Holiday rentals with lake access in Podgorica

The cottage was charming and reminded me of holidays by the sea. The accommodation is in the Podgorica Stara Varoš area, which is the oldest part of the city with a still rural character, but very close to the center and everything you need. The surroundings and the proximity of the river add a specific charm to the place. The cottage has everything you need upon arrival and during your stay, as if you were coming home. There is also a courtyard with seating. Only a few of the surrounding houses are inhabited, so there is complete privacy, and at the same time there are neighbors around, so the place felt very safe for me as a woman traveling alone. If I ever return to Podgorida, I will definitely rent this cottage again.

If you are looking for a remote and beautiful place by the lake this place is perfect. Lidija and her family are kind and made us wonderful food and drinks for a weekend and showed us great hospitality. We got picked up by boat (make sure you don’t take too much baggage when you go) and had a little tour on the lake which was amazing. There was some issues with electricity but they quickly fixed it for us and we had a comfortable stay!

This place was exactly what we were looking for after a busy 5 days on the Montenegrin coastline. The location suited us perfectly for a peaceful end to our already amazing trip, with the calmness of the river and the array of wildlife making it extra special. The house very spacious with plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors. Although Drazen does not speak English, the daughter was able to translate and offer support with any issues we had and Drazen himself was incredibly kind and would help with any matter or issue. The local breakfast made for us every morning was the perfect way to start the day. If you also have additional time, go to lake skadar and take a tour of the lake, it’s only a 30 minute drive. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm retreat! A true hidden gem.

incredible place! so well located - a relaxed village only a 10 min walk away from the lake and all the restaurants. milo was so so helpful and friendly and was very easy to get in touch with during our stay. incredible view from the pool too!!! would definitely stay again

This house is amazing! The view from the balcony is so beautiful you won’t believe. The house itself is gorgeous, an old style with lovely vintage furniture. And as for cleanliness, it’s completely spotless. The local area is so beautiful, truly one of the most incredible places in Europe. All the beds are very comfortable. Varja was a great host and put us in touch with local people to go on boat trips etc. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Everything was great! Incredibly beautiful place. There is everything for relaxing with friends : hammocks, a grill area, the possibility of a picnic outside, a clean pool.

This place was perfect, convenient and pleasant, right next to the small center of Virpazar and facing the soothing lake

Very beautiful location that is currently still a work in progress. But you can really enjoy the nature here. The road to the place is quite an adventure but you will be rewarded greatly. We also really loved going by boat to the restaurant on the otherside of the water.

Petar and his partner welcomed us warmly into Airbnb located near the river, the place is authentic and surrounded by nature. We were able to enjoy the river and discovered the lake which is beautiful for a boat ride.

A place of rest and relaxation. It is wonderful to wake up early with nature, and to drink water at the source. Everything is new, well thought out and clean. We highly recommend it!!

When we arrived the checkin went smoothly and the place was perfect. Really nice appartment, a very safe parking, and big big garden.

Great apartment in the center of the city.

The accommodation is located in the heights with a view of the beautiful lake in a very quiet area. We were welcomed by an extraordinary woman who does not speak English but who kindly offered us drinks, cakes and fruit. We went to the private beach by the small path, it was amazing. I recommend the accommodation, you just have to keep in mind that there is nothing to cook at all apart from a fridge and that the first restaurants are in Rijeka, 10 min by car.

That was amazing! Mirjana her husband and her son were the best hosts I ever had. Sweet, welcoming and very warm hearted. Our communication was good even though we didn't speak the language. The food they offered to us, was honestly the best we had on our trip and freshly made. They loved to have a chat with us but also absolutely respected our private sphere. The location of the flat is in the middle of beautiful nature surrounded by mountains. The wonderful Shkodra Lake is also not far away. 10/10 experience with wonderful people. It is amazing modern village life experience. Houseowner is wonderful and will do everything to make you feel at home. He is always ready to help you with anything and he is very friendly.

It is an honor for us to give the first review for this accommodation! The accommodation is a stone's throw from the picturesque village on a slight hill. The view from the terrace is a dream, the accommodation itself is totally cozy and clean, everything you need is there. An oasis to come down. The communication with Milica was great😍 without her advice and support we would have ended up in the swamp (since we originally planned a hike from Virpazar (at the end of May part of the route is under water, which we did not know)). We finally arrived by boat and Milica welcomed us very kindly. Thanks for everything :) Dominique and Christian

Super nice place to stay with beautiful garden and great views. The host is also totally nice and even invited us to a wine tasting. The owner's dog is also very sweet and playful, but maybe not for people who are afraid of big dogs. When we asked if you could possibly leave the dog in the house, she moved to her other house in the village together with the dog for the duration of our stay. Totally nice!

Me and my girlfriend stayed in the house for five days. It was simply amazing! The location is fully immersed in nature. The road to get there is adventurous but doable. Once we arrived we checked in easily and effortlessly. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. From the terrace we could watch the lake and the surrounding nature peacefully while sipping on a delicious tea. We contacted Milica and she was extremely responsive, helpful and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to spend a calm and relaxing time in Montenegro. Note: to reach the house it is mandatory to have a car (you can rent it at the airport, it's a 40 minute drive)

Many thanks for the full fridge and the nice welcome. If you are connected to nature and like to be on and on the water, you will love this accommodation. We explored by kayak, river and lake. It was especially fun for us.

We stayed in 9 for my in-laws in August. Ideal environment for the largest and also for the little grandson. We had a big house and a small one. The place is beautiful and immersed in nature, reachable only by car. In the morning you will wake up with birds chirping but also with some moorings of the many cows grazing. So don't complain if a small bug or animal enters the house, you are on the banks of a river. Breakfast is very plentiful, the boat ride to the lake is unmissable. Marco and his family are very welcoming.

A little quiet paradise in the mountains. I stayed here for one month, it is beautiful. Dilek and Mileth were the best Air BnB hosts I've ever had, Dilek made me hot homemade food on many occasions, it was wonderful. My dog Bow had the time of his life in the big fully secure garden, i think he wanted to live there forever. I will definitely come back, it is perfect I got so much work done.
