Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Pontchâteau

Do you want a peaceful haven? Relax in a great jacuzzi? Sleep in a great bed and find yourself in a quiet place? This accommodation is perfect, the hosts are very communicative, they paid great attention to my friend who came with his two small dogs. The accommodation is perfect, go there with your eyes closed. I plan to return as soon as I can.

We had a wonderful few days. The house was like in the photo, the view, with a remarkable location. It was a favorite, and it was sad to leave this magical place. David is a nice person. Regarding the equipment, he thought of everything, a fireplace for a small friendly evening, garden lounges with different views. Excellent stay in this very nice welcoming house with a magnificent sea view from the living room sofa, a very nice and large garden. As in the photos. The accommodation is very clean and large. Good point for the location with the beach 5 min walk in a quiet residential area. We enjoyed being able to visit Guérande, Carnac, La Baule all ready.

We had a wonderful stay at Diane's and Philippe's place. It is plenty spacious and comfortable, private, and in a very serene location. The kitchen was fully and thoroughly equipped for cooking all of our meals. We appreciated the bright sleeping loft and large, well appointed bathroom, and sitting outside in the sun on the days the weather allowed. Diane's communication and directions were great, although she was abroad, so we didn't get to meet her during our stay. I have no doubt she would have been as friendly as Philippe, who generously invited us (twice!) to come and enjoy an evening of roaring fire, drinks, and conversation in the bar they have outfitted in an amazing, high-ceilinged restored space with enormous stone fireplace! The bar is a hidden surprise in a historic property they have painstakingly restored from a ruin. Even the neighbors were lovely! Thank you both for creating such a characteristic space in which to host people so warmly and openly.

We stayed one night but everything was perfect. Clear directions and very clean place. The terrace overlooking the pond is amazing, a haven of peace!

We spent a wonderful weekend discovering the charms of the Marais and the north of the Vendee. The setting is peaceful and refreshing, with plenty of activities nearby. We enjoyed local specialties like brioche and oysters, and ended our stay with nice billiards at the accommodation — a real pleasure! Very nice apartment, very comfortable, beautiful view of the port, matches the photos. Small downside, access by steep and narrow stairs. check-in instructions not given by Airbnb or late, therefore difficult to find the garage. Thanks to Virginie for being responsive.

Dear Bérangère, We enjoyed the time in your accommodation right at the harbor - great location, yet very quiet. The apartment is wonderful and very tastefully furnished and we had everything we needed. If you don't want to go to the relatively expensive parking garage opposite, you can find various free parking spaces in the small streets in just 5 minutes on foot. We had our dog with us and also had quite positive experiences here. Vannes and the surrounding area are worth a trip and this apartment is absolutely recommended. Thank you so much for having us. Great relaxing stay at La Gatee. William is an excellent host providing all the necessary information beforehand and also being extremely responsive during our stay with recommendations. The house is very spacious and is in a beautiful tranquil setting and is exactly as described. Our kids loved the two cats which are super friendly but not overbearing. Many thanks William!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, chic house. The pool area and spa and outdoor seating are fabulous and we spent many hours chilling here. Also the musical instruments and vinyl collection made this a house with such a laid back and happy vibe. Jean Luc and Ingrid were amazing hosts. They helped us to book many outings and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food upon our arrival was outstanding, above and beyond expectation. The location is superb. Many lovely beaches, pretty towns, wonderful shops and restaurants. Merci beaucoups!
