Cottage holiday rentals in Piombino

Davide and Annalisa's cottage was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the pictures showed. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our last week in Italy. Breakfast out on the patio with the birds chirping and surrounded by nature was a great way to start the day. Davide lit the heater for the hot tub for us and we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening relaxing. Davide and Annalisa were full of good recommendations for restaurants and local places to visit. The cottage is within driving distance of so much - Pisa, Florence, Siena and of course San Gimignano just to name a few. All the amenities we needed were included, the WIFI was great and the cottage was very comfortable. I would highly recommended staying here and if we are ever in the vicinity we would certainly stay here again.

Lovely, peaceful, spacious place with a kind and generous host in Simone. He met us as we arrived and used his wagon to help move our luggage into the cottage. Big rooms, lots of space, many handy supplies in the kitchen. Good shower, comfortable bed. Enough bench space in the bathroom to put your things. Simone was really helpful with local recommendations for restaurants and where to park the car. One day he made a delicious tart and bought us in half. Would recommend staying at his place.

The house is very spacious and the garden is really very nice. The kitchen and the master bathroom (huge) are renovated. We really appreciated that the rooms were air conditioned especially since we were there in the hottest period. However, we were surprised to have to buy garbage bags, as there was only one for each trash can, except for the compost that had several. Same for toilet paper, there was just 1 per bathroom. The pool was very hot and the garden was very well-equipped. We had a crib for an additional charge of €10/day which was a little expensive. There were children's toys, but no high chair (good to know). You should know that the access is a little bumpy and that you have to open your eyes to see the bend for the path that leads to the house. It has the advantage of being very quiet and private.

Dreamy and beautiful place! You can't ask for better. A breathtaking view, nothing is missing inside, comfortable bed, etc. Not to mention Elena's warm welcome and the good wine 🍷 she left us as well as a large bottle of water.

Complete and very well-equipped accommodation. Its private terrace offers very good tranquility. Daniela and Alberto are very welcoming and friendly. 20 minutes to the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany! Grazie Daniela and Alberto!🙂

The atmosphere of Casale Acquaviva is really special, among kittens, quiet and pool...we had a great time :)

Jacopo was a great host! Available and kind, he immediately worked to solve small problems encountered when we arrived, wifi did not work x the modem fault, a small pot was missing x heat the milk (ruined by previous guests) and the bedroom did not have the curtain x darken the light, the day after he had already resolved the wifi failure, bought a new pot and also a new moka and put the curtain in the room. The house is in a quiet location, of course I can hear the cars passing but the new windows perfectly isolate the rooms and you can sleep without problems, the outdoor veranda where you can eat is very nice, the garden is large and fenced, our dog really appreciated. The house is equipped with a/c although in reality it is always fresh. The only downside is the lack of a small microwave or air fryer, to be able to heat or cook fast dishes, but this certainly did not ruin our vacation, we naturally adapted with the fires.

Our stay at Gabriele's place was great and we enjoyed the week we have with him. The house has a cinematic sweeping view of the Tuscan countryside and the pool just like that. The pool is perfect for cooling off on the hot summer days. The house is beautiful, rustic, clean and cool. Air conditioning also helps. We have been a family of 4, with children of 4 and 7 years. We have enjoyed it every day! Gabriele and his wife were very friendly, welcoming and always easy to reach if needed. They helped make our stay just perfect. Thanks to them! We can only recommend a stay with Gabriele and his “Le Capannacce”.

We spent a beautiful and relaxing week of vacation in the restored barn of Villa Parigini . The house is very quiet, cozy and comfortable and is well organized. It has a nice garden and pool to cool off and relax. Great location to visit Siena and the Chianti area. Giada and her mom are very kind and helpful Hosts. We look forward to coming back.

Our stay was wonderful. The location is stunning, set in the hills away from it all with an amazing view. The property is simple and authentic.

We booked this Airbnb as a big family vacation and wanted to spend a few nice quiet days in the middle of Tuscany. The house is super nice and the view from the pergola is really breathtaking. The pool was just the thing for the hot days. The house had a great Tuscan flair and we enjoyed our stay very much. The landlord was always easily accessible and very friendly. We will be very happy to come back and can only recommend the house.

