Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Penzance

We had an absolutely lovely stay. Steven`s flat is ideally located, especially as we didn`t have a car. We were welcomed with friendly messages, some milk in the fridge and some biscuits which we really appreciated and Steven also checked in on us via messages to make sure everything was fine during our stay. Kind host, comfy flat, everything in easy walking distance, all in all a fantastic base to explore western Cornwall. Thanks a lot!

Louise and Paula were great hosts from the get-go! They were extremely responsive, friendly, with very clear instructions in their guest folder and via email before we arrived. Th accomodation itself was perfect for our trip as a base for exploring Land's End, Minack Theatre, and St Michael's Mount. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Newlyn and the surrounding areas, 10/10 would recommend :)

Nice little stone house, had everything we needed for a short stay. Looked lovely, just like the photos and the back yard was fantastic in the sunshine. Sam was responsive and helpful, so definitely would recommend.

Really great place! Water is just around the corner. Train station was about a 15 minute walk. Unfortunately could not fit our vehicle through the arch to park so had to park at the harbor and walk. 3 adults and 3 children and we had plenty of space! Would stay again!

As a family of 4 the property was ideal, it had all the amenities required for our 4 day stay. The property is stunning, so tastefully furnished and decorated, it is in a prime location with stunning sea views. Its location is great for strolling into Penzance and a short car journey to local sites, such as the Minack theatre, which is well worth a visit as well as St Ives. We were luckily enough to meet Lenn during our stay, he knows the area well and gave some great suggestions as well as being a great host, we found the property easily and followed Lenn’s instructions to a tee, we would recommend Lenn and Gord’s beautiful property, and was very sad to leave it to come home, a stunning find x

We had a lovely stay at The Rest! Cosy, warm and comfortable, everything we could have wanted in the heat of St Ives, highly recommend!

Superb value for money. The place was pristine, quiet and offered superb views of St Michael's Mount Bay with great access to all the local beaches and attractions. The parking situation was a little tricky, mainly due to having a big car and me being a bit crap at parallel parking, but Tom gave very clear instructions about this which helped a lot and by the end of the trip I had got some much needed practice in. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to visit a stunning part of Cornwall, my mother-in-law had a fabulous 60th Birthday and I enjoyed a lovely first Father's Day with my daughter, thank you very much for having us Tom and we hope to visit again soon!

Fabulous stay in a beautiful house. Had everything we needed. So central, could walk to Jubilee pool, harbour and al shops. Lovely to run on promenade and out to St Michaels Mount. Rooms were big and airy and bathroom was modern with a great shower. Loads of games for the kids and adults . Lovely big dining room table to socialise around. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful. Our Kiwi side of the family absolutely loved it too. Will definitely book again if back in Penzance. 😊

Lovely 4 night stay in very comfortable accommodation. We had everything we could of needed and more. Lis is a very pleasant host and was readily available if needed. Great place for exploring that area of Cornwall 😊😊

We had such a fantastic time at this Air BnB. Mary is a wonderful host and so helpful and friendly during our stay. The location is fabulous, within walking distance to Penzance, Newlyn and Mousehole (scenic walks too!) The place itself is beautifully decorated and clean not to forget the views are wonderful! We very much enjoyed our morning tea watching the boats across the water. The bed is super comfortable and all amenities are as described if not better. We will definitely be returning! What a gem of a place and the loveliest host!

I could not rate this gorgeous apartment highly enough. I could have stayed for weeks - there was so much thought which had gone into every detail to make it comfortable, homely and welcoming. Lovely spot just a walk from the beach. The outdoor balcony space was welcomed when the sun was shining after a long day walking. We had everything we needed! Rachel was great with recommendations and quick to respond if we had any questions or needed anything

Incredibly friendly host and a lovely and cozy place. There is a bike hire shop and a tin mines museum 4 minutes down the road. Plus a nice medieval themed pub practically next down. Excellent place to stay

Lovely apartment in an excellent location. it was private and tranquil yet close to town. In one direction it was a walk to the bus & train station and in the other direction a stroll to Penlee Park, Morab Gardens and the Lido & promenade. Perfect! The kitchen was well equipped, the shower was fabulous and the bed was very comfortable.

We had a wonderful weeks stay for our honeymoon in this lovely and peaceful place that felt just like being at home. Cara was fantastic and really helpful and communicative - completely understanding and accommodating when we found out we’d be bringing our newborn along with us too! Location is beautiful and just as described with lots of lovely places to visit whilst staying. Just the perfect stay. Thank you!

We absolutely loved this place! Staying at Paul and Sereen’s home was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Cornwall. The location is super convenient — right next to the train station — and the free parking was such a bonus for our road trip. The space itself was beautiful, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches that really showed how much Paul and Sereen care about their guests. One of my favourite moments was watching the sunset from the balcony with a stunning view of St Michael’s Mount. Thank you so much, Paul and Sereen, for sharing your lovely home with us. The studio is beautifully presented and very extremely clean. Toiletries and linens are lovely and Elizabeth goes above and beyond in providing extra ‘incidental’ items that are so useful - spare toothbrushes, spectacle wipes etc. For wet days there is a large selection of reading and games material. We had everything we needed but I also felt that Elizabeth would respond immediately if there were any issues whatsoever.

Such a fantastic place to stay. Myself and my family surprised our cousin with a trip to Cornwall and this property was one of the highlights. It was beautifully decorated and my favourite touch was the thoughtful recommendations and places to visit! The space was very homely and unique. The location was perfect and we used this to our advantage when exploring the area. Jordan was a great host, communicating with us promptly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will keep this place in mind for future trips!

My daughter and I stayed for a few days and the apartment was perfect. Great location, very close to shops, restaurants and the beach. Apartment was clean, tidy and looked exactly like the photos. View was beautiful! Has everything you would need. Paul was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an amazing few days in St Ives and will definitely be staying at the apartment again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the old stables. Judy was a great host, was a lovely place, very clean and well equipped.

This is a really lovely place to stay. We had 10 days enjoying the wonderful view from the front room and sitting outside. Very well equipped and Mark was very helpful, meeting us when we arrived to help get everything inside. Lovely easy walk to Penzance and Mousehole, and further on to Marazion and St Michael’s Mount, and also near bus stops if you are walking the SWCP as I was to get to start and finish points.

A lovely little flat which was very clean and well equipped. Eleanor was friendly and helpful. The welcome pack was a nice touch. Very handy location near the Art school. I would not recommend to a nervous driver though. Difficult entry and exit.

My husband and I and our adult daughter had 3 wonderful days at Riverview. The photos and description on the Airbnb site are accurate but don’t really do it justice. The apartment is modern, bright with every room having a stunning view. The balcony is huge and it is bathed in sunlight up until about midday. It was a pleasure sitting on the deck having Bkfst or sitting in the evening with a drink enjoying the view and sounds of the birds. There is an allocated off road carpark. The apartment is below road level so there is a flight of stairs to go down, which could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. The owners of the apartment live in the apartment above. We never heard them walking around. We did meet them on the street and they are an extremely friendly couple. Highly recommend the walking tour “Falmouth Uncovered” with Will. Highly informative and entertaining. Will is a real character and was the highlight of our day in Falmouth. Highly recommend “Riverview”.
