Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Pointe aux Canonniers

The location is stunning and the accommodation extremely functional as well as comfortable so we spent much of our stay at the house and were able to relax totally. The place is within easy reach of restaurants, shops, beaches and other necessary amenities although it would have been limited without a hire car. Mathilde was great throughout, always there if we needed anything, extremely helpful but not at all intrusive. We had a late arrival and she facilitated a meal at the house and essential supplies for us which made the start of our holiday much easier than it could have been.

We had a wonderful stay and can only highly recommend this Airbnb! Jessica gave us a warm welcome and even took the time to show us around the house, which made us feel at home right away. The house itself is absolutely beautiful very clean, well organized, and thoughtfully designed. The pool area was a real highlight and perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need for cooking during your stay. We especially appreciated the excellent cleaning service during our longer visit – everything was kept spotless and in perfect order. Tip for future guests: Definitely take the advice about renting a car seriously. You’ll absolutely need one to make the most of your stay and explore the area comfortably. We had a great 3 weeks in the house. Brand new, fully equipped with really everything you need to be comfortable with family and cook. Everything is really well thought out. Communication with Nazia was very smooth, well before the departure where we were able to ask her any questions. Isabelle on site was able to clean several times a week. Loved our stay. This is a fantastic place. Everything we hoped it would be. The gates to the grounds have security. It’s very private, secure and peaceful. The place is better than the photos. Management is first class, we hade Fiona looking after us, which made the stay very relaxing, knowing support if needed is on hand. Fatima came in 3 x week to make sure the place was clean and tidy, which resembled hotel service. This is a very well run place to ensure your holiday goes the way you want it. The location is brilliant with access to Grand Baie for restaurants and beautiful scenery as well as Choisy Beach which is our favourite beach. Plenty of supermarkets around to get essentials and food, as well as shopping malls. We can’t rate this place enough.

Great location. We loved the privacy of the place, with the beach in front of the garden. The area is not touristic, which we liked (we had a rental car). Geraldine is a nice host, we had good contact.

Loved the stay, the pool was completely private, even the villa. We were very comfortable. We had almost no issues, everything that we were told were there, was actually there. The only small issue was that there was a short power outage during our stay, but even for this Mima had candles available, and she was able to help, so we're immensely grateful. Overall an amazing experience and we would definitely recommend it to anyone else. Also the place matches the photos almost exactly!! It's a perfect little place

Very nicely decorated place. Easily accessible location with a rental car. Optimally with the shared pool on the property. You can walk (15 minutes) or drive (5 minutes) to the beach and shopping. The equipment is great with the European sockets, super washing machine, great large rooms and the terrace on the 1st floor. The price-performance ratio is appropriate here.

Very helpful and attentive host. The property is better than described. Value for money. We struggled to find it using Waze and Google maps but Christine was quick to come to our rescue in a very creative manner. The self check in also allows for privacy and instructions are clear

Perfect location, beautiful apartment with everything you need inside: a small balcony to enjoy the sun in the morning during breakfast, a seating area with two swings to relax when returning from visits, a fully equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. Not to mention the outside with its large swimming pool, its well-stocked weight room, the relaxation area, the barbecue area... everything is beautiful. Great hosts who best advise you on things to visit, very kind, respectful, attentive and attentive. I was able to share a grill and rum party with them and it was perfect. I recommend 1000% and will be back for sure! See you soon.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone! The sea is 2 minutes walking, as is the first restaurants. It was all very clean and as shown in the photos. We didn't miss anything because the host provided us with some information in advance. Very nice and accommodating host!

I had an incredible 4-day stay here. The location is amazing, just a very short walk to the gorgeous beaches of Trou aux Biches. The room was not only well-appointed and clean, but also peaceful and comfortable, making it a tranquil and ideal retreat. The host was attentive and responsive. For example, when I had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi, he showed up right away and helped set it up on my computer. He was also knowledgeable and helpful about what to do locally, offering great tips on places to eat and visit. I felt completely supported during my stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-connected home base in Mauritius.

Very nice location, quiet, close to all shops on foot. Well-maintained and relaxing pool in a very nice setting. The rooms are spacious. Impeccable and comfortable bedding. Beautiful little terrace. Very nice. I would highly recommend it.

Djameel is a consummate professional who was responsive all all times of the day. This expansive property is perfectly situated for all you'll need in the Grand Baie vicinity. With 3 bedrooms and a surprisingly generous outdoor space, there's plenty of room for large groups or families to reside for their Mauritius stay. A very comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Some good restaurants and cafes close by. The beach was also within walking distance. Thank you Jean and Roxanne for accommodating me with our few requests! You've been great!

A nice and big studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes, if you want to go to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very comfortable. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a little louder. Earplugs can help. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

We stayed 3 weeks at Devi's apartment and everything was perfect from our arrival to our departure. The apartment is modern, bright, functional, secure and super clean. Devi is a wonderful person, welcoming, considerate, generous who cares about the well-being of their guests as well as being super responsive if there's an issue. We can only highly recommend Devi's apartment. We'll be happy to go back. We recommend renting a car to explore the island. Thanks again Devi for your hospitality!

Very very nice home in quiet and beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come again if we are going to Mauritius.

We ended up at this place because we had a very bad experience with a home located on Freshwater Trou and we were not at all disappointed to have chosen this home with a pool. Very quiet, high standard apartment, everything was spotless when we arrived, the bath linen smelled extremely good. Karine the housekeeper is adorable. And Deborah who is in charge of management is really excellent, smiling, pleasant and professional. She allowed us to come earlier because there was no one in the listing before. Thank you so much for allowing us to have a great holiday.

A fantastic place for a great holiday. Immaculate, extremely well equipped, stunning decoration, extremely tasteful furniture & fittings, everything you need and more. I can personally recommend Romain’s place to anyone. This was our fourth visit to Mauritius , and was the best ever. We will definitely be back in the future. Romain went out of his way to arrange my wife’s 60th birthday celebrations. On our arrival we were surprised with Champagne , and he even arranged a birthday cake the night of the celebration. Amit and Ron's accommodation is very nice and comfortable. Everything is perfect for relaxing with the sublime terrace and small private pool. The residence is quiet and secure. Everything about it is excellent Amit and Ron are friendly and make sure to make the stay unforgettable. I recommend them 100%

We’re a family of five and have kids between 2yrs and 7 yrs. It was the perfect place to stay at, Sarah and Rebecca were very friendly and helpful. We can 100% recommend this Airbnb if you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet place to stay. It’s very modern and has all the things you need. We recommend getting a rental car during the stay here. I’d love to come back if we’re ever planning on staying in grand baie again!
