Holiday rentals with a pool in Pombal

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

Functional, pleasant and spacious house. As described and photos. Host welcoming and responsive. There are no negative points. We had a great time. You can rent this house without hesitation. If we return to Portugal, we will undoubtedly try to rent this house again. There were 8 of us, 7 adults and 1 child. The pool is lovely. And the hosts are very welcoming. The bottle of wine offered on arrival is a bonus that is very much appreciated.

Everything was great, we had a really nice and peaceful stay. There seems to be a quarry not far and it made some noise but not too much. And in the evening there was an event nearby with loud music that was a bit disturbing. I don’t know if it’s a regular thing.

Beautiful home with lots of amenities.

We had the most amazing stay, there was 6 of us in total and the villa was perfect! So spacious and beautifully decorated. The villa was extremely clean and modern, Helio is a great host too and super responsive and helpful! Highly recommend.

We had a great stay in extremely comfortable surroundings. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Fabulous swimming pool! Exiting the property a bit hazardous by car. The property is on a very busy main road and is a lorry route, you need two people to exit, one in the street as traffic flies by! A mirror situated so that you can see what is coming would be extremely helpful. The road is noisy but did not penetrate the house too much. Most shops, restaurants, etc are a short drive away. There is nowhere close enough on foot. Beds are comfortable but bed linen and towels are a little old and tired, they could do with replacing. Contacting the host during the week was problematical. Phone rings 3 times then changes to engaged tone. On one occasion all the electricity cut out, fortunately we were able to find the trip switches. We were aware that in an emergency we could not make immediate contact, a bit worrying. A minor point but as a party of 7, two sets of keys would have been helpful.

We had a great time at Eurico's house. We especially liked the large pool and the quiet location - ideal for switching off. The house is modern, cozy and well equipped. We spent a lot of time in the apartment, with small excursions in between. Eurico was super friendly and attentive – he always announced himself when he was maintaining the pool and was immediately available for questions. When the water failed one day, he took care of it right away and quickly found out that it was a central problem, not the house. We felt well taken care of and would come back anytime. Thank you, Eurico!

The Rural do Largo house seems to have life. It is even more beautiful and cozy than it appears in the photos. You notice Cristina's attention to detail and care for guests from the very beginning. Cleanliness is another highlight. The beds are very comfortable. Good quality linens and towels. The yard, with its extremely well-kept garden and the birds that are always there, is an irresistible invitation to relaxation and family life. In front of the house, there is a mini-market and below a very useful butcher shop, and in both you are served promptly and sympathetically. In the end, we returned home with a warm heart and the feeling of having spent precious days at Grandma's house.

We just stayed at Martine’s accommodation and It was perfect we got to enjoy the pool as weather was hot it’s very close to Tomar and also close enough to Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima We really enjoyed our stay and Martine was lovely very accommodating and making sure everything was ok for us I Highly recommended this accommodation

This was our best experience renting for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back because of the interactions had with Rickard and Lana. From the beginning they called and talked to us about best places to surf, resturants, etc. They let us know exactly what to expect. We had to reschedule due to a family emergency and they accommodated us no question and helped make it an easy process. Once we got to the airport they helped instruct us how to get to the place. Upon arrival the place was exactly what was pictured and pristine. It was perfect for us with the best view in Baleal. We got to watch the sunset over the ocean from our balcony! Rickard and Lana were available to answer any questions promptly! They are considered super DUPER hosts in my eyes. 100 out of 10! We will be back!

This was a lovely stay, at Casal do Varatojo. Sara and the whole family were wonderful. We enjoyed a yoga class, and my daughter loved the surroundings, Fátima, the pool, the friendship with Camila, everything really. The blackout happened during our stay, and I'll never forget how they were so proactive in providing information and all that was needed to make our lives easier. Thank you for everything!

What a wonderful stay we had at Sonia and Rui’s house. It was very well equipped, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were both very responsive, helpful and friendly. The area is very quiet with nice neighbours. There are 2 balconies with a lovely view of the lake, a barbecue, and the house itself is very spacious. The village shop is a short car journey, which is well stocked. We travelled mostly to Tomar (approximately 20 mins by car) where there are a fantastic range of larger supermarkets and restaurants. The direct water access was absolutely fantastic for us, and we spent most of our time on the water/at the lake. The launch itself is a short drive away, but not an issue to get to. The access to the lake is fairly steep, but walkable/accessible. Our 3 year old managed this fine, and couldn’t wait to go swimming in the lake everyday. There is also a shared condominium pool, and was quiet during our stay. We were sad to leave, but will be back!
