Camille’s retreat is a true oasis, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the day. Even when relaxing inside, you feel as if you are in the middle of the garden thanks to the large and plentiful windows surrounding you. The only sounds we heard were the birds, who were also enjoying garden. Camille is welcoming and kind and has truly created a serene and lovely space fo repose. I was in-and-out, but it seemed like the kind of place I could linger for a spell. It’s a credit to the cottage and how much quality sleep I got that I have so little to report. Our hosts were very quick to respond and eminently reasonable. The location was also excellent. I’d certainly do it again.

we absolutely loved Chantelise's cottage. It was our first flight with our 7 month old and the space was perfect. Our son lived the micro farm. Such a beautiful space. We will be visiting again!

Great stay, comfortable home and just what we needed. Hosts were very friendly and helpful for any question we had. Bedroom bed was very comfortable and the house is decorated beautifully as well as very clean. Loved the window seat to relax by. Directions to house were great and helped us find it the first time up the hill. The home manual was very informative and we also loved all the local recommendations. I would definitely recommend this home for others needing to stay on this area.

Description and the pictures were all accurate. Very easy walking distance to the BART station with easy access into SF. House is very private and in a nice area. Polina was extremely helpful with making recommendations for SF. Would certainly recommend.

Charming, Well Appointed, Cottage Behind the main house, past a pathway strewn with various projects-in-the-works, as well as lush greens, is a delightful hideaway. Inside, a fully equipped kitchen, and dining area, which opens on to a living area with a large TV, and a DVD player with a very nice collection of films. The separate room had a very comfortable bed, excellent lighting, a bureau and closet, and a bathroom with a pleasant shower, and very nice towels. Liberal use of skylights brightens the cottage (but if you want less light the skylights are easily covered, controlled by a convenient wall switch.) The quality of products (kitchen and bathroom) is first rate. Although small, everything just works. There’s not a lot of extra room for anything. One needs some creativity to find space for luggage, or to find desk space for a computer. Totally worth it though. We’ll come again.

Very comfortable stay. Easy access. Heidi was responsive and welcoming. We will definitely consider staying there on another trip.

This cottage was the perfect, cozy getaway. Located among lush gardens in the idyllic El Cerrito neighborhood, we found our stay to be both relaxing and energizing. The rental space was comfortable, well-stocked, private and overall a wonderful place to vacation. We highly recommend this AirBnB option for all those looking to spend time in the SF area, and we hope to be back soon!

Jill’s place is fabulous. The deck overlooking the creek is even more beautiful and relaxing than we expected. A wonderful base for exploring Marin county, San Francisco, Point Reyes National Seashore and beyond. We would love to come back!

Andrea's apartment is compact but beautifully appointed. I was working in San Francisco, and having the beauty, convenience and peacefulness of Marin County was well worth the 25 minutes. Whole Foods is a couple of blocks away, and the richness of 4th street restaurants and shops make this the perfect pied-a-terre. Thanks Andrea!

My husband and I stayed in Anita’s home for a few days while in the area for a wedding. The photos of the private patio space and well equipped, modern interior were what drew us in and they didn’t disappoint. We had everything we needed including small touches that go a long way like bottled water (and miniature chocolates— a necessity for me personally). The home is well lit with natural daylight, while still being very turn-down friendly with nice shades and window treatments. We really enjoyed the patio space and the (gated) private entry. It was safe, clean and cozy, a very easy place to make home for several days+. While there, we even got a few glimpses and interactions with Anita’s PRECIOUS dog, Oisin and frankly wish we got to see more of him as we were missing our own dog at home (though he is much quieter, and we never heard a peep). Location was great, just a short distance from one of the top rated lunch spots in Sonoma. We’d definitely stay here again!

This was our first time staying in a guesthouse, and sharing a space with the owners, and I was completely blown away, we both felt right at home, so much so we didn’t wanna leave haha. Victor and Michelle gave us our privacy but also complete freedom to play music, relax on the patio, and roam around their absolutely beautiful backyard. We were able to come and go as we please and always know our things would be safe. The kitchen had everything you could need, the bed was extra comfy and the shower was a DREAM, the whole experience was incredibly cozy and peaceful. This was truly the best place we both have ever stayed, 1000% would recommend!!!

David‘s place was lovely. We really loved the backyard as it was very tranquil and very beautifully landscaped. If it hadn’t been such a windy week, we would have spent lots of time out there. The inside of that place was lovely and comfortable. David was a very nice host and very helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is magic! I was traveling alone and thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing and gorgeous space. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen had everything I needed. Outdoor living room was magic - especially at night with the fairy lights. I’d absolutely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Martin and his accommodations were the BEST!! We are already planning our next stay.

This place worked for what we needed, a place to crash for a wedding weekend, so we didnt spend a ton of time there. The views were beautiful and we were able to get in/out very easily. I will say the bed was a little hard if thats something that bothers you. Good spot for exploring marin county!

It was amazing. The scenery was beautiful! The trails were great, check out the one behind the stage at the park up the road. Sarah mentioned it to us and it was well worth the little walk!

The quaint little cottage was tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, nestled right in the backyard of the owner's home. We absolutely loved spending some quality time together! The beds were comfortable! They were nice and firm, just how I like it. The chickens were absolutely adorable, and they were being taken care of so well! We can't recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Quiet lower level apartment with plenty of amenities. I loved the location to my job site and it was 1/4 mile to an extensive trail running system that I fully enjoyed. The kitchen was pre-stocked with the basics to get started on any meal and the Wolf convection oven was wonderful to use as I had brought my own homemade sourdough bread. I had plenty of space to set up my computer and work yet it was a quick drive down from the hills to meet colleagues in town for dinner. Other reviewers found the apartment chilly (which I loved), however, I noted several small built-in electric heaters that would have quickly warmed up the rooms. And I didn't use the laundry room, however, for a longer stay that would have been very convenient. Thanks to the hosts for a lovely bottle of local wine too!

The Cornell Cottage is a wonderful place to stay. It is small but comfortable and so close to shops, restaurants and parks! It is super clean and has all the amenities you need for your stay. Pat and Stefan are both very proactive and responsive to any needs or questions you might have! Have stayed before and will definitely stay again!

Truly one of the loveliest places I have ever stayed at. Simply gorgeous and so spacious. Also, the host’s friend was nice enough to go through the trunk of my car to help me unlock it when I lost my keys. Best place I have ever stayed at with Airbnb.

This was a perfect stay in every way. It’s my second time here, and I look forward to returning to such comfort and convenience!

This was the closest we have felt to a home away from home. Andrew and Leigh have created a hilltop haven that I liken to Big Sur with a hint of Esalen. For those that have never been to either - it was a space to get back in touch with nature and ourselves. Andrew was so helpful and perfect in his communications in the Airbnb app and also in person. The full kitchen gave the option of cooking meals, the small touches of bathroom extras and the detergent for laundry was generous and so appreciated, and the bed was very comfortable. The little vanity desk was just right for working and putting on makeup in natural light. The highlights for us personally involved their animals! Feeding the goats, and meeting their dogs, Rufus and Heidi, was so fun. Heidi is a true boss. We hope to return one day to “Heidi’s Place” and highly recommend this wonderful retreat.
