Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Polk County

Garrett and Tiffani made their place feel like home. Perfect layout for our large family. Lots of fun things for our kids of every age to do. Plenty of space as well. The location was perfect. Quiet neighborhood but walking distance to parks and food. The hosts quickly responded to any inquiries and were great at overall information regarding the rental. We would definitely stay here again. My littles loved the red house. 100% recommend the house and hosts.

This space is an oasis. It was perfect for my needs. It’s private and gorgeous. The backyard was more intimate than expected and loved the secret pathway to the gazebo/fire pit area. You can tell so much year round effort is put in for this home. It goes the extra mile! The house provided everything for us and was very clean. I love the space so much I wish I could buy it! The host is clear and committed to providing great communication. The neighborhood was quiet, safe and clean with a grocery store just 3 mins away.

This home was a very peaceful place to stay. It worked great for our family during our weekend of activities in the area. Would definitely stay again.

Thank you for the great set up in your home for a fun filled family long weekend while we celebrated our son’s graduation. The home had a very large open floor plan which made for a great set up for our large family. They loved the huge sun porch with table and chairs, large backyard, hot tub, pool and we had a fire every night at the fire pit with s’mores. The home is clean and maintained well and it was easy to communicate with Hannah. Thanks so much for the great Airbnb!

Carrie was so kind, helpful, anything that we needed she was there. She was accommodating, the place was beautiful, the hot tub was awesome. Had a beautiful fire pit. It was great neighborhood, we could walk to the coffee shop. I would totally recommend her place and I’m going to recommend it to friends of ours because she essentially located next to friends neighborhood.

We had a great time! This was a perfect, private space for myself, my husband, and our dog to hang out during the week leading up to our wedding in Des Moines. We sat for hours in the backyard Adirondack chairs soaking up the beautiful spring Iowa weather. The neighborhood was also very walkable and safe. Super clean and had all the amenities we needed!

Luis was very fast at responding to my questions. This place was very well kept and bigger than I was expecting. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at Dallas’s Airbnb! From the start, Dallas was very responsive and answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly, which made the booking process smooth and easy. The place was conveniently located, very good size, and the price seemed reasonable. It did indicate that the evenings were loud with a bar/restaurant across the street, but we knew that going into it. We were very pleased with our stay. Thank you so very much.

Perfect space for a quick overnight stay with my girls. Exactly as described and a much better deal than area hotels. Wish we had had more time to explore the neighborhood!

I had a great stay while in Des Moines, the apartment was very nice and had everything that I needed for my stay. Also close to restaurants within walkable distances. I recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Des Moines!

This place was nice. It was clean and comfortable with a nice view of downtown and walkable to nearby coffee and restaurants. The communication was prompt and helpful when we had issues. Only drawback is the parking. If you only have one car it’s no big deal, even two is manageable, but if you have more than that you’ll have to be a little patient. Ultimately we were able to figure it out and it wasn’t a dealbreaker and the location and comfort of the place were worth it.

This cabin nestled in the woods on a large property with hiking trails was super charming and we loved seeing the huge variety of birds at the bird feeder by the kitchen window. It was an outstanding place to gather for our daughter's college graduation from nearby Grinnell College. We found it comfortable and well outfitted and we enjoyed the outdoors and sitting around the fire pit in the evening.

Beautiful location and the place was spotless. Host was very responsive and accommodating. He came to greet us at check in and made sure we knew where everything was. Definitely recommend!

Everything was as expected, Jeremy was very informative. Fast to answer any questions and very accommodating to our girls wrestling team. We would definitely rebook if he would have us again thank you.

We had a delightful stay. We were back and forth to Grinnell for graduation festivities and didn’t have as much time to enjoy the property and grounds as I would have liked. But the cabin is clean and very comfortable in a beautiful woodsy setting. And the hosts made everything easy.

This place has always been wonderful, it's very quiet and peaceful. We had a wonderful time with our family and hope to visit again soon.

We booked this for our annual guy’s fishing trip. Red Rock Dam was minutes, great food in the surrounding areas like Pella and Knoxville. Great fishing, peaceful, spacious, quiet and the hot tub was amazing. We enjoyed the games provided but couldn’t use the WiI, the TV supports hdmi. Overall this place was amazing and will be booking again next year.
