Highly recommend this Quinta! The manager and staff are so kind and go out of their way to accommodate. They allows us to change our dates at the last minute and were very flexible w/ check in and check out. The grounds are very peaceful but still close to main towns to explore - we loved Estremoz. All three villas / apartments are well appointed - nice furniture, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. They are basically brand new and a great way to spend a peaceful holiday. A highlight was visiting Estevan restaurant- a must do when you’re in the area! We hope to be back again .. it was such a lovely stay!

The house is a dream! It has everything it takes! the terrain around and the views are incredible... Outside that has tradition and very attentive details! Acodar with the sound of birds and herds of sheep is from another world! The space outside is also very well taken care of and is pleasant to be with family or with friends!

The place was beautiful with amazing amenities. It was very relaxing and in a good location, not far from the main town. I would stay again.

STRONGLY RECOMMEND I highly recommend this lovely and charming place. A true gem in Alentejo, surrounded by nature. Clean and spacious space on the inside and large garden, bbq space and terrace outside. The lovely neighbors would make your experience even better with their knowledge, availability and care. I recently stayed at this Airbnb and had a wonderful experience. The check-in procedure was smooth and hassle-free, thanks to the very friendly and efficient staff. The apartment is well equipped, catering to both short and long-term stays, although it only has a microwave for heating up food, making it more suitable for those who prefer dining out. The location is excellent, being very close to the city centre yet situated in a quiet area. While parking is possible, it’s advisable to use the central parking area as the streets are quite narrow. Although the apartment is not fully soundproof, I found the neighbours above to be quiet, ensuring a peaceful stay. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and would highly recommend this Airbnb.

This location is perfect if you want to drive and spend a few days exploring the Alentejo. Multiple towns are nearby. Evora is a great all day trip, including the megaliths outside of town, and you get to leave all the guided groups behind. Elvas is a wonderful town very near the border with Spain. Villa Real is a gem. Arraiolos is known for weaving rugs. Evoramonte is close by and has terrific views. All of these towns are hilltop towns with castles. The regional wine is terrific, the cork industry is fascinating, the olives, oranges, and lemons, are great, and you are in the middle of the area of marble quarrying. The towns are predominantly full of white buildings with mustard or blue trim and lot and lots of marble. Fica’s place is comfortable, quiet, and has restaurants, bakeries, drugstores, and small shops just steps away.

We stayed in the “wall”. It is a small but spectacular house, inside one of the most quiet and secluded areas of the castle. It has a walled courtyard, which for us was an added value since we also took our bige. In fact, ALs that accept animals are always to be congratulated because they suffer from the scarcity. The house is in an area where it is difficult to go by car (although it is possible but the streets are too narrow) and Mr Luís was very helpful to take us (to us, to our bags and to our dog) to the house at check in, which was a great help. Even so, walking access is fast. We recommend it.

Hi guys:) The house is located in the privacy of the countryside, amidst nature. The nature around is really beautiful. We liked everything in the house.

I just loved staying at Casa Verde. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a very scenic location. From the front windows you can see the castle, and from the back roof patio you can see in the other direction, out to the rest of the village and surrounding countryside. Parking on the street in front of the property was easy. You can walk up to the castle and it is an excellent way to spend a quiet morning. It is a short drive to Estremoz for plenty of choices in grocery shopping, and we enjoyed many day trips to the surrounding historic towns and villages. All in all, a wonderful base for exploring this region that is so full of interesting history. Cannot recommend this enough!

The house has a fabulous situation, with excellent views of the Dam and a cozy balcony even on rainy days. The fact that we can even park the door helps with luggage. And the surrounding area is really nice, with an excellent swimming pool and the dam itself, both good for refreshing baths, which the heat here tightens in the summer... The owner was very friendly and available for any request from us.

Wonderful location just around the corner from the castle. Maria was very flexible, communicative and kind! highly recommend
