Family-friendly holiday rentals in Playa Dominicus

I love that área inside casa de campo, it’s very nice peaceful quiet and safe, very close to altos de chavon and restaurants that’s the perfect spot to relax and desconectin from the rest of the world.

Let me begin by saying this house is not like the pictures… it is so much BETTER. Photos do not do this house justice. 4 spacious bedrooms, 1 with a king bed and 3 with double beds, each room with its own private, beautiful bathroom. The location of the house is also IDEAL. It is about 5 minutes to the Marina, 5-6 minutes to the beach and about 8 minutes to altos de chavon. From reservation and throughout our stay, Isabel was not only available but willing to help with anything— and I mean ANYTHING. (Ie. I missed a spray tan appointment before leaving home and Isabel connected me with someone local to do my tan in the house!). She was checking in with me throughout our stay and giving suggestions for where I could get different services as well. The in-house staff is also simply amazing. Iro is the maid/cook— she would make us breakfast daily and also made us an incredible lunch one day that had the whole house smelling wonderful and had our mouths watering as we anxiously awaited the deliciousness she prepared for us. Junior, the butler, is quiet, respectful, and always looking to help, but not at all intrusive. Any issues that arise, Junior takes care of it right away. Iro and Junior make you feel so at home that if it was up to me and my family, we wouldn’t have left! I honestly would’ve preferred not to write this review and keep this place to myself for future availability, but alas that would be total selfishness on my part! We are already planning our return trip. Cannot wait to come back!!

Peaceful home next to the golf course. Comfortable, great accommodations, fully equipped kitchen. My family and I had a great time and will definitely come back.

La pasamos excelente en este propiedad con un anfitrión amigable y atento, la villa es más hermosa en persona, amplia y super limpia, con cocina completa y equipada con utensilios de calidad, camas cómodas, nunca nos faltó agua caliente ni tampoco el internet, con una pareja de empleados de buen trato y atentos . No nos queríamos ir …volveremos pronto !! Muchas gracias !!

Anabella est une hôte exceptionelle d'attention, gentillesse et de réactivité (et parle aussi un excellent français): merci!! Etre à 2mn à pied de la plage change l'experience de Casa de Campo. Plus encore avec des enfants. Vous adorerez prendre vos repas dans le luxuriant jardin, parsemé d'orchidées, délicieuses figues sur l'arbre, et visité par perroquets et colibris. L'internet est excellente pour travailler, même dans le jardin. Acoustique Sonos pour agrémenter votre séjour ou bains d'un jacuzzi chaud sous les lauriers.

There is nothing better than waking up in the morning to see the ocean, and the sunset while you eat dinner. Beautiful place. The location is perfect. We had everything we needed during our month stay. There were some small repairs that were needed while there, nothing that was a problem and everything was taken care of immediately. Whenever there was a heavy rain the water would come in, we used towels to clean it up and it was not a problem. Any questions we had were answered quickly and there was always someone to help if we needed something. The restaurant on the lower floor is nice. When we first arrived it was perfect to have something to eat and drink before we knew our way around. The villa is a little "worn" but we had everything we needed and everyone was wonderful. There is some noise from the boats and streets, it was no bother for us. The town is perfect, you can walk everywhere and find everything you need. We had a wonderful stay and will be happy to return. Thank you

Everything is absolutely amazing. The stuff is really friendly and if you go through the house with them they are happy to clean all little things to european standard. The outside bathroom and the many many different seating areas with different atmosphere and spectacular view over the golf course and the sundown. 100% Caribbean

Empfehlenswert. Wer in La Romana eine Unterkunft sucht kann auf jedenfall bei Ivelisse & Manuel vorbeischauen. Auch die Angestellten der Apartments, von denen wir den Schlüssel bekommen haben, sind sehe nett, hilfsbereit und haben immer gute Laune. Über die Sauberkeit muss keine Gedanken gemacht werden. Für den Preis ist das Apartment sehr gut. Außerdem ist Ivelisse immer verfügbar bei Fragen und kümmert dich darum.

El alojamiento esta ubicado a unas pocas cuadras del centro de bayahibe y a 5 minutos de Dominicus, es limpio, comodo, las habitaciones cuentan con AC y funciona bien, el lugar es seguro, una señora vive en el primer piso y es muy amable.

Loved it! My friends and I had a great time, Gladys is always available when you need it, the place is comfy and the housekeeper is very helpful. I went for my birthday and Gladys didn’t have any crazy rules as some of the owners there have, the pool is beautiful and the rooms too. Good place to relax with friends and family.

