Holiday rentals with a kayak in Polk County

Book it! My family and I stayed for our last bit of Spring Break (4 adults, 3 kids and a baby) and we had a blast! I can’t think of a negative thing to say about our stay. Upon arriving to the property, it just felt peaceful. The atmosphere and the community together have a sense of calmness. Check in and check out was easy. Plenty of cookware to use for having homemade meals. The backyard area was beautiful and full of seating. We sat around the fire pit, barbecued, fished and utilized the boats. There were extra life jackets, fishing poles and grills on site to use as well. Our kids had so much fun! Watching them disconnect from the world a bit and just have fun being kids was the best part. We loved our time at Richard and Carols. Definitely had me wanting to sell our subdivision house for a place like this!

We were traveling with 5 kids and wanted a house to keep them busy - this place DID NOT disappoint! My littlest two were so excited to find Legos and Barbies downstairs! We had endless Ping Pong tournaments! And the star of the show?? The rope swing on the dock! I can’t think of the last time they had so much fun! I’m talking hours upon hours of swinging into the lake. We caught lots of fish as well - both big and small. The hosts seem to have thought of everything that you might need for a vacay on the lake. There were floats for the water, fishing gear, life jackets, and of course kayaks. The house itself was also well stocked and we had everything we needed for a relaxing, yet busy, few days in Texas. We come to this area often, and my kids have already asked if we can rent this again! 5 STARS!

Our family had the best time! Although it rained our first afternoon there, the upstairs nook was so amazing to sit and read and watch the storm roll in. My kiddos loved getting to go fishing and I appreciated all of the items provided so they could do so. We had plenty of space for our family and the host was very detailed in making sure the home was stocked with things you all the things you might need. Would definitely stay here again!

What a weekend! This house has it all. Pristine cleanliness, wonderful views and feels like a home away from home. Kid friendly games and activities included with the stay. The kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed and forgot we needed to prepare a big family meal. The porches are wonderful places to gather and watch the wild life. The hosts are so accommodating and it’s obvious they take pride in their property and providing a family friendly home. We visited other rentals in the area that our friends were staying at that were twice the money and not near the overall experience of this place. Get more bang for your buck and rent this place. You won’t be disappointed!!

Modern beautiful design. Very spacious and clean. Easy to find and check in. Wonderful location for my family that came into town for my son’s gradation. No complaints. Well worth the price. Seemed like quite a bargain to everyone that stayed

Jennifer was the nicest host throughout our stay. She was always responsive and very considerate of all our needs. The house in itself is a beauty. There's also another little house on top of the garage that's so cute all set up like a hotel room. The outside area is huge and super private and the canopied deck was so beautiful to sit or swing and watch the rain. We'll definitely be returning here!

The good: there are plenty of games and water toys to keep you occupies and having fun, the beds are comfy, there is good seating for the amount of sleeping, the boat launch is super helpful with the kayaks. the not so good: the walls are thin, the rooms are tiny, barely bigger than the bed, not a lot of dressing room if that matters to you.

Great Place, Great location! Very quiet neighborhood. Home has everything you need plus some. Beds are very comfortable, and space is very clean and organized. The Kayaks and the Paddle boat were a ton of fun. We caught lots of fish in the lake and some right off the back dock. We will return very soon.

This place is a HIDDEN GEM!💎 My family & I spent Father's Day weekend at Leslie's BEAUTIFUL lake house & WOW! The pictures really don't do this place justice! It was such a peaceful and relaxing place to spend time with family. Leslie was an incredible host and very quick to respond to any questions we had at any time! We spent most of our time fishing & caught some alligator gar & catfish! There were plenty of places for everyone to sleep, the wifi was great, & there were even extra toothbrushes and snacks available! We will definitely be back!!😊

Homie cabin, responsive hosts, spectacular opportunities for water time. We were out and about and didn’t try the boats until our last day- regrets, that was the highlight of our trip!!

This place was absolutely beautiful and what me and my husband was looking for. Quiet and relaxing. Great place to get away from the city. The cabin was clean and cozy. Will definitely stay here again.

My friend and I enjoyed 3 nights sitting on the dock swings fishing. It was a beautiful location. The cabin was quite nice and had everything we needed. The beds were clean and comfortable. Nice shower. We would definitely stay again. Thank you both for a great stay!

The cabin was very nice and comfortable. Rick and Burnadette were very responsive to our questions and gave us good instructions on the things we wanted to do. They were very nice and helpful. The area is nice and peaceful. Would definitely go back.

Great trip, right on the water. Cozy cabin. Dogs loved it. We fished from the dock and was relaxing.
