The beds and pillows, all 4 of us agreed, were outstanding. Easy to fall a sleep, and wake up rested. There is a living room and eating area off the kitchen, with gave us plenty of space to stretch out some everyone could get alone time as needed (we love each other, but traveling for 2 weeks internationally... you know how it is). Outside the door is a courtyard with fragrant climbing flowers and palm trees. All the conveniences you need -- kitchen appliances, washer, coffee maker (although you'll want to grab a cappuccino and sit at a nearby cafe). When we come back to Ortigia, we're staying here.

We stayed in Sharon and Carmelo's apartment for about a week: equipped with air conditioning and a bright, windowed bathroom. Two separate bedrooms to ensure privacy and, last but not least, a splendid flat terrace apartment where you can dine, cook with the barbecue and, if necessary, wash and hang out your clothes. The photographs do not do justice to the beauty of the apartment! Sharon also got us a parasol to use on the beautiful beaches in the area. Pachino as a center offers little to nothing, except the strategic position to reach beaches and baroque cities in a short or very short time. Absolutely recommended

Rossella is a very friendly, straightforward and flexible host. We felt very comfortable in their place. The apartment is small but offers everything needed for two people. The sloping roof gives the apartment a great charm. Breathtaking and super beautiful is the large, sunny terrace. The sea, despite the second row of streets, is almost within easy reach due to the height of the terrace (3rd floor). Within walking distance are shopping as well as the beautiful village center of Marina di Ragusa with many restaurants, bars and gelaterias. The apartment on the third floor is only accessible by stairs (the last one a little narrow and steep). You should be good on foot - then that's fine. The apartment is huge and in a great central location. We walked everywhere. It's surrounded by fab bars and restaurants. The view from the small balconies is beautiful and we loved seeing the sea through the sitting room windows when we came in the front door. As someone else mentioned, there has obviously been a water leak at some point which could do with sorting and a couple of other areas could do with some tlc. Overall, we loved the apartment and would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tuccia's place. The apartment is in a perfect location for enjoying the nearby beach and visiting the surrounding area. The two terraces are a great place to enjoy a dinner in the sun or simply lounge outside. The kitchen is equipped exceptionally well for its size and is really useful for making a dinner occasionally. Finally, Tuccia and her husband Angelo are the kindest hosts we've met and really make this place stand out. We can only recommend a stay here and will surely be back when we're in Sicily again!

We spent ten days at La Casa del Fotografo and loved it. The apartment was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. We liked staying in Borgata Santa Lucia – it’s a short walk from Ortigia and all the sights of Siracusa. We immediately felt at home there, and Marco and his team made sure we had plenty of recommendations of places to see, things to do and restaurants to try. They were always available to answer our questions. We really loved the rooftop terrace – we ate breakfast and dinner there often. The apartment is spacious, spotless and very comfortable. It was a great place to have an stress-free vacation.

A lovely apartment with good facilities and furnishings, wonderfully easy use of a private beach and not too far away to drive to the restaurants and sights of Syracuse.

This is hands down one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfectly set up for guests - clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The highlight is definitely the balcony, from there you have a stunning view of Catania and Etna. The location is ideal for exploring the region, with Taormina, Noto, Syracuse, Ragusa all within easy reach (1 to 1.5h drive, a car is a must!). The host was incredibly friendly. He gave us lots of tips for the region and communication was very easy. If you want to visit the south and/or east of Sicily, this is definitely a top place to stay!

We felt right at home, got great tips for restaurants and excursions and enjoyed the peace and the wonderful sea in front of the door. We recovered very well without getting bored, you can relax very well here, Robin was an attentive and relaxed host, thank you for everything and greetings to the dogs, we will definitely come back.

We had an outstanding experience here. Was excellent. Giuseppe was so welcoming and oriented us to the area and gave us recommendations. He really took pride in his and had a great personal touch. The space is very large and airy, I would say here without hesitation in the future.

Very convenient location near the Main Street. Apartment was recently renovated with quality finishings. Kitchen was clean, bedroom was comfortable. Highly recommend!

Very nice setting, quiet, Roberto and Erik his son are very responsive and very kind. I would recommend this place for discovering Syracuse and its surroundings.

Marta was a wonderful host - extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, clean aapartment. Beautiful views of the sea and we loved the balcony. It was situated right next to the lively and fun market with lots of good restaurant choices. Everything was walkable on this gorgeous island of Ortygia. We would stay here again!

A very spacious complex with large swimming pool and good facilities. We were with 2 families incl. 4 children (9-15 years) there. We had everything we needed to stay there all day. Well-known excursion destinations (Etna, Syracuse, Catania, Taorminar) can be reached about 1 hour.

Great location Comfortable space

The apartment is bright, modern and very well furnished. The landlord was super nice and helpful. The center is within walking distance. Perfect starting point in all directions. The bus stop/bus station is right at the house and can be heard from the terrace. Basically, Sicily has a massive problem with garbage disposal, which is unfortunately clearly visible in some neighborhoods.
