We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It was located in a more local area about 30-40 minutes from downtown Chania. We were surrounded by stunning views in the mountains. It was quiet, peaceful, and private. Sofia greeted us with such a friendly welcome and a delicious home cooked meal. She was very responsive too. We also enjoyed her local restaurant recommendations. The home itself is beautiful, it was lovely learning about its history and how beautifully traditional the home was kept yet equipped with many updated amenities. Note that renting a car is a must! We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

Andreas and Anna’s place was in a perfect peaceful location with beautiful views. The apartment was very clean and had all necessary amenities. Andreas provided wonderful recommendations, and was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

Really lovely stay. The air BnB was very clean and pleasant and the hosts were friendly. They had also bought some spare pool toys for my son. They gave us great recantations of places to eat and visit. Villa is a little outside of chania but we managed without a car. Really lovely stay, thank you!

we stayed for one night in this beautiful villa and couldn’t have asked for better! It was private and peaceful, and check in was super easy! Our lovely hosts were so flexible with check-in and left us some treats for the stay, and then left us to be at home. It was so nice and clean and was so comfortable, we felt Right at home. An absolute superhost! The villa is beautiful. We enjoyed the time there very much and would choose the Canna Villa again at any time. Yannis is always available and a very friendly host.

We enjoyed a lovely family holiday at Petra Blue. It’s the private ground floor of a big villa property with expansive sea and mountain view’s. It’s a fantastic space with a large garden, BBQ area, pool area and an olive grove with a pair of resident donkeys. The apartment is well appointed with 3 en-suites, a well equipped kitchen and multiple indoor and outdoor dining places. Maria was a fantastic host. She lives in the house above, though you wouldn’t really notice. She was just the right amount of absent and attentive - not there, but available when you wanted her. There’s loads to visit in the surrounding area. Chania is a fantastic town, with an historic old town, Venetian harbour and a modern museum. Locally there’s a number of good beaches with a choice of beach cafes/restaurant’s. We’ve had a lovely time here and would particularly recommend Grill Taverna Nikos for a draft beer and local food experience and Marathi Beach with Patelantonis Seafood Restaurant for a quality

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

An unforgettable stay at Villa In Vivo! Our experience at the Villa was nothing short of exceptional. The villa itself is pure luxury - spotlessly clean, tastefully designed, and equipped with everything one could possibly need for a relaxing and carefree stay. What truly made our holiday special, however, was the incredible hospitality of our host, Panagoula. Even before our arrival, she was in touch with me, patiently answering all our questions and making us feel welcome from the start. We were greeted with such warmth at the airport, and upon arrival at the villa, we found delightful culinary surprises and a beautiful selection of fresh fruit waiting for us. The mid-stay cleaning service after four days was a lovely touch, and we are especially grateful for Panagoula’s tireless support after the stormy weather – and for the delicious, healthy meal she brought us during the week! You and your family are the best! Highly recommended – we’d return in a heartbeat. Thanks a lot!

Loved it!

A lovely, luxury appartment near the beach and about 30 minutes' walk from the old town of Chania. A well-equipped, clean and beautiful appartment, but above all the warm and friendly hostess Anastasia. She guided us around the area, brought local delicacies, stocked the fridge with food and even drove us to the grocery store with her car. We really enjoyed our stay at the appartment and can wholeheartedly recommend it to others. You certainly wont't be disapointed!

The villa is beautiful, the setting too. But there's not much to see in the area apart from La canne, or you have to go far

We stayed for 1 week at Megalith Villa and had an amazing holiday. From the initial communication with Andreas we felt well looked after and very confident to book. The check-in was fantastic; Andreas met us and showed us the villa explaining where everything was and how things worked (with the help of a translation app). He was super friendly. The villa was exactly as the photos show - calm, contemporary and well equipped with comfy beds, lovely shower rooms with good water pressure, and great a/c. There were also lots of lovely extras including coffee (pods & ground), tea, wine, bread, biscuits, fresh fruit, jam, honey, olive oil & Raki. Plus toiletries and dishwasher tablets/washing pods and plenty of loo rolls! The outside terrace got the sun all day and the pool was great too. Andreas allowed us to use the Villa pool towels at the beach. Location was great with beach/several lovely tavernas 5/10 mins walk. Best AirBnB we have ever stayed in: 5 stars!

We had such a fantastic time as a group of 8! Tony was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole stay, he made our vacation a breeze. There was plenty of space with the two villas and the views are incredible. The villas were well equipped to be able to cook in. Location is remote, very close to excellent nearby restaurants and easy drive over to Chania. Would highly recommend, thank you for the amazing hospitality!

The stay was amazing! Amazing host and AMAZING location!! They were so helpful with telling us where to go and what to do and even gave us fresh eggs from their chickens as a welcome gift!! The views are unmatched and the pool was the best lounge area. Will definitely be back and recommend to anyone going to Crete!!

Very nice place. It was exactly as presented on the pictures, and very well furnished with attention to detail. The location is about 20 mins from Chania old town and 6' from the airport. The host was very responsive and discreet. Highly recommended.

This was probably the nicest airbnb we have stayed in. We were not in the busy part of town which was perfect for our family. The walk is about a mile to the waterfront area but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants along the way and the view is magnificent. The pool was great and our kids loved feeding and naming the cats in the area. We had a wonderful time. If you are reading this review and your dates are available don’t way- book it!

What a wonderful stay!! Barbara and her family were amazing hosts - they really make you feel at home. The property is a beautiful oasis close enough to Chania town while also being a private escape with an incomparable back yard pool area overlooking Suda Bay. We never wanted to leave the property in the evening. The large pool and seating area was a lovely gathering place for our large group

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful villa! The accommodation was spotless and modern. On arrival, we were greeted with complimentary food in the kitchen. The villa had all the amenities needed, and communication was excellent throughout. A real highlight was having our own private pool. When we booked, we were given the contact details for Philos Concierge. For my birthday, I wanted to visit a spa but struggled to find availability at short notice. I reached out to Philos Concierge the day before, and they were absolutely amazing — they arranged a private massage at the villa, which was perfect. We rented a car from the airport, which I’d definitely recommend for ease. The villa is about 20–25 minutes from Chania town, where we tried local restaurants. We also visited Falassarna beach about an hour away which was beautiful, and spent time at nearby Kalathas Beach (10 minute drive away), which was calm and lovely. All in all, a truly memorable stay.
