We loved staying at this old house on the mountain. The interior was charming and tasteful, with all the amenities and supplies we needed. Karen gave clear instructions on check in and was responsive. Only issue we had was with the old door and lock, you need some practice to use it but Karen and her husband helped us out. Also it is right across a beautiful church. During a few days there were some events happening in the church square so it was loud, but other than that we had no problem. Remember to bring eye masks for sleeping!

It was great staying here for four weeks. The house is comfortable and the location is very peaceful, but still close to everything. Nice garden and patio. Also very affordable. Would definitely stay again.

Great place. I felt very well. It's a place that offers great peace and tranquility. The house is beautiful and met my expectations. Both Mr. Richard and Mrs. Monica were very attentive and helpful. I hope to enjoy this cozy home again on my next trip. I highly recommend it in every way.

Nice place, large and comfortable rooms. The pool was where we enjoyed the most, as well as the barbecue area.

We are so SAD TO LEAVE and cannot wait to come back again to Carlos's FANTASTIC place. We stayed with our two toddlers for several months while in Quito area for school year, and we were welcomed like family by Carlos, his own family, and his amazing staff. The house is absolutely idyllic, with traditional white plaster and exposed wooden beams, lofted ceilings, and all the amenities one needs in kitchen (plus laundry in house!). Plenty of space for our family to spread out, and the massive patio and yard - really, a gorgeous garden of flowering and fruiting trees, palms, lovingly tended - gave us even more room to play. It feels like the world's most exclusive resort! Carlos was immediately responsive to any question we might have, and was extremely helpful offering advice for the surrounding area as well. Cumbayá (neighborhood) is precious, and Carlos's house is in the heart - we walked to the fruit market, the bakery, playground, reservoir park, plaza. We miss living there already!

Terrific stay, apartment has everything needed for a good, comfortable, secure stay. Great WiFi, hot water, communication, etc. Lovely, modern building in a great central location, so much is safely walkable (restaurants, cafes, shopping, movies, park), yet quiet because it’s on a cul-de-sac. Even a secure parking space in the private garage! Highest recommendation

We had a great time, the apartment is very nice, super comfortable, very well suited and complete, very quiet, very well located and a safe place to get around and with many options for restaurants, bakeries, ice cream shops, close to shopping centers and squares, very easy to get to. Everything was impeccable. Xavier is super friendly and always responded very quickly. Definitely a recommended place, which we will surely return to. =)

The response is very fast. The host is very nice and helps with any problem. He has a solution for everything. Unfortunately we did not get to stay at his property due to a flight cancellation, but we got to know an amazing person and he understood the situation and handled it amazingly.

Excellent location, a very quiet area, there were two building guards who were very attentive. I would definitely stay again.

Very nice apartment close to sights of the historic centre. Clean and comfortable. It was great to have Netflix too! Andrea was a responsive host. While close to the historic centre, the hilly street where the apartment is located can feel a bit quiet and isolated so it’s good to be cautious, especially if walking alone.

Excellent location close to the most visited sites and shopping centers, the place is very cozy clean and beautiful, the host was always on order and helped us with everything.

The place was clean and bed was comfy. Thankfully check in was easy and available even at 9pm, so if you have a late day flight you're safe. You're also in a good location so mall is right down the street, movies are near by, and numerous other places near by as well. The stove and oven work well, and having a washer and dryer is super useful. And the owner responded to all my questions and was responding at a reasonable place as well. The only complaint i can have about it, is why are all the knives dull and why not chefs knife, made it tricky to make food between me and my fiancée. But still over all as a place to stay for me and my girlfriend, who i was visiting and purposed to, it was a nice place that we both enjoyed. I would personally recommend it very highly.

One of the best apartments in Cumbayá. Safety is great; the staff is always attentive and willing to help. As a point to consider, the internet signal can become intermittent in the bedroom, which at certain times is somewhat tedious.
