Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Portalegre District

The house very clean, tidy, with everything we need in the kitchen and the rest of the house The owners are very friendly and very helpful! We felt right at home and so do our big guys! It has a huge area, the pool is great!

We truly loved our time here and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. One of the many highlights was sharing meals out on the deck, enjoying the company of old friends, a glass of Alentejo wine, and the stunning views across the reservoir. The house is well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, chairs, tables, and cookware for a large group, and the kitchen has everything you need if you enjoy cooking. We also made good use of the grill and the pizza oven! Outside, the pool is set in a beautifully maintained and private garden. While you can hear a little road noise at rush hour from below, most of the time it feels wonderfully peaceful and secluded — like your own private world. The house was spotless when we arrived. Marina was an excellent host: always quick to respond to any questions, and when we had an issue with the washing machine, she had an electrician out to fix it straight away. Marina's house was perfect for us, we only wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved the stay. It is possible to have peace and fun at the same time through contact with nature, whether through the beautiful landscape or even the dam. André is extremely attentive and Montezinho has everything a guest needs to enjoy their stay. All the items in the house are extremely tasteful, which allowed us to feel at home.

Celia and Sílvia are amazing hosts. They answered all our questions before we arrived, welcomed us warmly, and even had a wonderful gift waiting for us. Throughout our stay, they were always available whenever we needed anything. Sílvia shared the fascinating, centuries-old history of "Monte Mantacães" and their vision for its future. The house is excellent—beautifully renovated while preserving its traditional charm, and very comfortable. It’s spacious enough for a family of four and has all the amenities one could wish for. The surroundings are also fantastic, perfect for peaceful walks, stunning sunsets, and a lovely spot to enjoy your morning coffee or relax in the afternoon. A definite 5-star stay that we highly recommend!

Carmen and her mother were excellent hosts, super accessible and extremely friendly. The house is very beautiful, in a super quiet area where peace and silence reign. Repeating no doubt.

When things are done with love and dedication, it shows, and that's what you'll find in Márcio and Natália's house. The house is very clean, with beautiful decor and with all the luxury of detail to spend a stay as if you were at home. The garden is impressive, a paradise of nature, with a stream that passes through it that will make you feel very relaxed. A wonderful environment, surrounded by nature and with very beautiful routes for walks. The hosts are very thoughtful, every morning they left us their fairies several surprises that we loved, they treated us as if they had known us all their lives. We have nothing but words of gratitude for them. We would recommend this accommodation a thousand times. Thank you so much for everything, I'm sure we'll see each other again.

Very quiet house, with all the necessary amenities and a beautiful landscape setting. My youngest son loved to play in the garden. Attentive and proactive host. Great option for a few days of rest. To be repeated.

The landlords living upstairs were extraordinarily nice and helpful. Lots of helpful tips and in the morning even fresh buns were delivered by the baker.

A wonderful weekend, we ended up staying another day, and it was totally worth it!! Reka and James are wonderful, kind and kind people. We will definitely repeat! I recommend to everyone that you want to rest and recharge batteries. It's truly a pearl in our dear Alentejo 🫶
