My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

Fantastic property, not new but really well kept and looked after. Spectacular outside space with grape vines over a pergola. Pool was a lot bigger than expected and a nice touch. Fabulous greeting and a welcome basket with local treats and Angiolo’s wine. Great location for touring Tuscany. We would definitely go back!

Ilaria was a wonderful host. The house is located on top of a hill, with a huge and very nice garden and wonderful views. Perfect for kids to play.

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

Hands down our favorite part of our two weeks in Italy! Casa Al Poggio was our Tuscan home away from home. We went and did all the things… Florence, Cinque Terre, San Gimignano, Montepulciano, etc. But coming “home” to this place was the best. So peaceful and picturesque looking across the valley at the Badia Di Passignano. We cooked many meals in the well stocked kitchen and my husband loved the rustic BBQ. Fresh herbs in the garden and the smell of jasmine blooming on the patio. Book yourself extra time here…you won’t want to leave! Emanuele & Tamara are the kindest people. Take them up on all of their restaurant recommendations. Everyone one was a hit! We can’t wait to go back.

Such a beautiful spot to explore the beautiful scenery and villages of Tuscany

We spent almost three weeks with our 10-month-old daughter in Franco and Gracia's apartment and had a great time there. The house is conveniently located for excursions in the north of Tuscany, but at the same time quiet and peaceful on a mountain in nature; you have a great view and a great garden! The apartment itself is exactly as described in the pictures; cozy, with plenty of space and a really well-equipped kitchen. With your own garden, you have a lot of private space. Franco and his wife were outstanding hosts. Very friendly, helpful and always available. The instructions to reach the apartment were also clear and understandable. The only small disadvantage of the great location on the mountain is that it is difficult to get away from there on foot (especially with a stroller), but you always have to drive by car. Overall, we are absolutely satisfied and can fully recommend this insider tip; we had a great vacation

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

Our stay at Marina and Paolo’s hilltop home in the Tuscan hills was nothing short of magical. The house is a true piece of paradise, immaculately clean, with breathtaking views that left us in awe every day. Marina and Paolo were incredibly kind hosts, making us feel completely at home. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the entire experience immersed us in the charm of Tuscan life. We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!

We had a great time at Sara’s place, she welcomed us in with some eggs from the hens that they keep in the garden. There’s lots of attractions for kids, like chickens, 2 donkeys and some furry friends, a playground that my daughter really enjoyed playing in and balls and toys. The apartment is beautiful, the grounds are so peaceful and the view is spectacular. There’s quite a bit to do within 30 minutes drive. I wish we could stay longer. I’d like to visit again in the summer 😍

The listing of the accommodation does not reflect the beautiful landscape of the accommodation! There are countless hidden spots in the garden where you can relax. We liked the daily bike ride to Lucca with the bikes provided by Anita the most. Call me by your name scenes in real life! Also great was the proximity to the beach Marina di Vecchiano, which is considered an insider tip compared to the crowded beaches near Viareggio. The accommodation's grill is perfect for a cozy barbecue when you've had enough of pizza and pasta. The kitchen is fully sufficient to conjure up any dish at lunchtime. There is also a dartboard, which is a great way to spend the afternoons. The only disadvantages for us were: Unfortunately, the pool was a bit low at 1.10m. The area has a slight mosquito infestation, and Anita provided us with material to counteract this. All in all, a wonderful accommodation!!

Staying at Lorenzo and Eva’s place was an absolute highlight of our trip to Tuscany! The location was exceptional, it offered breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside that we’ll never forget. Just a short drive away is the charming town of Vinci, where you’ll find everything you need to make the most of your stay. The wine and olive oil tasting experience is an absolute must—it added such a special touch to our visit. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with excellent amenities that made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Lorenzo and Eva were both very professional, and their communication was always prompt and helpful. We can’t wait to return to Vinci and would love to stay at their place again!

Giuliani is a wonderful host who made us feel as if this slice of paradise was our home, too. The location, the meticulously restored home, the views all make for the ultimate Tuscan experience. But Giuliani and her husband bring it all together with their warmth and attentiveness. It was a tough place to say goodbye to — for now. If you are looking for a Tuscan experience, this is it. And remember to ask for the hosts’ home-cooked meal. It is a culinary experience in the very best sense.

Christine and John were the best hosts, making this incredible location even more enjoyable. They went above and beyond, recommending restaurants, wineries and experiences that made our trip unforgettable. Christine also helped us get our lost luggage back, ringing the airport for us and liaising with a driver in Florence to pick it up and drop it off to us. Incredible service. Absolutely recommend!

We spent 3 fantastic days in Daniele's villa, immersed in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. We were 9 friends and the house was perfect for our stay: spacious, clean and equipped with all comforts. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were the stars of our relaxing days, while the indoor sauna added a special touch to the evenings. The common areas are spacious and well organized, and the outdoor porch is ideal for a barbecue. Daniele was an impeccable host: always available and attentive, he made us feel welcome right away. We recommend this stay without hesitation, perfect for those seeking peace, comfort and a beautiful place to share moments with friends.

John was a great host. The villa had everything you could possibly need and the photo’s don’t do it justice. Amazing property and we had a great time with a group of 12 friends. Could not recommend it more.

Christine’s place was exactly what we were looking for before a busy weekend of wedding festivities – calm and quiet! Stunning views from the outdoor terrace and a lovely interior. She recommended a nearby restaurant, and we had an excellent dinner. We had a little bit of confusion upon entering, but Christine was very responsive and it was cleared up immediately.

This was a fabulous place, very cozy, lovely bath soaps, coffee, and very safe inside. The hosts were veryy responsive, checked in with me, and gave great recommendations. It is located very near the piazza and activities. I walked everywhere. The only thing I want to mention is that there is an ethnic grocery store outside next to the building and for some reason many men hang around there outside most of the day and into the evening. I am an independent female and chose to go into the store so, overall, it did not bother me and I did not feel unsafe. The men talked loud and played music outside so customers need to know to allow for that, but they were not bothersome. I played music softly from my phone or earbuds. I loved the mechanical shades that lower to allow for sleeping in. The air conditioner worked very well….thankful for it! The recommended restaurant just a few doors down with garden seating was divine. I would stay here again! I would stay here again.

The room was clean, and the location was fantastic because of its proximity to the station (Montecatini Centre). The host also friendly and nice; he even listed some recommendations around the place. Thank you!

This is my third visit to the Lucca area, but my first time to stay inside the city walls. Fabrizio’s apartment is perfect with respect to location, style, and quality. The terrace is such a haven. Any meals we cooked were eaten out there, and a glass of wine in the evening is a must while you listen to the lively vibe of Lucca.

We absolutely loved it! The views from the apartment are amazing - the terrace might be the most beautiful place to have dinner. The town is very cute and idyllic as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Fabios place and were able to wind down perfectly. The house is located in a beautiful small village, perfect for relaxing and getting away from big city trouble. Fabio is a great host, we felt really welcomed and had exactly the vacation we hoped for. Thanks !

After you have followed the path over the mountain, you are greeted by the house dog, the cat and the owner. The apartment looks like it comes from an Italian novel with beautiful furniture, books, art, and fairytale atmosfeer. We had breakfast and dinner on the terrace whilst the fireflies danced in the garden. Florence, Pisa and the beach are only a 1 hour drive away. The hosts were very friendly, responded quick and we felt very welcome. We would come again and again!
