Waterfront holiday rentals in Playa Potrero, Costa Rica

Had the most amazing honeymoon here in Costa Rica! There was house keeping every single day, and everyone was extremely helpful and responsive. Las Catalinas is the most beautiful town I’ve ever stayed at! It’s super safe with 24/7 security, lots of restaurants and some cute shops. And it’s right next to the beach. I highly recommend staying here!!! It literally felt like a dream. And the room was nice and cozy with AC and a ceiling fan to stay cool. I also loved the open shower.

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

This is a very clean, modern condo with all expected appliances and furnishings to have a great beach stay. The grounds are beautiful, and it is a close drive to the beach club which is amazing. Definitely recommend for a stay in Playa Conchal.

Great place to stay. Central location and very convenient check in and check out process. Security on the premises were also very nice. Really great we could use the pool as well!

Breathtakingly beautiful. The location and amenities of this location were absolutely amazing. We enjoyed our time and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

What a spot for a vacation! The location was prime and the room itself was well suited for everything you need. This is a hidden gem in the area. Things I appreciated the most: The ocean was steps away for a swim at anytime. The shop keepers and restaurant owners downstairs are great people and pleasant to talk to during your stay. Waffle monkey (breakfast) and Portofino are the best spots for breakfast, fresh seafood, low cost happy hours, and fire show at night during sunset. You can literally walk anywhere in minutes. There is 3 separate door with locks to get to your top floor rental so this spot is very safe! If you are lucky, you'll notice a 5 foot iguana that rests in the trees to your right off the porch, spending days in the trees. Alvaro is the mgmt person who helps you. He speaks great English and responds rapidly to questions. Can't wait to return and bring family. The two units next to each other would be an ideal joint rental for a group of 5-7 people. Highly recommend!!!

La estadía en el alojamiento fue excelente, el lugar estaba limpio, cómodo y el anfitrión fue muy atento y amable. En cuanto a la ubicación, me hizo sentir algo insegura al principio, probablemente por percepción personal. Sin embargo, no tuvimos ningún problema durante nuestra estadía.

Lovely flat within walking distance to the beach, shop, and sodas. Had everything you need and lovely hosts. Gracias :)

We had the best time! We had a few small plumbing issues, Joel was immediately responsive and problems were solved within an hour. Restaurants: Rustico, Rural (Tamarindo), Lola’s. Beaches: playa Flamingo & Playa Avellana were our favorites. House is super family friendly with the open concept.

Great place with an amazing view! Host was always in contact and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay, it extended our expectations.

Andres place was the perfect getaway for my wife and myself. We stayed there about a week. The place is absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. We could hear the Howler Monkeys at times and listen to the birds and the rain was the best. Very close to all the amenities, plenty of restaurants, shopping, and beaches. PERFECT!!!

This place was absolutely flawless. The beauty of the views, the pools, the shuttles were perfect! We cannot say enough kind words about his service and the home. His communication is amazing. He even gave us a wonderful recommendation for snorkeling and we had a blast.

The best review I can give is that is is a place I would stay at again and this Airbnb is one of those. The house was beautiful, the views fantastic, the location was close to everything we needed and the host, Lia, went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She had groceries delivered since we were arriving later in the day. Her recommendations on local spots were right on and she arranged a chef to cook for us on our last night and the meal was wonderful ( highly recommend it), Like I said, I can hardly wait until our next visit.

Our family had a great time! Enjoyed our surroundings and our privacy. There’s a lot to do. The only down side is when you were paying for things on the premises they added 13% if you didn’t pay in cash. So make sure you bring A LOT of cash.

El comentario de mi hija: Me encanto muy linda la villa la piscina estaba deliciosa muy limpia y la casita es hermosa, me gustó mucho que estuviera frente a la playa Potrero. Me encantó la terrazita qué tiene todo muy lindo. 😊🏖️

Amazing Family Vacation at Playa Flamingo! Our stay at Cody and Anna’s wonderful Airbnb in Playa Flamingo was truly unforgettable. The property is perfect for families—spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My three teens loved the nearby beache and all the fun activities, while I appreciated the peaceful surroundings and beautiful ocean. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with his awesome guidebook. They made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this awesome place for anyone looking for a relaxing, fun and family-friendly getaway in Costa Rica. We can't wait to return!

Brandon’s place was exceptionally beautiful. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The pool table got a lot of use! The views from the balcony were stunning. I would argue that these were the best sunset views in the entire town! The front balcony offered sunrise views as well! We spent most of our time on the rear balcony, enjoying those views. It was clean, easy self check in and the property manager Allen was very responsive and helpful in setting up excursions! We wished we could have stayed another week! Great location! We had a golf cart to buzz around town which was fun. Pablo was wonderful in helping us check-in (he even came to meet us to help us get checked in and gave us a quick tour) Condo was perfect for the 4 of us and we had a great time!

We love going to Reserva Conchal and Daphne's place had everything we wanted, from plenty of bedrooms, to a great location and view overlooking the golf course. Once inside the reserve, we had access to both The Westin and The W and all the amenities they had to offer. Great place to spend a weekend.

Stunning sunsets and spacious living is what we’ll remember from our fabulous stay! Syd was a friendly and responsive host always ready if we had a question. The beachfront location exceeded our expectations; it was quiet and incredibly scenic yet just a fun golf cart ride to Tamarindo. Also delicious restaurants within walking distance if you don’t want to rent golf carts. Our group of 6 adults LOVED our stay!!!
