House holiday rentals in Plettenberg Bay

We had a lovely stay at Sanctuary House with our 7 year old son and 80 year old mum. The house has everything you need and more. The pool deck and braai area is great and it was also great to have a fire pit outside and fire place inside too. The weather was a bit changeable during our stay so these were well used. The house is in a good location with shops nearby and easy to reach other areas in Plet. Communication with Richard during our stay was excellent. I would highly recommend this holiday house.

We loved our stay in Pansy Shell. It’s a fabulous, open plan house with a lovely garden and pool and the most extraordinary view, must be the best in Plett. All communication was very easy, Cynthia looked after us very well, as did the security company (a faulty key meant we saw night watchmen a few times). We would definitely recommend this house and would love to return.

What a gorgeous house! Beautifully laid out, spacious and tastefully furnished with a wonderful pool and deck. The house is also very well equipped and stocked with everything you could need. Excellent location; walking distance to a spectacular beach and a short drive to town, shops, restaurants etc., Communication with Cara was good and she was helpful in resolving the one slight issue we had. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed the 3th time at the Cliff house. The house has an amazing view on the oceaan and the Heads. Its a wonderfull place to enjoy your family time

We enjoyed our stay, beautiful home that makes you feel its a home away from home. There's nothing you lack of...everything you needed was supplied.

The home was lovely, clean and well appointed. Lynne who envelopes us get in was punctual and friendly and communicated with us throughout. Ilsebe also checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable.

Penguin Cottage is a dream! It's nestled into the dunes in a small gated community and feels private and remote despite being quite near neighbour houses. It's stylish and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking with high quality kitchenware and appliances. Just one minute down the road is a shared beach access point and a shared viewing deck by the beach (though we never saw anyone else while we were there). There is a (warm!) outdoor shower - perfect for washing sand off after the beach. Multiple outdoor seating areas to enjoy, as well as views from inside the house if the weather is not cooperating. The deck around the house does not have rails, but is quite low to the ground (just a few feet high in most places) - we were not worried about our children (aged 3 & 6) but it might be a concern if you have a crawling baby/toddler. This spot is truly a gem and we felt so lucky to spend a few days here.

We loved our stay! Baron’s view is a beautiful estate and Henk’s place is perfect. The house is extremely well equipped and very peaceful with fantastic views. Sky Villa hotel is also on the estate which was great for drinks by the pool and we had some fantastic lunches & dinners there too (excellent service!). Henk also gave us some really good recommendations around Plett and was a great host. Highly recommend!

A great spot by the Knysna lagoon. What impresses most is the stylish and elegant house with Japanese design. It's not too large and not too small - feels elegant and cozy at the same time. We enjoyed the wood stove, the really nice braai area and most of all the location. As a bonus, it's five minutes walk by the lagoon to the newly refurbished Food Lovers Market, too. Our host was professional, friendly and really sharp. Would book again.

The house and the area was beautiful. Very spacious and very well equipped house. Host and co-host was very helpful and quick to respond. We forgot something behind and they went above and beyond to get it to us at our next destination. All round a great experience. Would definitely go back and recommend to anybody. This beautiful accommodation is one of a kind. The location could not be any better, located just a few driving minutes from the beach and just a few minutes from the city of Plett. The house itself is very modern and got access to a private garden you can use. We had a lovely time!!!

This is an absolute gem of a spot. The home offers all you need under roof to enjoy a luxurious stay. Standouts are the incredible views, easy access to the spectacular beaches and walks around the area. Heinrich was an absolute star, going above and beyond in assisting us. Highly recommend!

This beautiful property in stunning surroundings is the perfect location for a family vacation or getaway. It’s safe, private, spacious and tastefully decorated providing a comfortable and restful experience. The host was responsive, informative and super friendly.

We had a wonderful time in Keurbooms. House is well equipped with everything you need as well as a few extras. Close to several kid-friendly activities. Walking distance to Enrico’s as well as the beach. Unfortunately there were no life-guards on the beach, and I would not say it is really a swimming beach for kids, but great for splashing around and taking beautiful walks. Cozy cabin is a lovely place to stay at and has beautiful views from the deck. We will definitely visit again.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Colin and Yvonne's beautiful home in Plettenberg Bay for a week, and it was an absolute treat. The house is exquisitely decorated in a Hamptons style, with breathtaking panoramic views of the Keurbooms River and the ocean beyond. Michael’s attentive service truly elevated our experience—he made us feel safe, welcome, and completely at ease throughout our stay. The home is equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this stunning property to anyone visiting the area. We can’t wait to return!

Oceans Edge has been a fantastic find, set in a secluded secure location with easy private access to the most beautiful beach. The house was much bigger than we expected, very private and everything was of a great quality. Whilst walking on the beach, we’ve been lucky enough to see dolphins and seals playing in the surf. It’s easy access to Robberg National Park stunning scenery and walks. The town is a ten minute drive away, which is an absolutely fine for us. It’s close enough to be handy without being busy. We are already planning to come back in spring .

It was like having a modern rustic cabin with a great view, tucked away in the forest while simultaneously being right in the city. Like home away from home, private enough to concentrate on the work we needed to do, while still being 2 minutes from all the shops or restaurants we'd want to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed the time there and got to be productive too!!
