Perfect for our girls weekend! Lots of space and relaxing place to stay! Quiet neighborhood. BEAUTIFUL space and location! Close to Top Golf, swimming complex, shopping, and restaurants! Hosts were super helpful and very responsive! We had a great weekend and will be back!

Great place to stay . Very roomy lots of couches outside space was great. Comfortable beds the kitchen was great. They had everything you’d need. Totally recommend this place.

We stayed at this house for the National Speech and Debate Tournament, and it was absolutely amazing. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit—perfect for relaxing after long days. There was plenty of space for all of our students to sleep comfortably, but what really stood out was how much room there was for everyone to spread out and have their own space when needed. The layout is ideal for a large group, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would strongly recommend this house to any group traveling together. It made our trip even more memorable!

Beautiful and comfortable home! This house is a delight with lots of charming details and amenities. The house offers plenty of square footage with multi-use rooms and spaces throughout. The pool was beautiful, clean, and so much fun. We were in town to visit our son for his college graduation from Drake University. This home made the weekend even better for our family to celebrate the occasion. The location is close to everything and the neighborhood is historic and beautiful. We would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Des Moines area.

We absolutely loved our time here. This place is a gem - 10/10. The host was very welcoming, had wonderful communication and went above and beyond for our stay. The house is incredible, the pool and hot tub were amazing and everything is maintained very well. I saw some reviews about there only being one bathroom with a shower, our group of ladies were aware and planned accordingly and it was no issue for us at all (there is more than one bathroom to clarify, just one with a shower). There are TONS of comfortable spots throughout the house to get ready. We had many plans to get out in Des Moines while visiting, and we truly just never wanted to leave the house, we were enjoying it that much. We are already looking for dates to come back next year. I had a wonderful stay. The house is so charming and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. While the house is small, it doesn’t feel cramped in the least. You have everything you need in a very workable space. If I need a place in DM again, this will be my first choice.

great place, had all we needed for a week long stay. we drove, so had a car to get everywhere, which was needed as it's in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Home was clean and easily livable as a family with two littles.

This is definitely the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Carrie was an amazing host and very responsive! The house was beautiful and felt like a home away from home. I cannot rave about this spot enough! If we ever decide to come back to visit, I would love to be able to stay here again. Absolutely beautiful! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Glad that we chose this place for an our a week long stay in Des Moines. New home , and we found everything we needed in home . Kitchen had lot utensils. Beds were comfortable. Host is very responsive, they live few blocks away . Though we did not have to contact them for anything during stay , it was good to know they are nearby and available to assist if needed . Very spacious yard and compound as well in a calm neighborhood.

I came with a group of high school students. Scott's place is perfect. Two bedrooms and bath on second floor perfect for chaperone and girls. Myself in the Master w/private bath on main floor. One chaperone used the study with sleeper sofa. Boys downstairs. All students loved the basement to hangout and relax after a long day of competition. House is walking distance to a GREAT rec area with beach, rentals, concessions, etc. This was so much fun. Great hiking and running trails right down the street from house, you don't have to drive to these, just take the beautiful trail and see the amazing scenery. Kitchen was well stocked for making meals if needed. Kitchen has all amenities, coffee maker, even an ice maker in the freezer. Location 10 minute drive to downtown yet feels like it is in a private oasis with it's proximity to the lake. This is the perfect airbnb if you come to Des Moines. Scott is a WONDERFUL host. I recommend Scott's place 100%.

We loved staying in this lovely home! We had fun playing pool and ping-pong together as a family! It’s not far from a Costco where we stocked up on food for the stay! The beds were super comfortable, too! We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

the house was well kept, clean and cozy!...the location was also very convenient...we all slept very nice!..this stay made for a excellent memories of taking our child to their first concert!...thanks again for this!!!!

Overall, this was a great place and Seth was responsive when we had a minor issue (fire alarm needed a battery change). I gave the neighborhood a four because there is train noise and occasional smells from neighboring factories. Neither of these mared our experience. The backyard is wonderful and we loved watching the fireflies.
