Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Playa Alicia

This place is amazing! A little serene piece of heaven. very spacious, clean and quiet. If you need a getaway to recharge, this is the place. The rooftop view is breath taking!

Truly a great experience overall and this trip was a surprise for my partner, she absolutely loved everything about it! We were instantly welcomed with open arms by John and Joanne, they gave us a tour and it was such a unique feeling. Very wholesome, lots to do in the home and outside as well, they offer a great ATV excursion and showed us the true beauty of puerto plata! They even recommended amazing places for nightlife and restaurants. The home was in great condition, and we got the well deserved break we needed! Highly recommend :)

Donny was an exceptional host and all of his staff as well. We felt truly taken care of and the house and outdoor area was fantastic. Highly recommend staying here. Donny even ordered a cake for one of the guests in our group. So cool!

Very private and peaceful place to stay right on the ocean. Janet, Lisa and Frida were amazingly helpful in booking outings like fishing and scuba. We would sit in the ocean during high tide and enjoy the warm water. Unless you are a kiter, the swimming must be done a couple of football fields away but the privacy was amazing. Highly recommended place to stay!!

Great little tiny home, away from the noise and commotion, and next to a beautiful and tranquil river. Home is super clean, cozy and comfortable, with everything you need, including a strong fan, quality AC. And I appreciated the added touch of the handy electric fly swatter, since I like leaving the windows open (though there was surprisingly very few bugs considering how deep in the woods you are). Just 10-15 drive to cabarete where a lot of restaurants and action is. But there's also a good restaurant just a short walk away. I had a good fresh fish meal there for cheap. By the river next to the home, there is a hammock and little bench to sit on. I spent a lot of time there working out, meditating and enjoying the water go by. There's also an inner tube and paddle board there, but didn't take the opportunity to use it since i was just there for two nights and had work to do. But definitely coming back and getting into the river next time!

I’m a villa guy. I have one located on the north coast and typically only stay in houses when I’m there. Over the past 15 years this was probably my 7-8 time staying in a hotel or apartment and I must say I truly enjoyed this location. The place was quiet and the amenities were perfect. I’d highly recommend this for anyone looking to have a room or two that is daytime walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

For me that place is great, the only criticism and escape to Jissel is the inflexible check-out time. Cute view, Linda installation, super easy to have breakfast right there, far (but nearby, which is not misinterpreted) from the kites. You can enjoy the beach without a sail or board falling on you, but you are close if you want to walk to where they are. We will repeat!!!

If you love the beach and/or surf this place is the perfect stay! The 10 min walk to the beach was a daily activity for us. The space is quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay very much 😊

Everything was as described. The place is super safe, quiet and exclusive, ideal for worry-free relaxation. Best of all, the private beach! A true paradise, perfect to enjoy with complete privacy. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back.

The Rinconcito de Merys is a cozy house that goes back to childhood in the house of grandparents in the country, in a simple way it offers you all the comforts you need, but above all the opportunity to interact and contemplate nature. It's 100% worth getting up to see the beautiful sunrise enjoyed from the front yard.

Beautiful place to spend time as a family and a peaceful environment. Beautiful facilities that invite you to rest and enjoy nature (including harmless insects). Very well located, close to the attractions of Rio San Juan. Being a citadina, it is strange to have security personnel nearby, even if the place does not convey signs of insecurity. We had a timely response to requests during your stay. Very good lodging option!

Excellent space, well worth it

One of the most pleasant stays I've had, that's why I came back and will come back every time I need to disconnect from the city and connect with nature and the countryside. I love that space.
