Farmstay holiday rentals in Porto District

Ines and her mother looked after us incredibly well during our stay. We were welcomed to the property by the friendly face of Ines' mother and she showed us around all of the property and grounds. Once we had the tour and knew where everything was, the hosts vacated the property and left us in privacy. The property is stunning and the pictures truly do not do it justice. The pool was a sun trap, the grounds we beautiful, we even forgot to buy lemons for cocktails but the property even has a lemon and orange tree to solve our problem. There is nothing that this property doesn't have. If it's not there, you don't need it. Thank you so much to everyone at Quinta de Gatao for looking after us. We will be back for sure.

A great house in a beautiful location where you can unite with the mother nature. Américo and Rosalina are very nice hosts. They waited for our late arrival at 10pm to greet us and show the place, making the check-in process as smooth as possible. The house and the yard are very cozy, having a lot of lovely little details. The surrounding nature is gorgeous; the pictures do not show the real beauty. You can see the Milky Way in the night sky, and the morning fog covering the mountains is just stunning. We got the fresh bread in the morning at the gate, which was very delicious. Driving to Porto, Pinhão, and Guimaraes, is about one hour as part of the road goes via a serpentine road with amazing views. We were a company of four adults and two kids, and everything was great. The kids had fun swimming in the pool. I wish we could stay longer at Américo's place. We definitely highly recommend his house!

Très bon accueil par Antonio ainsi que par sa mère, très à l'écoute, prêts à rendre service et parlant, entre autres, très bien le Français. Petit déjeuner d'accueil et café très appréciables, bonne situation géographique par rapport aux différents sites à visiter. Produit conforme à l'annonce avec un bon rapport qualité/prix.

Casa muy bonita y muy bien cuidada, situada dentro de una finca con amplias zonas verdes. Es cierto que esta al lado de un polígono industrial, pero cuando estás en la casa es como si estuvieras en medio del campo. La ubicación es perfecta para conocer el norte de Portugal. Muy cerca de Braga, Guimaraes y Oporto, así como de otros pueblos y ciudades muy bonitos. Manuel y Lidia son unos anfritiones increibles. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa y nos ayudaron con todo lo que les pedimos. Incluso nos regalaron frutas de su finca y una planta para nuestro jardín :) Sin duda repetiríamos alojamiento si volvemos a visitar dicha zona, y lo recomendaremos a nuestros amigos.

Osvaldo, Madalena e Carla, 3 anfitriões super simpáticos e prestáveis que proporcionaram uma estadia incrível, sempre preocupados em colaborar para que não faltasse nada. O espaço é muito aprazível, constituido por casas rústicas numa quinta no meio da natureza num ambiente de tranquilidade perfeitos para quem gosta de relaxar longe da confusão das grandes cidades. um ótimo pequeno-almoço, uma piscina maravilhosa com vistas excelentes, um rio à mão de semear, percursos para caminhadas à beira rio, bons vinhos, etc... Tudo perfeito! Um enorme obrigado Osvaldo, Madalena e Carla. Bem hajam.

Beautiful mountain views. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy, so we couldn’t hike as much as we would have liked and could only dream of using the pool—but we still loved the area. The nearby town had stores and restaurants, which was convenient. The cottage is well-equipped, and the AC was helpful since the weather was cool. There probably wasn’t enough hot water due to the rainy conditions. Other than that, we were happy with our stay!

Maison exceptionnelle avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. Très propre, très bonne literie et excellent oreillers. C'est un bonheur de manger sur le "pont" entre les 2 parties de la maison et de voir le coucher du soleil lors du diner. Tous les équipements sont fonctionnels et il y a un grand nombre de couverts, assiettes etc. on ne manque de rien. L'environnement est juste magique. Une vue incroyable, un jardin de plusieurs hectares avec plein d'arbres fruitiers et un beau potager. Nous avons mangé des concombres, courgettes, citrons, pamplemousses et oranges durant tout le séjour. La piscine est très bien et rafraichissante. Une fois dans la propriété nous avions l'impression d'être seul au monde. Très calme et très reposant. Nous sommes à quelques minutes des commerces (continent, Intermarché et pingo doce). Carlos est un hôte très accueillant et d'une grande gentillesse. Il nous a accordé toutes nos sollicitations. Un grand merci à lui. Nous reviendrons à coup sûr.

Es war dort sehr ruhig, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Adoramos! Muito bom para relaxar no jacuzzi, como para passearmos. Fomos recebidos pela D. Luísa, que se mostrou sempre preocupada com a estadia. Futuramente iremos voltar! Recomendo!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad! Zeer geschikte locatie voor grote groep vrienden. Tiago is een goede host die heel erg behulpzaam was bij het vinden van restaurants en activiteiten. Absolute aanrader.

