Family-friendly holiday rentals in Plettenberg Bay

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The home was spotless, well-situated, and incredibly peaceful—perfect for a family getaway. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and the house was equipped with everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail truly made our stay even more enjoyable. It was also very convenient, making our trip seamless and stress-free. We would absolutely recommend this place and would love to return in the future!

Wow!!! what a beautiful spacious home! The house is so well set out and they literally have everything you need. Perfect for families or groups of friends. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are such a treat after a long hot day on the beach. The front patio and braai area is where we relaxed later in the evenings. Gillian was amazing from booking to checkout. This will definitely be saved as a favourite for next time we are in plett. Thank you for everything Gillian and Thobeka.

If you're looking for a place in Plett for a family holiday with young kids (ours are 9 & 6) then this is a superb house. Nice safe and peaceful complex, communal areas are clean, the pools are great, and the house has everything you need. BUT please note the 3rd outside bedroom is actually tiny. It's a double bed, right up against the wall. My parents (Granny and Granddad) also joined us and no way they could use that as a bedroom. They can't climb over each other to get out of bed! So they moved into the 2nd bedroom and our kids slept on mattresses on the floor for 10 nights. The outside room is perfect for 1 teenager/adult. The house is well equipped, and lots to do on rainy days. It definitely needs some TLC and in need of a modernization but overall a good family holiday house in Plett.

We stayed at Sue's in our way up the garden route and it was just what we needed! The hot tub was warm and ready when we arrived, the property fit our family of 4 perfectly and it really was a lovely quant little flat. The surroundings were amazing - so beautiful. Would happily come back!

Cindy's place is great, with a wonderful outdoor entertainment and pool area. The kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms comfortable. Cindy was quick to reply to any queries or requests for assistance. Thanks Cindy!

We had an excellent stay in this beautiful home. Very peaceful sitting outside by the canal. The house is much bigger than what we thought it from the photos! A really great getaway!!

Fantastic location, with spectacular views of the heads. Beach less than 5 minutes away. Local restaurants within walking distance. Linda’s home is a must if visiting Knysna, with more than enough room for most families. Unam and Linda were amazing hosts and this is now our 1st choice when in Knysna or surrounding areas.

This is truly a hidden gem. Tucked away in beautifoul suroundings, the House is spacious, cozy and has Everything and more of what you need. We especially enjoyed the porch und spend Hours enjoying the views and nature around us. We had a lot of Plans for the area (Robberg Island is a Must!), but ended up spending much more time at the house than planned. We had a marvelous time and would advice anyone to Book this wonderful place!

The steps leading to this hidden gem were truly rewarding. Karen was one of the best hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, making me feel like part of her family from the start. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a refreshing escape from daily life, even if you already live near the ocean — this is an entirely unique experience.

5 Stars – A Slice of Paradise in Knysna! We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful home in Knysna. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed — the hosts greeted us warmly and had thoughtfully left snacks, a bottle of wine, and even a delicious cake for us to enjoy. Such a special touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The house itself is stunning — spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful location made it the perfect place to unwind. We loved spending time on the patio, soaking in the scenery, and enjoying relaxed evenings by the fire. The location is ideal too — just a short drive from town, yet far enough to feel like a private retreat. This place truly felt like a home away from home, and we can’t wait to return. Great stay, great place

what an awesome experience!! Julia is a great host, everything was explained well and easy to understand. what a bucket list experience and highly recommend visiting! super close to the waterfront with great restaurants and the mall is close by. secure parking for your car is also available so you don't have to worry. nothing beats waking up to the sunrise on a houseboat! wifi, hot water and all the amenities of a normal house just on the water, so awesome!

Great appartment is a safe neighbourhood. Beds are really nice. Communication is great. We loved the appartment.

It exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful. The unit was so neat, lovely and had everything we needed and more. There was lots to do and see. This was a lovely weekend away. Will definitely be returning soon!

We loved our stay in Pansy Shell. It’s a fabulous, open plan house with a lovely garden and pool and the most extraordinary view, must be the best in Plett. All communication was very easy, Cynthia looked after us very well, as did the security company (a faulty key meant we saw night watchmen a few times). We would definitely recommend this house and would love to return.

It was sooooo nice. The house, the few, the beds are very good. We felt home and to look from the tarrace to the ocean is stunning. We miss it already. Very quiet, save, clean, just fantastic. Percy, the housemaid was soooo nice. Very friendly and lovely. Danny was also very friendly a perfect owner. Thank you very very much

The house was absolutely fabulous. We were 8 people and the house has plenty is space to comfortably accommodate all of us. It is also tastefully decorated. The neighborhood was completely safe and near many attractions including restaurants. We highly recommend the place and would not hesitate for one minute to book the place again. Thank You Anja and Raymond for a fantastic stay in your beautiful home. Everything was perfect and we loved every minute of our holiday. You were so quick to respond to messages and were so helpful with absolutely everything from Restaurants, to best beach to go to, and all amenities available. Getting our Entrance passes for the main gate was seamless and very quick and easy. We made friends with the guards who were fanstastic, cheerful and so helpful. We will definitely be back. Hopefully a friendship is borne from this. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
