This is THE MOST amazing location. Pictures do not do this place justice. It felt like we were staying in a Jane Austen novel. Christian and his wife were the sweetest, most patient and helpful hosts. The place was SPOTLESS, the atmosphere was completely idyllic. It was better than expected, we couldn't believe it when we arrived. This was the true, original kind of Airbnb experience. Personal, comfortable, local. Do not hesitate to book. We wanted to just stay and rest and hang out here for a week. Christian went above and beyond to help us when we had some issues with our car. They stopped by to say goodbye and see us off. It will be our favorite memory from our trip .

Theo's house is very well located just a few hours' drive from Paris. It is a warm house, not far from Étretat and Honfleur. The kitchen is well-equipped. We recommend it!

Particularly well equipped house (kitchen, garden), children were happy with the swing and the arcade terminal. It is also very well located, quiet and close to Omaha Beach. What a fantastic little gite for exploring the D-Day beaches for a week. The gite is in a great location, feels very rural which we love although it is only 10 minutes from the nearest town of Carentan where you can get food etc.. Great central location to explore the beaches and museums etc. The gite is very well equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay, bonus that Christian also provided a high chair and travel cot for our 1 year old.. Will be back for sure on our next trip as there is so much more we’d like to see..

We had a great time with the family. Stephan welcomed us very warmly with a great island meal. Very large, and spacious accommodation, it offers a lot of activities, billiards / foosball / barbecue..... The jaccouzi is a big plus. I highly recommend!!:)

A responsive and available host. A spacious accommodation and very well equipped to spend time in the rental (swimming pool, ping pong, pétanque, billiards...). Outside, the village is quiet and the sea is quite close.

You can book without a second thought. Everything is in accordance with the descriptions of the listing. Ruth, the concierge of the place, is very friendly and welcoming. It offers a meal service with unbeatable value for money.

Our group of 7 50 something men really enjoyed our 5 day stay in Normandy. Charlotte met us on arrival and showed us around the extensive house and facilities. The house was great with a well equipped kitchen, great covered and heated pool, tennis court and more. We didn't manage to make use of the bikes or canoes that were also at our disposal. Bedrooms were clean with good beds. My only criticisms would be that there was only seating for 5 in the living room, toilets did not have basins, and the directions were not great - a what.3.words location would have been really helpful. Overall, it was a great place to stay and one of our group plans to return with their family later in the year.

We booked for the weekend of the ascension, Isabelle was very responsive to questions about our arrival, our stay and our departure. The studio is very functional, especially very clean and tidy. We had a lovely weekend. We recommend Isabelle and her studio 100%. Sylvie and Olivier

We had a short but truly lovely stay! A perfect place for our family--we could all spread out a bit after a week sharing hotel rooms. Loved the location--the views were charming. Proximity to Bayeux was excellent--less than a five minute drive to the town center parking lots. Very clean, clear instructions, and thoughtfully stocked kitchen (though we didn't cook!). We'd definitely return. Thank you for a great stop on our road trip.

Loved Kevin's place, it was as per the listing. Location wise it's in a very quiet area about 10 minutes drive from Bayeux. Kevin was a good host and quick to respond to our questions. Would stay here again.

Sandra's place is great! Very private, hot tub was marvelous. Easy walk to restaurants and sites. Bed was comfortable, everything was very clean. Excellent place to stay in Caen!

nice little studio suite with a Murphy bed. Fantastic location directly overlooking Juno beach with easy access for beach walks and the war memorials.

This was exactly we had hoped for. Steps away from a major WWII D Day site on a one way street that saw very little traffic. The space was clean and in, what I would call, a very historic home. I recommend this booking for anyone who would like to be centrally located for the historic beaches of Normandy during D Day or a quiet villa 400 meters from the calming waters of the ocean.

Beautiful house clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed . Children loved the garden . Lovely area to visit beautiful coast and countryside and interesting and moving WW2 sites to visit
