Holiday rentals with lake access in Montenegro

Very warm welcome from Igor’s family, wonderful location, and a very comfy and well equipped house! We also really enjoyed going for a canoe adventure on the lake using Igor’s boat! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing AirBnB! Beautiful location, easy to find with good direction by some very responisve hosts. We had some additional request and the host was very accomodating. We got to enjoy the barbeque, some lovely local wines and the amazing view. Honestly could not recommend this airbnb enough! It was an amazing experience. And then with such a low price it is an absolute steal!

Everything was great! Incredibly beautiful place. There is everything for relaxing with friends : hammocks, a grill area, the possibility of a picnic outside, a clean pool.

We had a wonderful stay! The interior of the cabin was cozy, clean, and well supplied — just as seen in the photos. The location was fantastic, with easy access to town (just a 3-4-minute drive away) and some truly beautiful hikes nearby. What really stood out, though, was Zorica’s hospitality. She was incredibly kind and responsive, checking in regularly to ensure everything was going smoothly. The only thing to note — more as a sidenote than a complaint — is that the area around the cabin is experiencing a lot of growth, with many new cabins being built nearby. While the setting incredibly scenic, it doesn’t quite have the remote, countryside feel it may have once had. That may or may not be a factor depending on what a traveler is looking for. That said, the views remain lovely, and the fenced-in yard with a safe barrier to the road was perfect for letting the kids play freely.

Dodosi is a beautiful place to visit. Drive around lake Skadar you will see stunning scenery. The village is small so not a vast amount to do, so plan stuff, a trip on a boat around the lake, a visit to Niagara falls, a wine tasting experience, is what we did. Equally if you want peace n quiet then look no further. The wildlife is pretty spectacular as well, birds on the lake, a rarity in seeing a pelican, a few tortoise roaming around, snakes. Add to that cows, horses, sheep, donkies all seem to be in and out and around the village. This rustic way of life, for us was fantastic. So don't expect all the whistles and bells of a 5 star hotel, it is very rustic and a little step back into time. There are a couple of drinking places in Dodosi, one as you come into Dodosi and the other next to the river, this one serves food and we had lunch there and it was lovely, a note here only open weekends when in early season. The road getting to Dodosi can be a little tricky as it's very small.

Appartment as advertised, nice Location to explore the lake. Can recommend staying there!

Wonderful stay. Bobo was a great host and the place was perfect.

The apartment is in a convenient location, there is a parking space, independent entry and exit, new furniture, the kitchen has all the necessary utensils, it is clean, cozy, there is air conditioning. The host communicates pleasantly, responds quickly to messages.

Great and simple place. Clean with AC. Close to great restaurant and good view!

Very beautiful location that is currently still a work in progress. But you can really enjoy the nature here. The road to the place is quite an adventure but you will be rewarded greatly. We also really loved going by boat to the restaurant on the otherside of the water.

A great flat with everything you need. Lovely views and great location. The air conditioning was lovely and the washing machine very useful. We loved the pool and walked down to the great beach several times. Supermarket and restaurant at the bottom of the hill. Great communication too. Would definitely stay again, we had a lovely week.

Really enjoyed our stay. Great walks especially around the lakes. Very quiet and good location. Our host was particularly proactive and sent us information before our trip and then gave us places to visit when we arrived. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic apartment extremely modern inside with great features. The location is perfect for durmitor national park and close to local amenities restaurants, supermarkets etc….the apartment is in a peaceful location so sleep is very easy. Check in was effortless and communication from the host was very efficient and quick. I would definately stay in the apartment again.

It is amazing modern village life experience. Houseowner is wonderful and will do everything to make you feel at home. He is always ready to help you with anything and he is very friendly.

Extremely manicured wooden cottages on a secondary branch of the river. Close to the beach and main restaurants.... Lovely atmosphere... We had a great time

The cottage is located in a true paradise, surrounded by mountains and lots of greenery. A rippling stream flows right in front of the house. We got instructional videos of how to get there. Arrived there was beer and wine cold. The neighbor came to say hello, unfortunately we couldn't understand each other. Still, this was a friendly contact, where we got a bag of walnuts even upon departure. Contact with the owner was about the app, but this was fine, everything was easy to find in the cottage. Which was also equipped with shower products, ample amount of towels, laundry detergent and a kitchen stocked with herbs and oil and even a dishwasher. We had a wonderful stay. Perfect location for trips to Durmitor national park, the Tara Gorge and Biogradska Gora. The water heater is not very large, we couldn't all shower with each other. But if you keep that in mind, that's no problem. Should we come back to Montenegro, I would love to stay here again.

A beautiful haven of tranquility. We loved Ivan’s place, amazing views from the big windows and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with a Montenegrin coffee watching the birds. The stars at night were spectacular. In close proximity to Zabljak but far enough away to have total peace. We enjoyed driving the Durmitor ring, swimming in the black lake and visiting Tara River Canyon for rafting. Durmitor certainly has a piece of our hearts and Ivan’s place was the perfect base to explore.

Me and my girlfriend stayed in the house for five days. It was simply amazing! The location is fully immersed in nature. The road to get there is adventurous but doable. Once we arrived we checked in easily and effortlessly. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. From the terrace we could watch the lake and the surrounding nature peacefully while sipping on a delicious tea. We contacted Milica and she was extremely responsive, helpful and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to spend a calm and relaxing time in Montenegro. Note: to reach the house it is mandatory to have a car (you can rent it at the airport, it's a 40 minute drive)

We absolutely loved our stay at Maple House! For all three days, the weather was so harsh that we found ourselves confined indoors. But what could have been a disappointment turned into pure bliss. The rustic charm of the house, the cozy warmth of the wood stove, and the dramatic mountain views from every window made every moment magical. Adding to the experience was Stojan, our kind, attentive, and ever-smiling host, who ensured we felt cared for throughout our stay. It truly was the happiest “confinement” we could have imagined!

Really lovely cute little cottage out in the country side, our only regret is we didn't stay longer. Milan was a great host, and we even organised a boat tour with him which i would highly recommend.
