Excellent place

The property is well-maintained and relatively new. However, the brick lines in the shower area have started to show black and brown stains, likely due to insufficient cleaning—particularly along the edges of the glass door. The backyard chairs are rusted and should be replaced. Additionally, the dining chairs were different from those shown in the photos; they were metal without cushions, making them uncomfortable for extended seating, especially for older guests. One kitchen pot was rusted, but they promptly replaced it. Aside from these issues, everything else was great: the kitchen stove, fridge, utensils, bedroom, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer were all in good condition. Laundry soap, dishwasher detergent, and clean towels were provided. We will come back and stay

Amanda's place was the perfect location for our visit to SoCal. Her quaint cottage has been lovingly restored and remodeled. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfy, and the air conditioning options plus all the ceiling fans made our stay very comfortable on some very warm days. Being within walking distance of downtown LaVerne with restaurant options through some historic homes was a definite plus. Thank you, Amanda for a wonderful stay!

Lynn was a fantastic host! ‭She was extremely responsive and accommodated my weird travel schedule. Her place was true to the images online and guaranteed a lot of privacy The area is stunning, quiet, and close to a lot of great spots.

Martha and George were so responsive and helpful as well as being flexible as I came to town for my friends’s wedding. The house was equipped with everything that I needed in the bathrooms and kitchen and was a welcoming space. The room itself was very cute and a good amount of room. They were responsive with any problems or questions that I had and were super flexible when I needed to stay a bit later and the room was available. I highly recommend staying here if you’re ever in the area!

Nicole's place is really cute and clean. Exactly like the pictures. I wish I had read the description better about how there isn't AC because we have a baby and the hot temps made us nervous for our baby. Nicole communicates promptly and it was a nice stay!

Rooms were a private wing of the house - everything was spotless, quiet, and clean. Host was responsive and communicated very well. Accommodations were comfortable and far more luxuriant than what I needed for the evening.

Dana is an amazing host—gentle, attentive, and full of positive energy. Being around her felt like stepping into a bubble of warmth and calm. We shared great conversations, and I felt like I’d met a kindred spirit. One night, we cooked hotpot together with ingredients we brought, and her cooking impressed me. My favorite was her homemade lemonade from her own backyard lemons—perfectly sweet, tangy, and irresistibly refreshing. I couldn’t stop at one glass. Her homemade pork floss bread was equally unforgettable. Her three adorable Ragdoll cats were a highlight—they waited outside my door, rolled over for belly rubs, and followed me everywhere. I even thought about getting a cat myself! Knowing Dana adopted them as strays made me admire her even more. I used to think living alone meant feeling lonely, but Dana showed me that life can be busy, vibrant, and full of meaning. If I visit LA again, I’d absolutely stay with her. Grateful for this warm, unforgettable experience!

I loved it just like the photo and both Tina and Mike are very responsive. The place was clean and neat. Will be sure to book with them again if I’m ever in the area

Darcy's place was just as described and Darcy was a wonderful host. From providing local recommendations to having ample "spare supplies" in the unit, he went that extra mile to make our stay a pleasant one. We'd definitely look at booking again when next we're in the LA area.

We recently stayed at Geoffrey's, and it was a very welcoming experience. Geoffrey was communicative, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The place felt just like home, which was perfect for my family. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a book of restaurant recommendations available; it made exploring the area so much easier. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a welcoming and convenient place to stay!

Great stay. I have stayed in this building before and this unit was just as solid. Clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The location is ideal and the vibe of the building is always on point. I actually liked it so much that I’m renting a condo a few floors up and moving in later this month. Thanks for a smooth and welcoming experience.

Nice place. Quiet. I had no issues getting in. The bathroom was clean. Kitchen was clean. They had a steamer for my clothes which was nice as well.

Absolutely thrilled about our stay here. It’s a beautiful condo with the best LA decor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Also- Having a WORKING washing machine in an Airbnb was a game changer! The rooftop views- wow!! How cool to have a pool and hot tub on the roof! There is also no reason to feel unsafe at this location (I saw other reviews with some worries). The security at the front desk was AMAZING. They will not let anyone in that is not supposed to be in the building. They eventually know you by name and greet you. They walked me outside to show me exactly how to get to the convenient parking garage provided by the host. (The parking garage is just as secure!) I could go on and on about our experience- but it will only allow me to write so much! Thank you so much Brandon! We will be back! If you want to stay downtown LA- stay here.

Pari’s place is bigger than it appears in the photos- really nice space. Modern and comfortable, fully outfitted kitchen, and plenty of towels/amenities. Contrary to other reviewers, I didn’t find the parking to be tough. I rented an SUV and just backed into the space without a problem - I can see how it would be tough for someone if they headed in- just do a three point turn up front and you’ll be fine :) One last comment- the location can’t be beat! Walking distance to so much (including one of my favorite restaurants, Green Street). And less than 15 minutes to Occidental College, where I was attending events. Great stay. Thanks Pari!

Booked for the rooftop pool view and it did not disappoint. The parking spot was a nice bonus. The unit itself was nice. Comfy bed, big tv, very clean. As others mentioned, it’s very bright; bring an eye mask if you don’t want to be up with the sunrise.

We really enjoyed staying here! The waterfalls and garden area that the balcony overlooks were a beautiful surprise. The complex was quiet and Jeffrey checked in each night we stayed to ensure everything was meeting our expectations!

Great spot in the heart of downtown. Loved the rooftop pool. Very convenient location, close to Dodger Stadium (Go Blue!). Host easy to communicate with. Front desk people super cool. Was nice to have parking too. Would stay again. Be sure to read about the history of this building. Super interesting.

The place was very clean, very well laid out and homey, lots of closet space, and I can't say enough about how well-stocked the house was! Plenty of kitchen supplies - everything you could ever need - as well as cleaning supplies, plenty of towels, even extra toilet paper and tissues if you ran out. Office area was a great place to sit and put on my make-up and dry my hair (using the portable make up mirror provided in the bathroom) while my husband showered! Eric was very responsive to any questions. Easy check-in and check out. We would definitely stay again if in the area.
