He also solved all the problems and doubts and helped me in everything that I could need so much to get there as during my stay. My family was delighted with the house ... very beautiful with its traditional touches that remind us of an almost forgotten history. The house is equipped with everything you might need and the patio and pool BBQ area is an ideal secluded oasis in these times ... with stunning views. The property is set in beautiful countryside at the foothills of Maroma, on the edge of the National Park, with breathtaking views. 20 minutes to the coast, 45 to Malaga and 90 to Granada. Bars, restaurants and local shops 5 minutes away. Bedlinen, towels, tea and coffee provided. No smoking inside but ok in garden.
“Magnificent independent room from the main house of Shiona, located on a small hill with spectacular views of a group of small towns and mountain areas, next to the Sierra de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama. Access to housing deviates from the road to a lane, unpaved in some areas, about 150 meters away. Upon arrival at the destination, the entrance has a small natural shelter for some plants and trees and an area under an olive tree where you can leave your car. When accessing the interior of the plot, the room is in the right area next to the bathroom, which is adjacent to the room. The pool is according to expectations and ideal for being with your partner without any noise, rather than the birds and animals that inhabit the entire area. The room consists of a built-in cabinet for dishes, glasses and bowls along with a section for cleaning objects and a dustbin. It has several forks, knives and scissors. A small fridge with a small compartment for freezing. An electric portable vitro with which you can make food without problem. The two beds are comfortable enough to enjoy alone or in company, the upper part being a solarium in which the light that enters there is enough to avoid having to turn on any light, even at night. We have felt at home, Shiona being a true host, offering herself at all times and taking an interest in our well-being and our needs as if we were family. We will go again and we will feel the peace that that place transmits, but above all, we will go again for the hospitality that Shiona has provided at all times.”

“If you need to disconnect from the world then this is just the place. Up in the mountains with a pool, a large terrace and a bbq it's the perfect get away. Three double bedrooms (two with double beds and one with two singles next to each other), the master bedroom is en-suite. There is 1 other bathroom. All the rooms open into the open living room and kitchen. Outside there are two dining areas. The house and outside was clean throughout. Kitchen is well equipped, plenty of everything you need. Although most of our meals were prepared on the outside BBQ. There is also a wood fired oven. We tried to cook a pizza in it but being novices with this way of cooking we had to eventually rely on the outdoor gas fired oven. The views and its remote location are its key. Extremely peaceful and relaxing, perfect for our family of 5. Thank you to the wonderful hosts who have paid great detail and interest in ensuring that the property is well maintained. Highly recommended.”
