We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It was located in a more local area about 30-40 minutes from downtown Chania. We were surrounded by stunning views in the mountains. It was quiet, peaceful, and private. Sofia greeted us with such a friendly welcome and a delicious home cooked meal. She was very responsive too. We also enjoyed her local restaurant recommendations. The home itself is beautiful, it was lovely learning about its history and how beautifully traditional the home was kept yet equipped with many updated amenities. Note that renting a car is a must! We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

The villa was truly as described. When we arrived we were greeted by the hosts, who were incredibly warm and welcoming. The kitchen was well appointed and the area is perfect for families or really anyone looking to walk everywhere, including to a great beach and countless restaurants. Fantastic Villa, beautiful unspoilt surroundings. Lovely pool, spotlessly clean through the house. So much detail in place even with its own app with manuals of anything electrical to every bit of information you could possibly need! Would highly recommend

Andreas and Anna’s place was in a perfect peaceful location with beautiful views. The apartment was very clean and had all necessary amenities. Andreas provided wonderful recommendations, and was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Really lovely stay. The air BnB was very clean and pleasant and the hosts were friendly. They had also bought some spare pool toys for my son. They gave us great recantations of places to eat and visit. Villa is a little outside of chania but we managed without a car. Really lovely stay, thank you!

we stayed for one night in this beautiful villa and couldn’t have asked for better! It was private and peaceful, and check in was super easy! Our lovely hosts were so flexible with check-in and left us some treats for the stay, and then left us to be at home. It was so nice and clean and was so comfortable, we felt Right at home. An absolutely fantastic stay! The villa offers a family atmosphere – we immediately felt at home. The apartments are perfectly equipped, very clean and furnished with attention to detail. The pool and the barbecue area were highlights that we used every day. We would like to especially highlight the landlord: always available, warm and incredibly helpful. He was immediately available for every question. The absolute highlight was when he prepared a traditional Cretan salad for us - a wonderful gesture that delighted us all. We really lacked nothing. If you are looking for relaxation, comfort and genuine hospitality, you have come to the right place. We can fully recommend the villa and will definitely come back!

Excellent stay . Lovely family helped throughout. Home is beautiful

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

An unforgettable stay at Villa In Vivo! Our experience at the Villa was nothing short of exceptional. The villa itself is pure luxury - spotlessly clean, tastefully designed, and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a relaxing and carefree stay. What truly made our holiday special, however, was the incredible hospitality of our host, Panagoula. Even before our arrival, she was in touch with me, patiently answering all our questions and making us feel welcome from the start. We were greeted with such warmth at the airport, and upon arrival at the villa, we found delightful culinary surprises and a beautiful selection of fresh fruit waiting for us. The mid-stay cleaning service after four days was a lovely touch, and we are especially grateful for Panagoula’s tireless support after the stormy weather – and for the delicious, healthy meal she brought us during the week! You and your family are the best! Highly recommended – we’d return in a heartbeat. Thanks a lot!

Loved it!

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

absolutely loved staying here. the views were gorgeous. had a small hiccup with the water when we checked in but as soon as I messaged the host the water was up and working within 15 minutes. very responsive and very helpful. definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay for our honeymoon. It felt like being at a luxury resort! Christian even recommended in-home massages that we did on our first day after 20+ hours of travel and it was fantastic. The bed was super comfortable (I had back surgery so a good bed is important when picking a place) and with the total blackout curtains we got amazing sleep especially needing to adjust to the time change. We ate at Tersanas Tavern twice as it was an easy 15 minute walk away. You will need a car to get around staying here - and it’s more “off the beaten path” but we loved the privacy and space and wasn’t too far a drive to Chania. If you’re adventurous make sure to hike the Samariá Gorge - we organized it with a group (the drive is not for inexperienced driver!) it’s a 10 mile hike but so fun and beautiful! We cooked and stayed in a lot too I would highly recommend it to couples or families with children.

The stay was amazing! Amazing host and AMAZING location!! They were so helpful with telling us where to go and what to do and even gave us fresh eggs from their chickens as a welcome gift!! The views are unmatched and the pool was the best lounge area. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone going to Crete!!

Very nice place. It was exactly as presented on the pictures, and very well furnished with attention to detail. The location is about 20 mins from Chania old town and 6' from the airport. The host was very responsive and discreet. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

This Villa was outstanding in every way. The photos did not do it justice as the outside area was far more extensive than it appears. Both Artemis and Niki were very helpful especially when had a sandstorm after which they came and cleaned up the entire area including the pool. The local restaurant Eleanoras which is an easy walk away was good well worth a visit but book first. The two Supermarkets in Plaka were well stocked and gave us all we needed. Almyrida is also worth a visit to sit in a restaurant by the sea and the beach is shallow and sandy. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this Villa.
