We had a nice vacation at Ferdinand's house, the property very nice, cozy, close to the village, the pools of the whole very clean. Ferdinand is always attentive and friendly.

The stay is nice and has very good facilities to enjoy with family and friends. The place is clean and everything is very organized. However, it should be noted that it has 3 bedrooms and there is an open room with beds, because that detail reduces privacy for those who sleep in that space. Otherwise, the facilities are very nice.

Our stay with Ana’s family was very nice. It was A sweet family that shared their space and delicious humitas with us. Our 2 year old daughter enjoyed playing with their children. Thanks for the hospitality

If you’re looking for a place big enough for a family, with adequate space and facilities, Sandra and Timo’s place has it all! We were just two guys, but really enjoyed the space and amenities. One room has a King bed with loft, the other two twins and loft. Fully stocked kitchen with full sized fridge and gas stove and fast internet if you need to work. Gorgeous grounds, with beautiful gardens filled with birds. Marcela, Sandra’s sister came to make delicious dinner and breakfast and you should definitely take advantage of her skills! We only had a couple of days, but brought our bikes for a nice ride one day and then hiked up to Cascada Escondida the other. The river is said to be one of the best for kayaking and rafting in Ecuador, and the area has some of the best birding as well. Horseback riding, coffee farms, cheese making-there are activities galore! You won’t want to walk to Baeza or Borja, but that’s k d of the point, isn’t it? Will definitely be back to explore some more!

Excellent place, everything was very clean, we had no problems getting there and quite quiet, to go with the family, consider that there are 3 dogs that are a complete love.

We really enjoyed with my family when staying at Camila's house. The house is well equipped and very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The property is very nice, with ample walking spaces. Ideal for disconnecting from the city and connecting with nature. There is a buoyant dog on the property and other dogs of the neighboring property, all very quiet. My daughter enjoyed playing with them. Access is by a cobblestone road; we had no difficulty getting to. Camila was very kind, the communication was very fluid and gave us some recommendations from the area. The caretaker Jose and his wife are very attentive.

Great place! If your looking to get out of the city and be close to nature. Place is as described in the photos. Decent walk(steep hill some may find) into nearby shops on the main Street. Local buses head out every 5 minutes from the main Street which is very convenient to hear into Otavalo. May want ear plugs for late evenings and mornings as the local dogs can get a bit annoying. Highly recommend place!

Villa Doris is a magical place to enjoy with the whole family or friends. It has all the comforts and is in the middle of nature. The best thing is that you can observe squirrels, birds and even opossums! Lorena, her host, is very sweet and attentive. Everything was perfect!!

Our family truly enjoyed this home. I am Ecuadorian and my wife is American. This home gave us the best of both worlds. All the feelings of staying at a cozy place back at home with all the amenities and convenience of an Airbnb in the US. The place was well stocked with everything we needed and if it was not there the host ensured we got what we needed. I am looking forward to staying here again sometime in the future. I have stayed at several Airbnbs in the US and Ecuador and this one is definitely in the top 3 for both countries.

Perfect place close to the lake The house has a spectacular view and at night it lights up with the stars. Francisco was very helpful before the trip with food recommendations. The lady in the house cooks very rich and is very helpful for everything. We had a great time and look forward to coming back soon!

The place is beautiful, very private and with a long list of activities to do. It makes you feel at home, ideal for going with family and friends. The host is very helpful and helps you with everything.

Filou's place has really amazing view for the valley. Apartment is great and well planned. In a peaceful area with city near by, you can find in neighborhood few cool restaurants and pubs. High recommendations!

I highly recommend staying at the Hacienda. Everything about the place was fantastic. The amenities, the food, the surrounding area, the staff and the activities were are superb! You will not be disappointed!

Sonia's accommodation is great for switching off, relaxing and hiking. It is 45 minutes on foot to the village but that did not bother us. Great value. Total nice family. everything great

Hosts are very proactive and willing to have a comfortable stay. Faced with a completely alien event such as a landslide along the way, they looked for every possible way of what we can get from and additional that showed their generosity in having a pleasant stay then inconvenient of the road.
