“Excellent! Recommended, Andres very friendly and attentive, the place very well located 5 min from the airport, comfortable and pleasant facilities, surely return!”
Modern style, fully illuminated. In the afternoon there is usually some wind but in general the climate is mild, a few degrees warmer than Quito. They can be groups of adults and children. However, it is important to point out that it is a space that is taken care of with care and respect to trees and plants for which it is expected to be treated with great affection and care.
“Eva's place was amazing! We stayed here coming into Quito late at night and she arranged for someone to pick us at the airport. The housekeeper Wladimir was absolutely incredible. He booked us taxis everyday, made sure we got back home safe, and even picked us oranges from their garden in the morning! Eva was also such a great help. Excellent communication. Would highly recommend :)”
Hacienda Chan Chan is a working dairy farm nestled in the mountains high above Cuenca. The TreeHouse is even higher up, possibly the world's highest (elevation) tree house. It is remote and secluded. The ideal get away for adventurous hikers. The farm offers beautiful views, fresh food including homemade cheeses, yogurt, and cured meats (seasonal), hiking, and an up-close look at daily farm-life. We are close enough to explore Cuenca (35 mins), but far enough away to escape it all.
“This place is just « AMAZING »!!! We loved it... from the beginning to the end. The nature is fantastic, the people are son gentle and fascinating, the air is so pure, the trails are magic.... and the food is incredible! If you go to Ecuador, you need to stop there for at least two nights. Julie and Luke are just so everywhere, taking care of everything, answering all our questions and suggesting things to do and places to see around. Easy and cheap to come from Cuenca by taxi directly to the farm, took 40 minutes and cost 15$. What an exceptionnel experience, it’s a hit of our trip. Long life to Hacienda Chan-Chan and thank you to share your paradise.”
