The apartment was amazing! Checkin instructions were thorough and easy to follow, even included a picture to make it foolproof. The apartment was everything it said in the add. On entry, it was very clean and tidy. Beds were very comfortable and the washer and dryer were great. The location was amazing. In the downtown area, surrounded by restaurants. Overall an amazing stay and would highly recommend to anyone coming to Elizabeth City.

The studio apartment was just as described. It had everything we needed. We loved the downtown location, the proximity to restaurants and shops, and the ease of getting in and out of the building. We also appreciated the assigned parking space. We definitely recommend Donnie’s place!

We stayed in the Library Room and were blown away by the set up Donnie and Olivia have. Private patio and lounge with a biergarten open certain nights. The Library Room also had a dedicated parking space available, and a few blocks walk to all the downtown hot spots. Elizabeth City is an absolute sleeper of a location. Lots to keep you entertained in the downtown area, and only an hour from Outer Banks. 10/10 would not hesitate to book again.

This was a super cute room that was clean and decorated well. There are many restaurants, places to shop, and things to do within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

Victoria's place was perfect for our work/ play stay. Dog friendly is always a plus, we travel with our boy most places. Very easy to find, good restaurant and only 2 miles from them. Any extra things we needed to know, Victoria communicated to us right away. We will stay again.

Beautiful house and furnishings. Gorgeous views of the sound. Great game room and separate office space. Especially appreciated the elevator for the older folks. Would rent this house again

I stayed 3 months at this location. Brenda and Graham are very kind and accomodating hosts. They're very quick to address any problems, and they keep the house clean. Also, they have lots of information about fun things to do in the area. The location is pleasant and historic, but it's important to know that it's rural and without cell service. However, Brenda and Graham have great internet, and a more urban area like Suffolk is only half an hour away. Highly recommended!

The traffic going in and coming out is always a nightmare. If you take that out of the equation, the outer banks is perfect. We’ve been vacationing in different homes for the last 30 years and this one was amazing. It had a better stocked than my personal home. Nothing in the home looked to be secondhand, the space is phenomenal as each bedroom has its own private bath. The communal space absolutely perfect. By far my favorite home I’ve ever stayed in.

Great, quiet place right at the bay. Very clean, free of clutter, well stocked for a family stay, all the essentials were available. Mari offered and did a great job with a free yoga class. Overall, you will like it if you want a private space somewhere in between OBX and Virginia Beach.