Estupendas atenciones de parte de la anfitrion; Ellis fue muy amable en atender todas nuestras inquietudes. Es agradable llegar a una casa linda y limpia. Las áreas de piscina y terraza son un plus que disfrutamos en familia, somos una familia de 5 personas y estábamos muy cómodos en las habitaciones. Mobiliario, camas cómodas que nos permitieron descansar muy bien. La persona que ayuda a los huéspedes en la casa es muy cordialmente y atenta. En general es una muy excelente opción de hospedaje en familia y con amigos dentro del complejo, deseando volver pronto. Gracias!!

Wir haben tolle 4 Wochen mit 2 Kindern in der Wohnung verbracht. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles was man braucht ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch der Strand ist sehr schön und nur wenige Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Die Küche ist mit allem wichtigen ausgestattet und es gibt Klimaanlagen. Lourdes antwortet bei Fragen sehr schnell. Der Pool war auch super und wird auch von den Nachbarn mitgenutzt. Wir hatten sehr nette Nachbarn. Das Grundstück mit Wohnung und Pool ist durch ein Tor abschließbar und somit sehr sicher. Der Ort Dominicus hat uns auch gut gefallen. Ideal um z.B. Ausflüge nach Saona oder Catalina zu unternehmen. Da die Wohnung keine Treppen hat ist diese auch sehr für den Aufenthalt mit kleinen Kindern zu empfehlen. Für uns kam ein Resort nicht in Frage, da wir gerne auch mehr Kontakt mit Einheimischen haben wollten. Danke wir hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Nuestra estadía en este apartamento fue simplemente espectacular. Desde el primer momento nos sentimos como en casa: el lugar está impecablemente decorado, con detalles modernos y una vibra caribeña relajante. Todo estaba limpio, bien equipado, muy acogedor y tranquilo. La ubicación es perfecta para disfrutar de la tranquilidad de Casa de Campo, con acceso rápido a la playa, Altos de Chavón y el Marina. La seguridad y la atención al detalle hicieron que nuestra experiencia fuera completamente libre de preocupaciones. El anfitrión fue extremadamente atento y siempre disponible para cualquier cosa que necesitáramos, lo que elevó aún más nuestra experiencia. Definitivamente volveremos. ¡Recomendadísimo!

El lugar y la disposición de Mónica para informarnos sobre excursiones y lugares, restaurantes, para visitar fueron más que excelentes y la coordilidad nos hizo sentir en casa en todo momento. En el departamento tienes de todo, para unas vacaciones y relax y está impecable. La playa, los pasajes y los atardeceres en cadaqués nos enamoraron. Recomiendo este lugar y especialmente a Mónica que nos hizo pasar unas vacaciones soñadas. A nuestro criterio, la playa del Cadaqués, es la mejor playa de Bayahíbe !!! Digo ésto sin exagerar, las aguas son muy calmas y transparentes y la bajada a la playa no tiene una pendiente pronunciada, cómo si la hay en la zona hotelera de Bayahíbe, debido al arrecife artificial de Cadaqués protege que el mar no se lleve la arena. Puedes hacer snorkel y nadar con los peces que son hermosos. Volveremos 100%!!! Muchas gracias Mónica por ser nuestra anfitrión en todo el viaje.

Alojamiento muy bonito dentro del complejo Cadaqués, la habitación está muy bien equipada y la comunicación fue efectiva. Gran opción para compartir con familia o amigos.

Los Melones Cabin in Bayahibe is an amazing unique property and was a fantastic experience for our 2 families, 4 adults and 4 kids ages 9 through 12. Property and grounds are amazing! Great pool, lots of areas to relax, entertain, explore. Fifa and Alcide were wonderful care takers. Fantastic meals from Fifa. Some spanish speaking is helpful but even our minimal spanish sufficed for communicating with the help of translator apps at times. Location in town is amazing. Private yet close/walking distance to restaurants (Onno's Taco Tuesday was great, The Lost Bar Pizza amazing, Heladeria), grocery (Mya for small purchases) , Magallanes beach (great locals beach good shore snorkeling and a small sandy area for swimming), DR baseball (awesome to see some local culture each day on the baseball field adjacent to the house). Great private tour for 8 with Captain Gringo to Soana Island. And a wonderful host in Karina who is always quick to respond and assist in anyway. 5 stars!!!
