House holiday rentals in Peso da Régua

Lisbon was nice, but our vacation started here. Having this beautiful home and a car, we explored the region and had a great time. Owners recommendations led to our favorites experiences on the trip. Can't recommend enough. The pics don't do it justice either, and the pics are amazing.

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

What an incredible place! This would have to be one of the best Airbnb I have stay at! It was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed. Daniela was the most incredible host. Not only did she give us incredible suggestions, she helped book a few things for us. She went out of her way constantly to make sure we were able to enjoy the area. She made our experience in the Duo Valley incredible and very memorable.

It felt like home when we returned after 6 six years. The place of Laurence & Jorge is in line with the pictures and the view is amazing. The house has everything you need, we really loved the mattresses and the pillows. The house is surrounded by a large garden, and we liked the privacy and the fruit trees in the garden. Getting into the house is easy and communication is perfect. We will definitely return again! We recommend to do some groceries before you arrive, the nearest supermarket is a 15 min drive away. The view here is incomparable! The views over the Duoro River are amazing. It’s so close to wineries and winery tours too. There’s a supermarket close by with all you’ll need. It was hot the day we arrived and the pool overlooking the valley was pristine and oh so refreshing! Our host did a great job of communicating and made us feel right at home. I could have stayed here a lot longer!

This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.

A estadia correu incrivelmente bem. Estavamos com expectativas elevadas, mas conseguiu superar as mesmas. A casa está muito bem localizada e a decoração é maravilhosa! Por mim, o João e a Debora são impressionantes como anfitriões, não deixaram nada ao acaso e sempre disponíveis para ajudar. A repetir com toda a certeza!

This was a wonderful stay that offers you the best of both worlds. A quaint, peaceful rural home yet driveable to bigger tourist areas. Jose was such a welcoming host and we appreciated our arrival treats and his graciousness even with our late arrival. The history to the home is unique and adds another layer of warmth to the stay. The home was clean and the beds comfy. The shower had good pressure and a good supply of hot water. It has a functional kitchen as well as a grill outside that we made good use of. The pool was absolutely lovely after a long day of touring. We enjoyed evening games of euchre in the loft area but note that even if you aren’t tall, remember to duck as there’s a low beam. We highly recommend this stay and would return without hesitation!

We've had an amazing 4 days here. It's just a perfect location and we felt at home here. The pool, the view, the garden with grill - everything was just perfect. The only 'negative' things, if you can call them negative, is that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedrooms, and that the parking is a bit tight for a large car. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway in a beautiful location.

Olivier was a wonderful host, very helpful with recommendations of all sorts (food, trips, events, wine,..) and they even brought me fresh tea (herbs and fruits) from their garden for me to brew! The house itself was spotless, beautifully designed and simply great to be at.

It is a lovely stay over in a village away from crowds, shops and restaurants. Wonderful to have parking at the house and friendly reception. Nice garden. Close to the highway but tricky to find even with Manual's video and google maps. We enjoyed the stay and definitely recommend!

Henrique is an amazing host and responds quickly to questions. Great dinner suggestions and the food was fabulous! Would absolutely stay here again. The view from the house is spectacular!

O alojamento encontra se numa aldeia bastante sossegada no meio do alto Douro vinhateiro e rodeado por vinhas. O único serviço disponível na aldeia é uma pequena associação por baixo da Junta de freguesia, que funciona em horário parcial ( o que também prejudica a privacidade da piscina). Apesar disso existe vendas de pão ambulante. As grandes superfícies comerciais mais próximas ficam na Régua, a cerca de 15 minutos de automóvel. Os Hosts foram muito simpáticos e prestaram todos os esclarecimentos necessários. O alojamento é excelente para umas férias de descanso em família.

Estadia excelente. A descrição e fotos correspondem exatamente com a realidade. A Dona Cristina, tal como o Bruno, estiveram sempre a disposição e todas as manhãs recebíamos pão fresco e compotas/marmeladas típicas para experimentarmos. Toda a família foi muito acolhedora e tivemos o prazer de conhecer a adega e provar todos os vinhos produzidos. Um espaço calmo e ideal para uma escapadinha para relaxar. Sentimo-nos em familia. Iremos voltar sem dúvida. Muito obrigada Bruno, Cristina e restante família.

Já é o segundo ano que visitamos este lugar. Há algo mágico nele e sobretudo para quem trabalha na cidade, é o lugar perfeito para poder desligar. Dá-nos saúde e faz sonhar. Destaco mais uma vez a piscina e a vista. Acordar com vista para o vale é sensacional. A casa tem todas as comodidades e está muito bem equipada. O espaço é limpo e muito acolhedor. Espero voltar para o ano.

La propriété était magnifique. Nous sommes arrivés en avance et ils se sont empressés de tout nettoyer. On nous a offert la propriété avec le jacuzzi, et il y avait toutes les commodites nécessaires pour notre bébé : chaise haute, jouets, lit… le jacuzzi devant les grandes fenêtres était une expérience inoubliable. Endroit central pour explorer le douro. On a répondu à tous nos besoins, on nous a offert du porto et des fruits locaux. C’est évident que ces gens ont à cœur le bien être de leurs invités, on recommande sans hésitation.

Náhir and her Sister are great hosts responded very quickly when we needed help. Their place is very cozy and central highly recommended when staying in Porto.

Mario and Cila’s home was one of the most beautiful I have stayed out. The house was an old olive oil mill, converted into a modern paradise. They thoughtfully incorporated the property’s history into the renovation. The home is beautiful but the grounds are next level! There is a running stream running along side and under the house with lush grounds and a wonderful pool. There is also a walking path to a little park with a waterfall! Super peaceful property. If you are looking for a getaway, look no further! Mario and Cila are super kind, gracious hosts! They welcomed us themselves and proactively provided tips and recommendations. Super appreciative of their hospitality.

Ce logement correspondait parfaitement à nos besoins. Tellement que nous avons ajouté une nuit supplémentaire. La vue directe de la terrasse vaut le déplacement (vallée du Douro). De plus, José nous a donné une belle suggestion de dégustation de vins (à 5 minutes du logement) où les conseils et les vins étaient parfaits. Nous recommandons ce logement sans aucune hésitation

Pedro was a great host ! Super responsive and helpful . The place was beautiful , the view was incredible . A little piece of paradise ! The apartment was super cozy and perfect for what we needed. It Was ready for our toddler with a crib , high chair and books. Beyond expectations !
