Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Port Royal

Location was great! We brought our own bikes to ride the Spanish Moss Trail with our kids. There was a trail head a few blocks away. We even rode bikes into town one day. Beds were very comfortable. Everyone slept well. Open floor plan was great. Kids could watch a show while parents made a meal. Susanna proactively reached out and provided directions and recommendations for activities and restaurants right before the trip. We had no need to reach out during our stay. We had a great time at the Chapel and highly recommend it!

What a delight it was to stay in this beautifully restored and well-appointed home… so charming, pristine, comfortable, and peaceful. The design and amenities are outstanding. Communication with our host, Dorothy, was excellent and parking and entry were a breeze. The house is located on a busy street, but that was not an issue for us. Once we walked through the door, it felt private, refreshing, and serene. Our experience was just wonderful and this place is a true gem!

This was a great little place to stay while we were in town. The shower was fantastic and everything was superclean and homey. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The only small things are that the toilet is extremely close to the cabinet so not super comfy and the main living room area was not your typical couch and chair situation. It was more of a daybed. That would have been a super spot for children to sleep if we had brought any though. All in all it was a nice place to stay.

So beautiful and so peaceful! There were three of us for the weekend and we fit comfortably. Very quiet, close to multiple beaches. Maurice was very responsive and super helpful as well. Highly recommend, we will be back!

We absolutely enjoyed at stay at The Purple Cottage! It was just the right about of space for the 2 of us staying for our new Marine! The cottage was a straight shot to MCRD (about 10-15 minutes) for our very early mornings and in a nice central location to explore other parts of Beaufort. We enjoyed walking to the downtown area exploring the shops, restaurants, and waterfront. Even though we didn’t require much, Nadine was super helpful and accommodating with the check-in process and let us know that we could reach out at any time if we needed anything. I would highly recommend Nadine’s Purple Cottage to anyone and if I am ever in the area again, it would be my go to!

Adam is a very attentive host! His communication was prompt, professional, and very clear. He has a heightened concern for his guests comfort and satisfaction. He went out of his way and openly communicated to correct an issue caused by previous guests in an effort to provide us with a wonderful experience. THANK YOU, ADAM! Cozy Beaufort Retreat was a perfect place to accommodate our family as we were there for Marine Corps graduation. It is an easy drive to Parris Island, in a quiet neighborhood, and a very clean / comfortable / cozy place to stay. The attention to detail regarding amenities was exceptional! Thanks again, Adam!

This home is exactly as described in the listing. John was very attentive and responded to any questions I had immediately. The house was very clean and well maintained. They did not spare any expense when it comes to the mattresses, pillows and linens used on the bed. AMAZING nights sleep each night we were there. The neighborhood is very quite and comfortable. You can walk just about everywhere! The boardwalk nature trail is worth the visit. Super cute and if you love birds and just nature in general this is a nice little gem to visit which is right up the street in walking distance. I would definitely stay in this home again. It was perfect for us!

I could not have been happier with this place. I’m a travel nurse and stayed here for a week until my long-term rental was ready. I wish I could’ve stayed here longer. The location was perfect.

We loved our stay here! A wonderful location close to restaurants and Hilton Head beaches. The place itself is so cute and clean with really thoughtful, modern touches. Can’t say enough great things about this apartment. It was exactly as described, and it was so clean. The location was wonderful. The views were spectacular and that sunrise in the morning was incredible. There was a great little coffee shop/sandwich shop on one side of us and Dockside seafood restaurant on the other side of us. We will definitely be returning guests.

Great stay! Christian had everything needed for a perfect beach vacation. Christian was great at communicating. The Airbnb was spacious and clean. I will be staying at his Airbnb in the future!

We enjoyed our stay in Bluffton at the carriage house! It was a great home base for trips to HHI beaches and a great location to explore Old Town Bluffton. The bed was cozy, welcome cookies were delicious, and you can tell they take good care of the space. If we are in Bluffton again I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Also - Chrissy was super helpful and responsive when we had a date change when planning our trip. Thank you!

Wonderful location with a second floor view of the ocean! Everything you will need for your vacation is there. Easy walk to the beach or the marsh. Definitely the best value for our family of two on Fripp!!!

This location is magical-- somehow right in the middle of where you want to be, but yet very private all at the same time <3 Exactly as pictured, maybe even better- in the prettiest location in the area- totally walkable for restaurants and shopping. you can walk in the beautiful neighborhood with it's drippy Spanish moss and just movie worthy homes. Ellen is just a jewel of the South, so sweet and kind- super informative. Chicago Mike was super nice and friendly- We also loved Kipp (the cat) and enjoyed our mornings with him too. This is a great location that we almost don't want to leave. We would adore to return .

We enjoyed it. Great location. Very responsive host. Granddaughter and great-granddaughter especially enjoyed the tennis courts, beach and pool. Restaurants and dolphin cruise, horseback riding and golf all readily accessible. Accomodations worked well for us, for our daughter when she visited, and for our granddaughter and great-granddaughter when they visited.

Stayed here for a long weekend with my two adult daughters. Perfect spot to access the beach, lovely resort with a restaurant on site, and the town trolley was super convenient to take us to local shopping and food. We had one issue with the AC during our stay, and Mike was quick to respond and get it resolved.

Perfect Airbnb for five nights in Hilton Head. Would definitely visit again! Anne gave clear and detailed instructions.
