Riverfront house in Ribeira Sacra. Casa Morriña

Morriña is a recently rehabilitated house (2019) on the bank of the Miño River, where the water “breaks” against the porch of the house. It has two exterior rooms with their own bathroom each and a large living room with fireplace and a large gallery overlooking the river on the top floor, and a kitchen with dining room and toilet, with access to the patio and porch, on the ground floor. Lighting and comforting have been paid to a lot. NOTE: If a single night is booked, it brings an increase of €50.

Las mascotas son bienvenidas. Antigua Rectoral. Con más de 400 años de historia. S.XVII. Cada apartamento es independiente. Todos con salida exterior a una pequeña plaza de la aldea. El jardín es compartido y está en la parte de arriba. Las entradas están en la parte de abajo de la casa. NO WIFI y poca cobertura.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Javier was so very friendly and helpful. He helped us navigate our way to Seceda which was in fact quite easy. The apartment is very comfortable, fitted with an excellent shower and the bed was so comfortable. Javier has lovingly restored his apartment, it’s is a real credit to his craftsmanship. We had a delicious supper brought to us, all using local produce. It’s a great place for hiking. We highly recommend a visit.

Unbeatable place to rest, you have to take everything there is no shop or bar in the village. The house is spectacular and has a beautiful churrasquera area with all the amenities. Rosa's service was unbeatable. We will definitely be back. The accesses are better from the Leon area than from the one in Lugo.

Estiven unha semana e foi xenial. Javier sempre estivo arento e respondía rápido ás mensaxes. O piso estaba limpo e contaba coas comodidades necesarias. A única pega, a altura dos teitos. polo resto todo moi recomendable.

Highly recommended: the house is a small work of art, cozy and very beautiful (authentic rural crafts of the region), the gazebo located in the meadow behind the house and next to a creek is a delight (breakfast, meals, dinners, barbecues, card games, books, evenings ...), the village is very well located (nice valley, several excursions, river beach, easy access to towns and surrounding areas) and surprises the offer it presents (eaten well and at ease! ... do not forget to inform yourself of the musical offer it presents, if it is interesting you will be surprised!). The best: the treatment and attention of Juanjo the landlord (thank you!). The worst: it will surely not be easy for it to be available, it is quite requested :-) PS: We spent 11 fantaticos days in it :-))
