Holiday rentals with lake access in Périgord

We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

Wedding weekend at the Château de Brie (if you are sightseeing in the area, this beautiful estate is worth visiting) we enjoyed our few hours of rest in Jeannette's very peaceful little house. We couldn't meet but we had very good exchanges with Jeannette to prepare for our arrival.

Well-maintained, cozy stay with a warm welcome by Diana. We enjoyed the two terraces: one in the back for coffee and breakfast in the morning and one for tea and a beer in the afternoon under the exuberant blue rain. A nice, quiet base for beautiful trips and walks in the beautifully green Limousin.

The house is perfectly designed and thoughtful. It is bright, the materials are of quality and chosen with great taste, you will also find a high-end appliance. We were greeted with great warmth by Mariadèle The garden calls for relaxation and relaxation, the birds will keep you company throughout your stay. Each of the 3 bedrooms is tastefully decorated and have a very spacious walk-in shower. The master suite (pink) also has a bath and toilet Step-free and very spacious, the house is ideal for accommodating the elderly. I would of course recommend this rental which is a good value for money compared to the services offered.

A perfect stay, from the first contact to departure. A great, lovingly renovated and furnished house with a beautiful terrace in the middle of the village... in the morning at breakfast the view of the first excursion boats and canoes, in the evening hot air balloons just above the river and village. We enjoyed many hikes and sightseeing in the immediate vicinity and then always looked forward to "coming home" to the vacation home. The contact with Anne was nice and uncomplicated… everything great and highly recommended!

We were hosted very well and had a great stay in this well-equipped little house (the hot tub and terrace in the evening after a day of visiting, it was great). The house is well located close to Sarlat and close to the most beautiful gardens and castles in the Dordogne. We had our 2.5 year old daughter with us, no problem (paying attention to the stairs).

We had a great stay at Annette's place, a very welcoming and available host. The house is perfect for a small family, nothing is missing and the setting is peaceful and pleasant. Thank you for everything, we will most certainly be back!

The apartment is tastefully decorated, and very clean. It matches the description and photos in every way. He is calm. Pascal was very responsive in our exchanges and his explanations were very clear. We will keep the address for a future stay!

The apartment was exactly as it looked. It felt perfect for our stay and with very responsive hosts it made everything easy. Even with my engine blowing up on my car I was supported and advice given to allow me to get back to my destination after my stay. Could not recommend any higher if I tried.

It was simply an amazing experience to be with Karine and her family..They were all so super nice and Karine went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We got a lot of great ideas for where to go and what to experience and if you just want to stay on site, there was a lovely pool and lovely atmosphere. Although my stay was short, the studio was very comfortable with so many amenities you can feel at home

Very nice accommodation with its terrace and very well equipped. Located close to the lake, there are many activities to do, the area is very nice. René gave us a warm welcome. Small downside, the road nearby is very busy.

Very good stay with my friend, the location of the accommodation is perfect for all the visits we wanted to do over the weekend! Beautiful little village with a body of water nearby, very good for an evening meal or a walk. It is also possible to swim there. I highly recommend this listing!

It went very well. The accommodation is very good, easy to walk from Libourne train station and Perrine is very friendly and responsive and available! Anyway, I recommend it:)

Many thanks to Viviane for her welcome, kindness and suggestions. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Local products made by Viviane were waiting for us. A real treat! The house is very functional with lots of amenities (washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) and kitchen accessories. The location is very good because it's close to many tourist sites and activities (canoeing, tree climbing, swimming pool, etc.). We recommend Viviane's place without hesitation.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We would totally recommend this place and we will definitely return. Kim and Carol

This is a special place for those seeking peaceful surroundings, in an idyllic hamlet stepped in history. There is a brilliant swimming lake nearby, perfect for exercise and cooling down in and local woodland walks too. You can also just sit and read in the ample outside space and listen to the sounds of nature. Just let the stresses of life roll by! Furthermore the host and gardener live close by and both are warm and friendly.

Can’t rate this place highly enough! It is the most wonderful place; blissful and beautiful views all so calm and perfect setting. The house is immaculate very clean with lovely interiors, comfortable beds and lovely bedding. If you are looking for a fantastic place that you don’t want to leave this could be it; just perfect. Jean-Xavier is lovely and extremely helpful.

Very interesting quirky old house with lots of lovely antique things in it. It is set in a wide open space with swings and slides and had loads of amazing toys which my 3 year old grandson loved. He didn’t want to leave and said he was going to miss the very friendly donkeys and all the toys. We had a lovely time but sadly the weather was very mixed so we only managed to use the pool once. On our last night we ate at Azul in Cancon and it was excellent. Thank you Françoise and Pascal for a lovely stay.

We had the most beautiful, relaxing stay. Paul and Rachel are such lovely, friendly hosts full of lovely local recommendations (a highlight was a lovely dinner by the river) and always on hand to help or suggest recommendations. The gite is in a really stunning location - surrounded by fields as far as the eye can see with a beautiful pool. Paul and Rachel kindly put out lots of toys for our children (the skateboard was a hit!) and the bbq was brilliant. We’re looking forward to coming back! Thank you for having us.

Marie-Claire was so welcoming and gave us a tour of their home, it was exactly like the picture and more so, we wanted somewhere close to relax before a wedding and it was the perfect spot! Couldn’t fault anything, we even left something behind and they were so accommodating with the whole process, highly recommend!

We had a very refreshing and cozy stay despite the rain. We could use the hot tub for as long as we wanted and were very well received despite our last minute booking. We will be back 😊
