Perfect for our girls weekend! Lots of space and relaxing place to stay! Quiet neighborhood. BEAUTIFUL space and location! Close to Top Golf, swimming complex, shopping, and restaurants! Hosts were super helpful and very responsive! We had a great weekend and will be back!

Great place to stay . Very roomy lots of couches outside space was great. Comfortable beds the kitchen was great. They had everything you’d need. Totally recommend this place.

We stayed at this house for the National Speech and Debate Tournament, and it was absolutely amazing. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit—perfect for relaxing after long days. There was plenty of space for all of our students to sleep comfortably, but what really stood out was how much room there was for everyone to spread out and have their own space when needed. The layout is ideal for a large group, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I would strongly recommend this house to any group traveling together. It made our trip even more memorable!

Beautiful and comfortable home! This house is a delight with lots of charming details and amenities. The house offers plenty of square footage with multi-use rooms and spaces throughout. The pool was beautiful, clean, and so much fun. We were in town to visit our son for his college graduation from Drake University. This home made the weekend even better for our family to celebrate the occasion. The location is close to everything and the neighborhood is historic and beautiful. We would highly recommend this home to anyone staying in the Des Moines area.

The home is large and great for many people. The party barn was an amazing place to hang out with family and play games. The home and yard is very private, we saw deer running across the yard. The check in and check out was so easy.

This was the perfect place for our family to celebrate my Mother’s life. The tranquility was healing. We really appreciated the space for family to gather and the children loved all the outdoor space. They have done an amazing job of stocking the house with everything you can think of….games, towels, bathroom amenities, etc.

The space is always spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, and the host continues to be incredibly welcoming and responsive. great place, had all we needed for a week long stay. we drove, so had a car to get everywhere, which was needed as it's in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Home was clean and easily livable as a family with two littles.

This is definitely the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Carrie was an amazing host and very responsive! The house was beautiful and felt like a home away from home. I cannot rave about this spot enough! If we ever decide to come back to visit, I would love to be able to stay here again. Absolutely beautiful! 10/10 would recommend to anyone! The house had great amenities & very clean!

We were super grateful to have a quick and comfortable spot for the night. We got into Des Moines very late and needed a place to stay the night during our travels. Despite contacting/booking very last minute, Debbie was quick to respond and help us get settled. It was a wonderful little space with everything we needed for the night. Very clean, comfortable, and decorated well!

We were looking for a home base which had an enclosed back yard for our dog, but we didn’t plan to spend much time at the house as we were visiting family in the area. This place met our needs. The back yard is spartan, you wouldn’t hang out there. Access to it is only by way of the driveway not from the house. It did give some chance for the dog to be off leash a bit, but not large enough for exercise of a medium size dog like ours. That was OK, because the house sits amongst similar rentals across from an elementary school in a residential area. The neighborhood felt safe and there were plenty of walkable residential streets surrounding the school, much of it a few blocks away is fairly new construction, which the dog and I explored on long walks. No one is going to stay here for the breathtaking location, but as a place from which to home base for activities around the Des Moines area, it was well-suited. Safe, clean and well maintained with easy access to I-80.

Very well equipped for cooking a few meals and enjoying some down time in the yard.

I had a wonderful stay. The house is so charming and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. While the house is small, it doesn’t feel cramped in the least. You have everything you need in a very workable space. If I need a place in DM again, this will be my first choice.

I came with a group of high school students. Scott's place is perfect. Two bedrooms and bath on second floor perfect for chaperone and girls. Myself in the Master w/private bath on main floor. One chaperone used the study with sleeper sofa. Boys downstairs. All students loved the basement to hangout and relax after a long day of competition. House is walking distance to a GREAT rec area with beach, rentals, concessions, etc. This was so much fun. Great hiking and running trails right down the street from house, you don't have to drive to these, just take the beautiful trail and see the amazing scenery. Kitchen was well stocked for making meals if needed. Kitchen has all amenities, coffee maker, even an ice maker in the freezer. Location 10 minute drive to downtown yet feels like it is in a private oasis with it's proximity to the lake. This is the perfect airbnb if you come to Des Moines. Scott is a WONDERFUL host. I recommend Scott's place 100%.

Lovely and unique home with lots of space and floor to ceiling windows. Good outdoor space too. Very convenient to the airport and downtown Des Moines.

We loved staying in this lovely home! We had fun playing pool and ping-pong together as a family! It’s not far from a Costco where we stocked up on food for the stay! The beds were super comfortable, too! We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

The house was beautiful… probably one of the best and nicest Air bnb’s we have ever stayed in! The house fit our group perfectly and it was so clean and organized and it was very convenient to stores! The beds were super comfy! It was so close to our family that lives there so it made it a beeeze to go back and forth from their house! They had an awesome outside area where we actually hung out and played some family games at night under the lights! And we took advantage of the very nice hot tub on the last night! I highly recommend this place!

Had a great stay with grandkids! The proximity of home to downtown was perfect, we did lots ofl Demoines activities! We enjoyed touring the Capital, Blank Park Zoo, Science Center and Union Park which had a Carousel, Splash Pad and amazing Rocket slide! Giordano Grocery was on my list, sadly didn't make it. Next time!

My lady friends and I loved staying at this duplex.....2 bedrooms with 2 baths and a kitchen fully stocked. We enjoyed visiting in the living room and had a great place to park our car. Thank you for responding so quickly so we could arrive and get right in the home.
