Great place! We really enjoyed our stay, so convenient to Halifax for the end of our two-week trip in NS. The space was very roomy -- two bedrooms and two baths plus an extra double bed in living room, many sitting spaces in and out, a fully stocked kitchen with great options and many appliances (many other airbnb kitchens barely have more than an oil (if that!) and salt and pepper shakers!), and two private decks outside. The location was the best -- views of the bay nearby, great walks in the neighborhood, a large quiet ocean beach at the end of the road, and a couple small towns with shops, etc. at the top of road. The house itself is not in top-notch shape, and the eclectic grounds might also not be for everyone, but for us, it was a perfect three days, and we appreciated Tracy's quiet but attentive presence.

We had a wonderful stay at Tiffany's place! It was a nice and peaceful weekend - we were able to sit out on the lake, read, write, and have a lovely time. Tiffany and her family were fantastic; Tiffany was very communicative and wanted to ensure we had the best time. Absolutely fabulous. We would definitely stay again!

Low Tide - Coastal Suite at Lawrencetown Beach

This is a fantastic beach house. The lovely decor/furnishings and the deck with water, marsh and hillside views all said “you are at the beach!” Located at the eastern end, we had the beach to ourselves most days but could easily walk to the more public west end via sand or the recreation/bike path. Our party of four (2 couples) had plenty of room to spread out. We like to cook when traveling and the kitchen had virtually everything you’d want. The owners were in the main house while we were there, but our space felt super private. They were wonderful people who we got to know a bit, which was nice. We will stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Doucette Lodge. The setting is beautiful on Lake Echo and the home is lovely. We enjoyed the comfort of the home and all the amenities it offered. It is conveniently located near the hwy to both Dartmouth and Halifax and a 10 minute drive to the ocean. We have been there before and plan to return. Nicole and Peter are very friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. We would highly recommend this home to anyone who enjoys a peaceful surrounding and beautiful scenery. Thank you Nicole and Peter.
