Podere Piazza was the residence of Alessandro Cervini degli Spannocchi, who was appointed Archbishop of Siena on May 29, 1747. He was a Nobile di Montepulciano and Patrizier of Siena. The buildings of Podere Piazza still bear his coat of arms today. This also explains our little church, at the road junction, in front of it to the right to the pine avenue and to the left into the driveway.

Breathtaking location with views that are exactly what you want in the Chianti region. It was a beautiful place and was very nicely setup. Extremely responsive and helpful host. He provided recommendations and was quick to respond to questions. The house is centered nicely within the region and allows access to many different villages, wineries, and restaurants. An amazing experience and I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Francesco’s place. Right from the start of the booking and during the stay, Francesco has got to be the most responsive host on Airbnb. He is always so helpful. His apartment is brand new and has all the important features such as USB charging outlets, electric blinds, comfortable bed and a coffee pod machine with plenty of pods. There is also an external laundry which we did not need to use. We didn’t cook while there but it has everything you need to self cater. The availability of parking is so important and the location is right next to old town Siena. He was kind enough to offer a flexible check in and also allowed us to park our car on the premises for a couple of hours after check out. Don’t forget to wander behind the building for an awesome Tuscan view. High recommended place to stay!

We loved Paolo's house. The owners who live below are wonderful, charming and friendly, and the dog they have, very affectionate and well-behaved. The house is spacious, tastefully decorated and clean. It has two equipped bathrooms, which comes well if you travel in a group. It is well located to get to know Italian Tuscany by car. The beds are comfortable for rest, and the area is quiet to sleep peacefully. Even though a train passes nearby, the house is very well insulated and barely heard. There is a nearby restaurant where you can eat well and at a good price. We had a setback with the company that manages the rental, and after a somewhat extensive discussion for my taste, it was resolved.

The Wine Loft is incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The modern architecture is gorgeous and the views are magical. We traveled by trains and it was easy to take a taxi (arranged by the Wine Loft) from the station. Additionally, we enjoyed walking the country path through the woods and meadow to Bagno Vignoni. We highly recommend this beautiful property. The wines were a phenomenal addition to the stay.
