Very good place stay on Mljet island, walking distance from the national park. The apartment is well equipped and clean

If you're considering staying on the island of Mljet, the village of Polače is a great base for all kinds of activities. The village has a number of restaurants, a bakery, a grocery as well as several bicycle rental options - all within short walking distance from this apartment. The national park is literally at the doorstep as well. The apartment is up a long flight of stairs, but it's worth it for the views from the balcony: we sat and watched boats glide in and out of the harbor all day. The apartment is clean and modern, boasting two separate bedrooms (each with their own toilet & shower), a generous living/dining area and a kitchen. The hosts were kind and communicative, even welcomed us with a bottle of local wine. It was so quiet & peaceful, I could have stayed much longer!

Tamara, and especially Zoran who was always available, were incredible hosts - we completely recommend this place! Our ferry to Mljet was cancelled due to a storm and both hosts were really reactive and helpful, picking us up from the ferry port the other side of the island, which we can’t thank them enough for. The accommodation was beautiful and clean and the kitchen had everything you’d need for homemade dinners. We are sad to leave, especially since the weather is now better 😄 Thank you again!

Truly lovely place, with peaceful views from the balcony over the bay and a blossoming garden. Zeljka and her family were friendly and helpful, and we felt right at home. Highly recommend!

We stayed here to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary, our first holiday without the children! We could not have picked a better place ☺️ The apartment was spotless with the most incredible view across the sea from the leafy veranda and hot tub, so romantic ❤️ And loads of little touches in both the kitchen and bathroom, plus a comfy bed and effective air con 😅 Gina was so responsive and helpful with all my questions before we even arrived and gave loads of recommendations & met us there. The location is great, about a 40 minute walk or an easy direct bus trip to the old town from right by the apartment, we walked it most days cause we’re quite active. We were so happy we stayed outside the old town cause it was very busy with tourists and expensive, and by the port where we were was much quieter and a beautiful view. I was so happy we picked this place as it really was what made our stay in Dubrovnik perfect, I would recommend to everyone. Thanks guys!x

Wonderful accommodation in a stunning location. The accommodation was spotless and had everything you could want for. The pleasant walk to the Old Town took about 10 minutes. The view from the terrace was superb. can't recommend this accommodation enough. It is simply superb. Jill & Ray (UK)

Nikola was very responsive, recommended local restaurants, allowed us to store our luggage both before and after checkout and provided transportation to Pomena for the ferry when we left. The location was just steps from the ferry dock at Polace and was beautiful.

Exceptional accomodation and host. Pero is extremely friendly and helpful and the place is spacious, has everything you could need with great view from the terrace. Nearby are bakery, market, bunch of restaurants and great rent-a-bike place.

Spacious, clean and bright waterfront apartment in a scenic and a quieter part of the bay of Pomena. Lovely spacious balcony to enjoy excellent sunset views from. Great working air conditioning keeps the apartment cold and comfortable. Good selection of restaurants right on the door stop and a couple of shops and plenty of bike rental places within a very short stroll around the bay to further restaurants and the ferry port. A very walk to the entrance of the national park which is stunning to explore by bike or kayak.

Fortunate to have 11 nights in the Royal apartment. Suzana looked after us as Jadranka was away. Both though were responsive when needed assistance. As described in the listing with wonderful views across Lapad bay. There are 4 apartments in the complex along with the Hosts accommodation. Romantic apartment is at the top same level as pool area. Next down was the Royal, Harmony a few steps further down and Marine the lowest. All very private and didn’t hear any unnecessary noise from other guests. 61 steep steps from street to apartment door and the shower is in the hydro bath so a bit of a high step there. My wife was a bit hesitant as she has had a hip replacement couple of years ago but found a routine! Using the elevators at nearby More and Kompas hotels to get back from the promenade was a good handy hint! Amenities were good. Some instructions would be helpful especially using the appliances. We loved the place! It was spotless and everything was in really good condition. Close to the beach, supermarket and winery. The kitchen was really well equipped and we were welcomed with a platter of meats and cheese and the fridge stocked with water milk etc, which made us feel at home right away. Would highly recommend, and it was great value. We would definitely stay again☺️

Lovely place. Easy to get to local shops and the old town via steps then easy to uber back up as I struggle with mobility. View was amazing! Bed was comfortable. No complaints here !

We felt like the King and Queen of this gorgeous little cove! With a private balcony overlooking a popular beach! It was simply spectacular. The place is perfect for two guests. Walkable to town, shops, restaurants etc. We loved it so much we found ourselves rushing back from town to sit on the balcony. I would highly recommend!

We had an AMAZING stay with David and Ursula! The complex is in a stunningly beautiful area, close to beach and beach club, easily walkable to the old town. Ursula gave us great recommendations for restaurants, transport and things to do around the island, she really made sure we enjoyed our time there. The place itself is amazing, clean, had everything, and the views from the balcony can’t be beat. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

The stay was even better than in photos and the host Bianka was amazing! Exceeded our expectations- really comfortable, homy, extremely clean, equipped with absolutely everything needed- just like at home 😍🥰 The best feeling really. It was a home, away from home.

Jasminka's place was an absolute paradise., so quiet and peaceful and picturesque! It's about a 40-minute breathtaking scenic drive from Korcula Old Town and the ferry, so you can have a nice private and quiet experience enjoying the perfectly clear, warm water of the bay and the most incredible sunset views from the balcony, while also being close enough to tourist activities when you want that. You're also walking distance to a charming little village that seems to have a couple local restaurants available during the high season. Jasminka and Jerko were wonderful hosts. We wish we could have stayed forever!

Just up from the Old town area, with view of the walls and fortress. Definitely have to be comfortable doing stairs, which suits for the majority of Croatia as well. You do not have access to the pool, however, jacuzzi was pristine and we used it during the day without any heat! Very friendly family, and Marija offered some local homemade beverage & dishes.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay at the penthouse that offered great space and amenities and it was a short walk to town. Would definitely stay here with our family again! Thank you!

This was one of our favourite stays in Croatia. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations. Spacious apartment, perfectly equipped, tastefully furnished and sparkling clean. Quietly located, with fantastic views of the sea. This accommodation is outstanding. Natali is a warm, helpful and reliable hostess. We hope that we can come back one day.

Simoneta is a perfect host. Could not ask for a more helpful accomodating lady who went out of her way to make the stay great. Gave us lots of help in restaurant and transport suggestions. The handover was totally comprehensive. Everything supplied in the apartment for every appliance , outstanding. Hot tub fantastic and apartment beautifully presented . Totally recommend to anyone. However the walk to the property is reasonably steep so if you are not good on your feet bear that in mind.

I can’t say enough nice things about Davor’s home!! It is incredibly well located, right in the old town. Easy to access, countless restaurants everywhere, and 2min walk to the ocean!

Super host, good amenities, especially appreciated the jacuzzi. Great location if you have a car, tho local transport is also handy.

Neven was an incredible host, who met us at the property and gave us a tour. We even had some snacks waiting for us (very much needed after our flight!) Prior to the visit Neven had sent an array of information detailing restaurant recommendations and places to visit, this was very useful when planning our stay. Among the cleanliness of the property and location one the highlights was the amazing sculptures at the property and the stories behind them. We came to celebrate my Husband's 40th and would absolutely come back. Neven is a credit to AirBnB hosting and we truly wish him all the best 😊.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Dubrovnik! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our entire trip — always quick to answer any questions and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience. He even went above and beyond by offering us some complimentary items that made our stay extra enjoyable! The location was perfect — close to everything we wanted to see and do, yet still peaceful and comfortable. The house itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. We felt right at home the moment we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Dubrovnik!
