The house is perfect, very beautiful, everything was impeccable, it has several household items, the bed is comfortable, the pool is excellent, it has an outdoor kitchen that makes all the difference, they were wonderful days, Mr. Arcilio and Daniela are incredible people, my family felt at home, the best house we've ever stayed in, we'll be back for sure.

We had a great time at this home. We liked how peaceful and yet walkable it was to things we needed. We loved making our own meals and enjoying them near the windows. We even had port waiting for us when we arrived, a very nice touch.

We had such a lovely stay here! The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and the stay is even better than the photos. We played tennis, minigolf, jeu de boules and more. We also had a swim in the nice pool. The highlight is the terrace with the amazing view, the outdoor kitchen and the sweetest dogs. I can highly recommend this place, we will come back for sure!

The whole place is amazing, very quiet and peaceful, good for a nice vacation or a quick getaway! The property is well maintained and there’s a lot of different things to do inside. The host is very nice and really helpful, it was great and we are happy to come back again!

Fantastic stay at Ricardo's villa! Beautiful pool and villa setup in an incredibly secluded part of the countryside. We went as a group of eight in our late twenties - we didn't have a car so Ricardo organised a taxi for us to get around that was incredibly helpful, including to get down into the village to visit the INCREDIBLE Tasquinha do Tio Miguel! We will be back! Xxx

Abi and Regina are exceptional hosts who made our stay memorable. We especially enjoyed the tour of the animation museum by Abi which was fascinating The property is very lovely, the flower and vegetable gardens are incredible and the whole ambience is very relaxing. A perfect place to stay for several days. We thoroughly recommend staying here and look forward to returning

Five stars to Casa de Cardido and to Rui and Alexandra for being wonderful hosts. We were a little late checking in, but Rui greeted us with a smile and a very generous tabua of local cheeses and meats. The hosts go above anything expected, with a sound system at the pool, exercise equipment, and fresh bread delivered daily. The house is a traditional Portuguese home - and it feels like a “home” not a rental. We spent two weeks here and it felt like staying with family. I noticed that one review commented on how close the highway is. Please know this is not a problem. You can see the highway when approaching the home from the road, but you cannot hear it and it does not interfere with the experience. This is very high quality stay with caring and involved hosts that will make sure you have all you need. I highly recommend.

A few highlights: the kitchen is fully equipped, the space is family friendly, and the landscape is amazing. This is my favorite airbnb booking, and I travel a lot. Amazing place. We've spent a month there and everything was perfect. Nuno is very helpful and a friendly host. The place itself was above all of our expectations: fantastic view, super clean and comfortable. Felt right like home.

All I can say is wow! We spent 11 days staying at Adriano’s apartment and it felt like home! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in such a well equipped Air BnB. If you could think of it, Adriano had it. In the bathroom there was shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer and hair straighteners. In the kitchen there was every utensil you could think of and more, I think you could cook a full Sunday roast dinner and have every pan and dish required! We are a family of four, with children aged 5 and 7. They made the most of the swimming pool during our stay and the beach. The pool is cool but refreshing. The sea was like ice but we made good games of jumping the waves and splashing one another. The beach is less than a five minute walk from the apartment and is a must during your stay, even if it’s just to watch the surfers fight the waves. It’s a very peaceful beach! Adriano is a great host and very helpful. We will be looking to stay again if we come back to the area!

We loved staying here. It had a brilliant view of Porto and we were able to walk there easily (on either the high or low bridge) as well as around the local area and to the river and restaurants and Port cellars there. The apartment is spacious and really well appointed with a very comfortable sofa and a throw to keep you warm. The main bed was super comfortable- a rare find. The apartment was nestled right in the Roman arches with a road above us and one below. Being a lighter sleeper I closed the back windows and used the fan for air movement and to block out road noises. This compromise was worth it for the view!! Diana was a great host, responding quickly to questions and providing weather forecasts. We highly recommend Porto and this apartment

Beautiful family cottage in an area that is not so touristy, just outside the well kept town of Cinfaes. Accommodation is rustic but still with all amenities you could want, so it’s perfect. Paulo is very kind and responsive. No issues.

Beautiful, one-of-a-kind space, exactly as shown in photos. Well equipped small kitchen. Very clean & comfortable. Short walk to central river area, but because of this it offers a quiet & private feel (particularly this room because of the direction it faces away from the street). Also, great supermarket right around the corner. As long as you are OK with stairs and a bit of walking (and don't require a river view), the place is FANTASTIC!

"Like a big hidden object!" - We have described and enjoyed the magnificent view over the roofs of the port wine cellars, Porto's old town and the Douro again and again. The location of the apartment on the 4th floor in Vila Nova de Gaia is absolutely perfect and we just couldn't get enough! In the evening, there was (live) music from the WOW. OK, a bit loud at times, as well as the street below, but wonderfully lively. 😉 Everything was there, everything thought of, everything extremely comfortable, (beds great!) incl. various small attentions and Brenda was always directly available, inquired about us - great! We were able to park safely in the guarded parking lot directly at the house (€25/24 hours), also super nice. Our absolute highlight for our round trip kick-off! Thank you! ❤️

The accommodation was exquisite! Everything was fire clean and even thought of extras that exceeded my expectations! She was super responsive, was super flexible with my arrival time as I had an early flight I was able to arrive at 11: 30. Super nice! All kinds of sights are easily accessible and even easy to walk! That's what I mainly did. If you are looking for a place to stay for your stay in Porto, look no further this is undoubtedly the best choice as a solo traveler or as a couple! Regards, Cora

This apartment is in an amazing location! The neighborhood is extremely walkable and very close to many attractions as well as the São Bento train station and the Trindade metro station. Joana and her team are super helpful and responsive and provided us with a great list of recommendations for things to do, see, and eat.

Great apartment in the heart of Porto! Close to lots of touristic places! Apartment is clean, wonderful furniture and decor. Air conditioning working perfectly! 1 min walking from private parking. Perfect location!!