This villa was so beautiful in a such a classic way. There were 5 of us, 2 couples in the upstairs room and one single in the pull out couch, near the kitchen. Both bathrooms are upstairs. One in the master and the other outside both rooms. We were only there two nights but wished we stayed in this region longer. The property was stunning, the pool was heaven, and the closest restaurant (4 min drive) Uscio e Bottega was the best meal I had my two weeks in Italy. (That’s obviously saying a lot). The local olive oil farm you can walk to surrounded by the sweetest Great Pyrenees’ was such a treat to find. We ended the visit with a tasting at Nittardi which is a 10 min drive from the property. It was an absolute hidden gem of a place rich with history, beautiful grounds, and amazing wine. We how to come back and stay here again’.

Giovanni's place fully meets the expectations given by the description and images. We were on site with 3 adults and 3 kids. That is also the maximum and rather very tight but that was clear to us beforehand. The house is a bit remote and about 2.5 km from the place Scarlino. We found it very quiet and in a wonderful location. We took the bike to the bakery in the morning to buy fresh rolls. However, the highlight is the fantastic large pool which was used extensively in the morning and in the afternoon before and after our beach day. Furthermore, you can also rest under a beautiful shade place under the huge palm tree by the pool. The nearest beach is about 10km away in Follonica. The beach is very large and long but of course very crowded during the summer holidays. We looked at and enjoyed almost all the beaches 30min away. The city of Pisa is also easily accessible in 1 hour 45 minutes and is very worth seeing

The house lives from Gloria, who is a perfect host and a soul of man. She personally accompanied us to the accommodation, explained everything to us and spoiled with homemade delicacies and Tuscan specialties: homemade bread and cookies, jam, fresh fruit, water in the fridge, Tuscan olive oil and coffee. Because it sometimes got quite cool during our stay in October, she also brought us wood and lighters for the open fireplace. We had three cozy days in the blue garden house, which certainly unfolds its charm in summer even more if you can use the garden and the beautiful terraces. The sea is only a few kilometers away by bike or car. Highly recommended is also the vegetarian restaurant, which Gloria runs together with her sister, about 1 km from the house.

We had a wonderful time at Vittoria‘s cottage and enjoyed our vacation a lot. The house with the garden + barbecue area and the pool are really great. Also the area around it is just so nice! The house is well equipped, although it could have been a little bit cleaner upon our arrival. Vittoria, Paola and Antonio were available the whole time and took great care of everything. Thank you again - we would definitely recommend this place!

A comfortable house with all the necessary elements to enjoy both indoors and outdoors, including the barbecue. Everything was impeccable and Laura was always attentive. Highly recommended for those who wish to relax in a place with beautiful views of nature.

The cottage is lovely, well-equipped, everything in the photos. Comfortable beds. Clean. Great garden, beautiful birds sing, you can really relax, sun loungers, gazebo. Very quiet neighborhood. The only downside - bikes are not suitable for use… I would love to go back! Definitely worth recommending.

A true haven of peace in Tuscany! The house is beautiful and well maintained, typical of the region, with a beautiful garden and a magnificent view of the Tuscan hills. It is impeccably clean and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. The environment is quiet, ideal for resting while being close to the charming villages in the area. But what makes this stay really nice are the hosts: warm, available and caring. They gave us valuable tips about places to visit and how to get to Florence. Antonio was very friendly, he let us know that the day we arrived was a holiday and he booked us a restaurant in the evening. Thanks to them, we felt right at home. A huge thank you for this beautiful experience — we will be happy to come back!

The place is just perfect, peaceful and beautiful, yet very close to San Gimignano ( 6 minutes drive), Sienna, Pienza, Florence, Montepulciano, Lucca, Volterra. The house is pretty, the view breathtaking. a large garden was loved by our dog. We would love to come back one day. Owners were very helpful and friendly. Thank you!

What a wonderful stay. This is the Tuscan cottage of your dreams. Quiet with a stunning view and smack in the middle of Chianti. We will definitely book again and Lucrezia was a wonderful host.

Antonella’s is a charming, quiet, and comfortable home in the Tuscan hills. We enjoyed many lovely meals on the deck overlooking the countryside during our two week stay. A car and a good navigation system are necessary here. Many small medieval towns, Florence, and the beaches are an hour or more away. If you park in one of lots on the outskirts of Florence, you can take the train or bus into the city to avoid parking downtown where it’s very crowded. The nearby towns, such as San Gimignano, Vinci, Deruta (the spot to buy pottery) all have public parking lots. If you appreciate quiet and quaint away from crowds, this is the place!
