Family-friendly holiday rentals in Playa Dominicus

I love that área inside casa de campo, it’s very nice peaceful quiet and safe, very close to altos de chavon and restaurants that’s the perfect spot to relax and desconectin from the rest of the world.

Let me begin by saying this house is not like the pictures… it is so much BETTER. Photos do not do this house justice. 4 spacious bedrooms, 1 with a king bed and 3 with double beds, each room with its own private, beautiful bathroom. The location of the house is also IDEAL. It is about 5 minutes to the Marina, 5-6 minutes to the beach and about 8 minutes to altos de chavon. From reservation and throughout our stay, Isabel was not only available but willing to help with anything— and I mean ANYTHING. (Ie. I missed a spray tan appointment before leaving home and Isabel connected me with someone local to do my tan in the house!). She was checking in with me throughout our stay and giving suggestions for where I could get different services as well. The in-house staff is also simply amazing. Iro is the maid/cook— she would make us breakfast daily and also made us an incredible lunch one day that had the whole house smelling wonderful and had our mouths watering as we anxiously awaited the deliciousness she prepared for us. Junior, the butler, is quiet, respectful, and always looking to help, but not at all intrusive. Any issues that arise, Junior takes care of it right away. Iro and Junior make you feel so at home that if it was up to me and my family, we wouldn’t have left! I honestly would’ve preferred not to write this review and keep this place to myself for future availability, but alas that would be total selfishness on my part! We are already planning our return trip. Cannot wait to come back!!

Peaceful home next to the golf course. Comfortable, great accommodations, fully equipped kitchen. My family and I had a great time and will definitely come back.

Anabella is an exceptional host of attention, kindness and responsiveness (and also speaks excellent French): thank you!! Being a 2mn walk from the beach changes the experience of Casa de Campo. More with children. You'll love eating in the lush garden, dotted with orchids, delicious figs on the tree, and visited by parrots and hummingbirds. The internet is great for working, even in the garden. Acoustique Sonos to enhance your stay or baths with a hot hot tub under the laurels.

There is nothing better than waking up in the morning to see the ocean, and the sunset while you eat dinner. Beautiful place. The location is perfect. We had everything we needed during our month stay. There were some small repairs that were needed while there, nothing that was a problem and everything was taken care of immediately. Whenever there was a heavy rain the water would come in, we used towels to clean it up and it was not a problem. Any questions we had were answered quickly and there was always someone to help if we needed something. The restaurant on the lower floor is nice. When we first arrived it was perfect to have something to eat and drink before we knew our way around. The villa is a little "worn" but we had everything we needed and everyone was wonderful. There is some noise from the boats and streets, it was no bother for us. The town is perfect, you can walk everywhere and find everything you need. We had a wonderful stay and will be happy to return. Thank you

Everything is absolutely amazing. The stuff is really friendly and if you go through the house with them they are happy to clean all little things to european standard. The outside bathroom and the many many different seating areas with different atmosphere and spectacular view over the golf course and the sundown. 100% Caribbean

Recommended. If you are looking for a place to stay in La Romana, you can definitely visit Ivelisse & Manuel. Also the staff of the apartments from whom we got the key are nice, helpful and always have a good mood. There's no need to think about cleanliness. For the price, the apartment is very good. Also, Ivelisse is always available for questions and will take care of it.

Excellent accommodation

The accommodation is located a few blocks from the bayahibe center and 5 minutes from Dominicus, is clean, comfortable, the rooms have AC and works well, the place is safe, a lady lives on the first floor and is very friendly.

Loved it! My friends and I had a great time, Gladys is always available when you need it, the place is comfy and the housekeeper is very helpful. I went for my birthday and Gladys didn’t have any crazy rules as some of the owners there have, the pool is beautiful and the rooms too. Good place to relax with friends and family.

Great attention from the host; Ellis was very kind to address all our concerns. Nice to get to a nice and clean house. The pool and terrace areas are a plus that we enjoyed as a family, we are a family of 5 and were very comfortable in the rooms. Furniture, comfortable beds that allowed us to rest very well. The person who helps guests in the house is very cordially and attentive. Overall it is a very great option to stay with family and friends within the complex, looking forward to coming back soon. This apartment was wonderful, nicely decorated and welcoming. We found it well equipped, clean and comfortable for our needs. We even had fresh fruit and wine waiting for us. Lourdes always communicated quickly. The location to the beach, town, markets, and eateries was fabulous. We appreciated the beach supplies, umbrella and towels. It was quiet, neighbors were friendly, gate security lock was comforting and pool nice. We enjoyed the locals and they were kind and helpful. It is spacious even though we only used 1 of the 2 bedrooms. So glad it had a washing machine. We would recommend Lourdes and her lovely apartment. Thank you for sharing your special place with us. We came to volunteer at an orphanage and were pleased to come home each night to the comforts of this place. Blessings to you.

Our stay at this apartment was simply spectacular. From the first moment we felt at home: the place is impeccably decorated, with modern details and a relaxing Caribbean vibe. Everything was clean, well equipped, very cozy and quiet. The location is perfect for enjoying the tranquility of Casa de Campo, with quick access to the beach, Altos de Chavón and the Marina. Safety and attention to detail made our experience completely worry-free. The host was extremely attentive and always available for anything we needed, which further elevated our experience. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Monica's place and willingness to inform us about excursions and places, restaurants, to visit were more than excellent and the coordility made us feel at home at all times. In the apartment you have everything, for a vacation and relaxation and it is impeccable. The beach, the passages and the sunsets in cadaqués fell in love with us. I recommend this place and especially to Monica who made us have a dream vacation. At our discretion, Cadaqués beach, is the best beach in Bayahíbe !!! I say this without exaggerating, the waters are very calm and transparent and the descent to the beach does not have a steep slope, as if there is in the Bayahíbe Hotel Zone, due to the man-made Cadaqués reef protects that the sea does not take the sand. You can snorkel and swim with the fish that are beautiful. We'll be back 100%!!! Thank you very much Monica for being our host throughout the trip.

Very nice accommodation within the Cadaqués complex, the room is very well equipped and the communication was effective. Great option to share with family or friends.

Los Melones Cabin in Bayahibe is an amazing unique property and was a fantastic experience for our 2 families, 4 adults and 4 kids ages 9 through 12. Property and grounds are amazing! Great pool, lots of areas to relax, entertain, explore. Fifa and Alcide were wonderful care takers. Fantastic meals from Fifa. Some spanish speaking is helpful but even our minimal spanish sufficed for communicating with the help of translator apps at times. Location in town is amazing. Private yet close/walking distance to restaurants (Onno's Taco Tuesday was great, The Lost Bar Pizza amazing, Heladeria), grocery (Mya for small purchases) , Magallanes beach (great locals beach good shore snorkeling and a small sandy area for swimming), DR baseball (awesome to see some local culture each day on the baseball field adjacent to the house). Great private tour for 8 with Captain Gringo to Soana Island. And a wonderful host in Karina who is always quick to respond and assist in anyway. 5 stars!!!
