House description: On the ground floor there is the entrance and the first double bedroom with bathroom and shower ensuite. On the first floor is located the second room, which can act both as a living room or 2 ° bedroom thanks to a convertible sofa, with adjoining bathroom and shower. Finally, also on the first floor there are the dining room and the kitchen, in country style and equipped with stove, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, fridge and freezer. Beautiful place to be, ideally located, just a few stairs away from the middle of Modica, with some limitations on the view from the property. All fine from our perspective. We enjoyed our stay very much. Modica is a good starting point for journeys to Noto valley and a little quieter than Noto or Ragusa.

Giovanni was a perfect host. He was very flexible with our arrival time since we were not sure exactly when we would get there. He was very welcoming of us to his families home since the 1400s! He and his assistant took great care of us intelling us about the caves but also in giving us directions to local sites and restaurants. We only wish that we could’ve spoken in Italian so that we could’ve had a conversation with Giovanni. He was just delightful. Thank you. I highly recommend this experience.