Petit havre de paix à seulement 20mn en train de Porto, en plein dans la ville de Valongo, vous aurez donc accès à tout ce qu'il faut (épiceries et commerces). La localisation est parfaite car malgré cette proximité avec la ville, une fois dans le logement, vous ne pouvez pas être plus dans la nature. La vue donne sur les animaux (canards, poules, chevaux) et la nature et nous avons eu la chance d'avoir le soir et le matin la visite du très sympathique chien des propriétaires.

Super séjour avec nos deux chiennes ! Le paysage est magnifique. La maison pleine d'histoires. La piscine est un vrai plus. Le voisinage est très amical. Il y a deux nombreuses balades à faire dans les environs et beaucoup avec des coin de baignade. On recommande a 100% !

Sencillo, fácil, limpio, buena comunicación y tranquilidad. 10/10 recomendable.

This home is absolutely beautiful, we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Everything we could possibly need was there, from a fully equipped kitchen to thoughtful touches throughout the house and garden. It was spotless, and we especially appreciated the fresh citrus and eggs from the birds next to the property waiting for us. Carolina and her husband are exceptional hosts, warm, generous, and incredibly helpful. All their recommendations were perfect. Do note that a car is essential, and confident driving is a must in the area. The game room with the pool table was a great bonus, especially on rainy days. The nature, the views, and the garden were all stunning. Our only regret was not staying longer.

Foi a segunda vez que escolhemos este espaço e foi excelente! Sentimo-nos em casa! Usufruir de tanta natureza e animais, da calma e do conforto! É sem dúvida um local muito bom para descansar e para bons momentos sozinha ou em família! De certeza que iremos voltar! E a Susana é muito simpática e prestável! Gostámos muito!

La communication avec Paulo a été très fluide, nous avons reçu un très bel accueil, il a été très sympathique, nous a donné les bonnes adresses autour. La maison est fidèle aux photos et la vue est à couper le souffle. Tout l’équipement nécessaire est disponible, cafetière, casseroles, draps piscine, clim hyper agréable par cette période et chambres hyper grandes et agréable. Nous avons dîné deux fois dans leur restaurant juste en bas, je vous le recommande, c’était vraiment très bon! Rapport qualité / prix parfait! Nous y retournerons sans problèmes!

We absolutely loved staying here. Ricardo was super friendly and helpful. Quinta Freiera is a stunning farm with loads of grape vines, lemon trees, orange trees, passion fruit, etc. It was so special to stay in a house that has been in his family for over 200 years. I highly recommend this quinta!

Quinta espetacular. Todos os espaços eram cómodos, desde os quartos à sala e cozinha, como também o espaço de lazer fora de casa. Super arrumada, com vistas incríveis para as margens do Rio Douro. Boas áreas de convívio para se disfrutar com a família ou amigos. Anfitrião sempre prestável e em comunicação sobre alguma dúvida de restaurantes nos arredores. Quinta com direito a pão e a bolos fresquinhos logo pela manhã, pois a padeira vai à quinta entregar.

Schön eingerichtetes, sauberes Haus mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Lage ist äußerst ruhig sodass man das Gefühl hat das einzige Haus im Umkreis zu sein. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und der Pool groß genug zum Schwimmen. Die Kommunikation mit Carla gestaltet sich unkompliziert und freundlich, wir hatten jederzeit das Gefühl uns bei Problemen an sie wenden zu können. Wir haben jede Sekunde genossen und es gibt nicht das Geringste auszusetzen. Sollten wir uns wieder für Portugal entscheiden wird die Unterkunft und Carla wieder unsere erste Wahl sein.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, un très bel accueil à notre arrivée de sa part. Antonio nous a donné de très bons conseils afin de visiter Porto et ses environs. je recommande !!

Beautiful tranquil little converted farmhouse. All the amenities you need, lovely pool and very friendly dog. It is walkable to supermarket and local bars or a cab to Guimarães is very cheap. Our host was very friendly and helpful throughout.

Beter dan dit huis kan je in Porto niet vinden. Alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd. En dat ook nog eens met een zeer uitgebreid ontbijt gemaakt door Maria. Het zwembad is prachtig en ligt in een grote tuin. Alles is met liefde verzorgd en aangelegd. Echt een aanrader dit huis.

If you are trying to find an authentic and unique place to stay, you should definitely go to A Padaria Farmhouse. My family and I stayed in the house for 9 days and it was so relaxing to live for a while in the middle of nowhere. The house is beautifully decorated and the choice of the materials was made with lots of love. We particularly appreciated the choice of Portuguese brands.
