This was the perfect gateway for the weekend. we wanted a quiet country side home to relax and this was the place. the breakfast served in the morning was outstanding. the hot tub and sauna were the highlight of the stay. the hosts are kind and very friendly. I appreciated the freedom of amenities. it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I would highly recommend this b&b to anyone looking to get away from the city and slow down for a few days.

Lesley and Josh's Airbnb made our home away from home a welcoming experience during a difficult time, while going through lengthy home repairs. We found the self-contained apartment to be very clean and well outfitted for all of our needs. If we were in need of something, they were more than happy to accommodate. We greatly appreciated that the house was on an older established street in a safe and quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance to the downtown core. Lesley and Josh were perfect hosts and they both made us feel welcomed throughout the many weeks of our stay with them. We certainly would not hesitate to highly recommend them to family, friends and others. As well as being personable and professional, they were genuinely kind and understanding people. We had such a fantastic stay at Dave and Bonnie's place! We decided to make a trip up to lakefield and wanted to get away and it was perfect. It's right beside the river if you want to ride the trail but its also perfect if you want to just stay in. The hot tub and sauna is such a great combination to enjoy and enough amenities indoors that you can cook a nice meal and enjoy a movie. The bed was perfectly soft and the washroom was great. They were very responsive and we can't wait to go back. If you're taking a trip to Lakefield, definitely stop looking and book this!

Our stay at Stoney Lake was nothing short of amazing, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Patti and Dennis. From the moment we arrived, they were exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. The beauty of Stoney Lake left our family in awe, and Dennis was kind enough to give us a memorable boat tour, which we will cherish. The suite was impeccably designed, providing a relaxing atmosphere that truly felt like a home away from home. We made full use of the amenities, enjoying the fire pit, BBQ grill, and badminton net. The beach was beautifully maintained, and we couldn’t resist spending hours there, making the most of everything it had to offer.

We had great time at this place. Patricia and her husband Denise was very nice to us. We had a warm welcome from Patricia. My wife liked when she called our baby cute pumpkin. Great place.

We really enjoyed staying at Jeffs place for the long weekend! Jeffs guesthouse is perfect if you’re looking to spend some time by the lake. It’s very clean and well decorated, with all the amenities you need for a short stay. Jeff was really friendly, accommodating, and responsive, providing us with great recommendations for activities in the area. We used Jeff’s kayaks and paddle boards to explore the lake and spent time at one of the many nearby beaches and trails. We would definitely book this spot again!

Me and my friends had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, peaceful, and fully equipped with everything we needed. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful sunset views, and the gorgeous fire-pit which made the evenings especially memorable. The decor was also a standout, with unique antique touches throughout that gave the space so much character and charm. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into creating a welcoming and comfortable environment. The amenities were top-notch, and the location was quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, always available if I needed anything. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and well-curated stay. I’d love to come back!

Cassandra was excellent. Prior to the 3pm check-in, she let me know things were running slightly behind with the cleaning - this was no issue for me, but Cassandra still offered to send money back for the late check-in and also allowed an extended check-out time, which was very generous. Besides that very minor hiccup, everything else was outstanding - place was clean and as described, Cassandra was very proactive and responsive with her communication, made sure we felt at home, and even reached out to ask if we needed anything when she had to make a grocery run. She was a SuperHost as described, and I'd stay there again if I'm ever in the area again. Thank you Cassandra.

Amelia and Jeff have a lovely garden level unit which accomodates 3 people, is within walking distance of several shops, and allows closer access to spots such as the downtown area and the river Would recommend!

Our stay at Craig and Susan’s place was amazing! The cottage is beautiful and has everything you’d need. The kitchen was stocked, just bring your food and you’re set! The pool was warm and very enjoyable. The scenery was breathtaking and peaceful. Craig and Susan were very welcoming. They were amazing, kind and helpful hosts! The delicious welcome cookies and snacks were a beautiful touch. We will definitely be back!

This space was perfect — exactly as the description lists. No need to ask questions as the space was equipped with clear instructions and easy to access. Qwyn was super helpful to share local recommendations and very responsive. When visiting we’d stay again. Nice location and very peaceful.
