Life is better on the summit! 1 mile from the entrance to Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort. Sitting on an acre of natural meadow and marsh land, the property includes the American River headwaters. Enjoy our remodeled interior w/ fireplace and rear deck with hot tub & fire pit. In the winter, we get a lot more snow than in the basin. Typically 15 min to the Y and 25 min to Stateline. Note the cabin is *on* Hwy 50 (some road noise) and is not "in town". This gets you closer to Sac and Sierra at Tahoe.

This is an ideal romantic vacation spot for couples. It is located in a quiet, serene neighborhood and has a large deck to enjoy. There is usually snow in winter. We enjoyed our stay at this quiet, peaceful cabin! The interior was cozy and comfortable, and the real treat was hanging out in the hot tub and taking in the beautiful views of the forest and mountains. It was a reasonably quick drive to town while still being removed enough to feel “away from it all”. We would stay there again.

Incredible property - the house was beautiful, included all the essentials and was beautifully decorated throughout (may have to be careful with little kids - lots of things to grab if you’re not watching). The property and surrounding meadow was incredible - and it was fairly easy to get into the main part of town. Would definitely come back here if I get the chance.

This was the perfect location for a big group of people. 30 minutes to Kirkwood and very close to Sierra at Tahoe. Its also close in proximity to South lake Tahoe and far enough from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the nature. Would definitely be visiting again.
